I just got a 2 pack (2x 1kg)of Elegoo black PLA for $23 and change on Amazon. Nice tight wind. Prints great.

Really love this video very informative. The one thing that I would like to see though is more lighting on the projects you printed it’s very hard to see for me. I look for layer lines and imperfections which I’m sure this is what you’re trying to show but I cannot see it in the video but all in all you do a very good job in reporting on these different brands thank you I totally enjoyed it
one tip, for the layer adhesion, snap them each the same as you did the one before, on the first one, you snapped it from the sides, but on the second, you snapped it with pressure added in the middle
Thank you for the input That's the one part of the video that I'm not really a fan of so far as the layer adhesion test I want to come up with something a little bit more scientific lol
I've read on multiple reddit posts tha sunlu, jayo, kingroon and another brand are all the same under different names, so I would add Kingroon
In my experience kingroon is definitely different, at least the quality of material for sure

Thank you for the comment! Yeah I realized this shortly after especially with the black being so dark, definitely going to have better lighting in the future
i have been using overture for a while now, and its very consistent. Unfortunately its not offered in very many colors.
Yes this is one of the problems with that brand unfortunately but I've had good luck with them in most of the colors I've tried
Nice. One thing though when watching the video you seemed to get clogging in many prints, and it's not clear from the video if you got the clog removed between prints.
The Kingroon was clogging because of the bad quality of filament I'm pretty sure
@@glennbrian3d I guess, as long we are not talking abut a clogged nozzle that makes the issue worse over time.

at the time of filming i would say jayo but they have gotten expensive since ive made thie video, overture is what i would go with atm but prices change all the time

if you mean the numnbers on the temp towers, its the temperature of the nozzle

Overture always works good for me unless left out. But it’s always so expensive.
