Thanks for this. reverse camera in my 2012 SRX wasnt working. showing no camera icon. i checked the fuse box in the back that you described as hidden compartment and i checked the fuse box labels and saw one named camera. sure enough the fuse was blown. red 10a fuse. i replaced the fuse and reverse camera is back up. thanks.
