Once you are done with the fix do you flip the cans over and spray it out until there's no paint coming out?
Or it is safe to use it, and put away once you're done?
Also, how many coats of clear coat you do, and do you eventually polish it with a paste?

what??? You think the can of paint goes bad?? No you can just put the can away and then use it again when whatever you sprayed fades.....you don't have to spray all the paint out in the trash throw away the can after one application.......why would you ever think that? I mean unless you stick the can in direct sunlight for like a whole day or stick it in the oven it's not going to explode. Is that what you're worried about? It exploding??

I have found that I need 10 to 12 coats of color to cover primer. Maybe because I am using white? Still, color paint seems thin. Came out nice in the long run though, after wet sanding with 2000 grit to bring back the shine.

Must be nice to film in standard definition with poor lighting so none of the viewers can see the actual new paint and imperfections

I have never seen a duplicolor spray can spray as well as it does in this video. I am doing a fender with "victory red" color and every can I have used "spits" out and not sprays.

may be too late for you but a good tip is to set the can in warm water for 10 minutes before you shake it. gets a more even fluid mix and sprays nice and smooth. same for other paints and enamels. cheers.

Sounds like you didn’t mix it well enough. I’ve never had that issue. I use duplicolot spray cans to do guitars

I'd recommend using a plastic tarp over newspaper. That paper can bleed through. Also you should be wearing eye protection when spraying anything.

Gray for dark colors. Just enough that you can see. That you are covering the whole area. You use white. It takes more coats to cover it.

No infiniti BS3 color code. Blah! And of course you demo on a light color. Try doing dark blue. Doesnt match at all on a 15 year old car. Take into account the fade

I don’t recommend this garbage this is not worth buying just get a paint code and get it done right , the paint will not match and will cause you to run into a problems, for example they have a tornado red vw color that don’t match looks completely different , ford blue it don’t match they are using these paint codes and it don’t match

My Chrysler Brilliant Black Pearl is a perfect match. That’s the black you see on every black Magnum. Charger, 300, Grand Cherokee, etc. It’s got a TON of metallic in it. Still, looks as good as factory, even before the clear. The website was slack though, and they inexplicably dint make another color I need for my wife’s White Suede Milan. Stupid. Unobtanium. I even emailed them and Fran,my git a response a week later that they no longer make that color. Why? It turns out that not only is it a common color, it’s a FLEET vehicle color! And they don’t make it anymore? Frustrating. But the black Pearl is awesome. I would never use anything else.
