"now it's a beautiful wheel...." Producer: "you still gotta do it 4 more times, customer wants spare wheel done too" "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Why the hell do you always "prime" the sprayer away from the wheel. Seems completely retarded to waste product on the floor just to make sure you have a nice full spray for the wheel/surface to be cleaned..
It is a waste, yes. But this way there's no chance of any slight damage. If you're working on a customers car you will try to reduce damaging any part of their car, even if there is only a slight chance (like not doing what you said).
Wouldn't it have been better to wash the barrel first to knock off loose contaminants and dirt before using less Decon to remove the embedded contaminants rather than using half of its power cutting through dirt?
What's up Matt, We have both an electric-powered and gas-powered pressure washer. The electronic-powered pressure washer has an 1800 PSI while the gas-powered pressure washer has 2800 PSI. I've placed a link for you to follow and check them out. As always, thank you for being part of the Chemical Guys family! www.costco.com/CatalogSearch?keyword=pressure+washers&pageSize=96
I just bought the exact same wheels and they are basically in similar condition. On that lip of the rim it's baked on brake dust that almost seems as hard as rust. When I scratch it with my fingernail it seems to come off. I ordered some decon and some other cleaners and materials to hopefully do this exact same detail. The look of that hard brake dust worries me but I suppose it will come off.
Hey Anthony! JetSeal is only intended for surfaces that are gloss painted, clear or shiny. Use a dressing such as V.R.P. for interior and exterior vinyl, rubber and plastic components. www.chemicalguys.com/vrp-super-shine-dressing/vrp-super-shine.html
This process works on stock OEM and custom aftermarket wheels so long as they have a high-grade, professionally-done paint finish. Test out a small test spot for desired results to check your wheel's finish, and pay attention to your results as you work to stop and make any adjustments as you see fit.
Hi buddy, thanks for watching. Get a bucket, fill it with de-ionized water, get some diablo wheel gel, use about two to three ounces of it in the bucket. Pickup the EASY REACH WHEEL AND RIM DETAILING BRUSH and dip it in the bucket, and use it to clean in between the spokes. Grab a Rubber And Plastic Brush to wash the tires with, and the short handle wheel and tire brush to scrub the wheels with the Diablo Wheel Gel. After you're done scrubbing, you should rinse the wheels off.
Hey there! Thanks for checking out the video. We do not offer detailing services to public but we have everything you need to keep your ride looking fresh!
My wheels were so dirty that the brake dust was bleeding out onto the face of the wheel but i have no way of taking the wheel off so i just gave it a good plunge brushing :(
Hi Robert, thanks for watching. Unfortunately that happens often because of the constant breaking which wears down your pads. A good rinse, the proper wheel cleaner, and some gentle wheel brushes are the ticket to getting those wheels looking their best. Taking the wheel off is allot of work, cleaning your wheels every couple of weeks for an hour is all it takes to keep the wheels from corroding. Stay tuned Robert, more great videos coming your way every week.
I do. Some people are just extremely meticulous about their rides. I do understand what you are saying because you think who the hell are going to be looking at my barrels. Well, I'm 42 and my will ride me like the Lone Ranger on Trigger The Horse if he sees anything on my car and truck. Especially those damn wheels. LOL. It is what it is for different people.
Good informative video. My concern is that her seal will not last on that wheel because jet seal is not meant to withstand high heat from braking especially when the owner will be taking it to the track. You need a wheel specific ceramic coating like carpro Dlux and then you can top it off with your wheel wax for extra gloss. Chemical guys jet seal is only good for doing the body panels of the car because those panels aren't exposed to extreme heat that brakes would give off. Again chemical guys your info is not totally correct. That's why I don't follow your videos like I used to because your product is inferior to other companies like Adams polishes or carpro
Sure is easy to do all this work when you're only doing one wheel. 😉Btw... All that sealant is gonna melt right off! Come on you guys should know that!
"now it's a beautiful wheel...."

Happy Fox u deserve more likes my friend
Was that drying towel just left on the gritty floor?!
13:47 "I can hit it from the back". what a lucky wheel that GTR has

smanderson117 yes it would have but then they wouldn't be able to showcase the Decon and have some idiot be like "hey where can I buy that"
65amg305 very true. Always something that irritates me in videos involving fallout remover
My thoughts exactly. Such a waste of product and its not allowing the product to do what its intended for.
Great result, great JOB, wheel looks fantastic!
hit it from the back 13:50 lmao
😂😂😂
I was hoping someone else had spotted that too.. Hitting the shit from the back. Godamn
CarLover "You get the back part of the lip a lot easier that way."
CarLover giggity
Later on they gunna get a letter from Nissan saying why you guys talking shit about us in your video lmao
Finally Chemical Guys reduced the size of the their video logo. Now it looks more appropriate size. Other than that great video.
What pressure wash is used here?

21.00 Nissan thought no one would ever look there....yet here we are...
If I clay bar my oil dip stick will I get 20 more horsepower performance...
digitalghost81 😂😂😂😂😂
About 16.37 to be precise........... Polishing the headlights however does reduce drag by 0,000318% That I also like.

We sure hope so! Start with the basic washing techniques shown here, the gentlest way to get the job done is always the best!
I feel like that is over kill. It'd probably be good with just cleaning it with some product then maybe doing a hand wax rarely
This is not overkill. This is what you would call a detail.
Can you add jet seal on the rubber of the tires ?
Hey Anthony! JetSeal is only intended for surfaces that are gloss painted, clear or shiny. Use a dressing such as V.R.P. for interior and exterior vinyl, rubber and plastic components.
www.chemicalguys.com/vrp-super-shine-dressing/vrp-super-shine.html

Thx
This clean is more of a show car clean or a once every 6 months type of clean.
I clean in the inside of my wheels when I rotate my tires every 5k miles. In most cases I can clean the inside with just car wash soap and water.
Would love this service, my wheels have some haze on them.
Where's Jen!! 😂😂😂
Do you guys polish peoples wheels too?

This wheel cleaner than my bed 🙂💔💔💔💔💔💔
Please get your stuff in India!
To me it looks like Nissan was being cheap and didn’t tape off the spokes or the edge of the wheel to have a clean cutoff from the paint smh
Sure is easy to do all this work when you're only doing one wheel. 😉Btw... All that sealant is gonna melt right off! Come on you guys should know that!
someone did a shitty job painting those rims 😂😂😂
all that work for one wheel...... I'll charge alot
