I love that modder added the ability to use Sandevistan when driving. And i love how both David and V have different drawback when using Sandevistan. So, David can use Sandevistan repeatedly but it will weakening him while V has cooldown time but without getting weak. That's just nice.
@Veradux Cooldown time is still there, is it not ? So, the drawback is still there but not as much. Also, there is no consequences of overusing cyberware, like ever. Only thing that can happen to you is implementing too much cyberware will cause Cyberpsychosis.
I always took it as V knowing what overusing Sandevistan is like so they follow the recommended cooldown time. If shit hit the fan and constant use of it was needed V could do it but suffer the same drawbacks, but thats headcannon stuff.
The car was very classy and at first it was ridiculous how it jumped across but it got so cool when David made it drift using his sandevistan spasms making those sudden turns of the wheel!!!
It's like if GTA turning into Tony Hawk Pro Skater all of a sudden if such stunts were so easy to pull in real life. CDPR might as well implement such gameplay for Cyberpunk 2.
I love how the show had an interesting way of using super speed. It's not just for quick fights, but using it during driving was an awesome creative way to utilize it.
I like what this scene added to Lucy’s character development. She has the whole “cool and collected” thing going on while she’s teasing David, but you can hear her voice change when they’re actually in imminent danger and you see her start to lose her composure. You start to see the cracks in her facade here.
In fact, more than fear I think it was an exciting sensation of danger, like the effect of adrenaline on our body, I don't think it breaks the personality she showed at the beginning.
It was hilarious and endearing they actually implemented the insane traffic and glitchy physics of the launch version and made us love it instead of hate it this time. I remember vividly how terrible it was and now it's just hilarious and awesome.
This is the MOST ACCURATE animated representation of driving in Cyberpunk 2077, both in first and third person camera views, the physics of driving on the terrain and streets in game, and how players "interact" with traffic was spot on. Well done Studio Trigger!
because the Tiger Claws are supposed to be Japanese, Night City is a multicultural city so watching it with EVERYONE being japanese is just dumb. The english dub is real way the show should be viewed.

Lucy looks so eager to see whatever David's response to the situation. she was awfully calm explaining, pointing, and narrating "oh my, not good" to David. She enjoyed David's company but didn't realize it. she was probably underestimating David but proved herself wrong
Fun fact, that'd actually help in the tabletop too. Driving is a Reflex-based check, and boosterware and speedware both increase Reflex. Trigger your speedware a few seconds before you need to make a big stunt and you up your chances by 30%.

This anime can be seen almost in it's entirety because so much of it is clip worthy so many scenes just shine the way almost nothing can. And all will make me tear up just from reminding me of that ending :(

Honestly there's not really many places they could go for a second season unless they follow a new group. And second seasons aren't really the animation studio's thing...
Only way to make a "Season 2" is via an Anthology approach which expands the world of Cyberpunk by showing the struggles of some of the members from specific sides of society such as the Fixers and Corpos at Arasaka. Should CDPR hire studio Trigger to help them promote "Cyberpunk 2" they could easily make a new series focused on a Fixer or Arasaka corpo dealing with their own problems surviving from all of the corruption plaguing the city. They would of course also add lots of Easter Eggs regarding David and company for old fans to enjoy.

Edgerunners gave the feeling of grief, fun, excitement, companionship and most importantly love and the comfort of being with someone you love.. then it snatches all of it away with one swing.. leaving you with nothing but pain and a void that'll never fill.. the cruel feeling of loneliness and heartbreak is all that remains.
For what it's worth, I just love the animation on that thug bodyguard. It's like they put a strange amount of love and attention to his awkward flailing.

This anime has to be one of the best adaptations of a videogame into another medium of all time. It is VERY true to the source material.
And Cyberpunk 2077 is the adaptation of a boardgame released in 1988.
This would be a great tutorial scene to like a DLC or smth where you play as David and go through a more in depth game version of edgerunners.
