  • Track 1 from the 1988 album, Power Metal.
    LYRICS:
In these times of confusion and sin.
We must redeem our human ways.
This force that fights to live will fight till it dies.
And rise again to save the day.
We all, rock, rock the world!
We all, rock, rock the world!
The power grows to destroy this flag of hate.
That waves so high in the air.
We raise our fists in rebellion we stand.
Our hungry hearts set the snare.
We all, rock, rock the world!
We all, rock, rock the world!
    Ageless as time.
    Change is revealed.
    We will rock for you.
We all, rock, rock the world!
We all, rock, rock the world!
    Rock!
    Rock, rock the world!
    Rock!
    Rock, rock the world!

Bit late with this comment but he stopped because he felt like this vocal technique was overused and wanted to move in a heavier direction. Combine that with the drinking, heroin and cigarettes and you get Phil's voice today.

I prefer phil's singing here than in the later groove albums

Only exception would be cowboys from Hell since he sounds the same as this album but a bit more heavier
