Our kitty Lilly had the same problems. We started her on a little higher dose CBD then what Dr.suggest here, about. 1/2 eye dropper for the first week, then 1/4 the next then about 2 drops twice a day after that. She was so skinny. So weak. But by the second week she was already better. She started eating again, moving, by week 3 her kidney's were Way better, . We could tell her heart was better. She never gained all her weight back, but it made such s difference. But about 3 months later she didn't come,, we live in the county, we found proof that the coyote's got her😭, guess it doesn't make em faster

I have three senior cats (two siblings who are 15 years old and a 9 years old). My 9 years old Mixed Persian is FIV positive and now developed Liver problems and pancreatitis. He is on Hepatic Royal Canin dry food and Trovet canned food. The vet prescribed Lysine for him too. I know you don't support feeding dry food, can you recommend some alternatives or best food for cats with these problems? Please make a video on how to look after an FIV cat.

My 17 yr old cat suffers from inflammation and arthritis and I have tried everything, even the new solensia shot for the last 3 months and nothing has helped. I am starting this to really try and hope for a miracle for her

My mom died and I am trying to adopt her cat. Just got her from under my house where she was there 7 days! Only had her 1 1/2 days and she was out of here. Now i have her in the bathroom and she has stopped eating again.
My home is just so nuch louder and busier than my moms. I'm so sad she seems to hate it here.

Are you feeding dry food? It’s probably harder to digest. Sometimes opening a probiotic capsule (ie Kyodophilus basic one ) and putting about 1/4capsule in food might help. Good bacteria promote good digestion.
We are traveling long distance from Oregon to Texas. Would this help alleviate any anxiety of a long road trip or should I just go for a test drive with my cat to see her reaction?

I was all set to order your CBD but then discovered Canadians don't have access to it. Quite disappointed as I was planning on using it with several cats including 2 colony cats. One with chronic loose stools who is presently on a daily dose of prednisone, another colony cat who is FIV+ with chronic upper respiratory infection and an arthritic 19 yr old cat who also suffers from frequent UTI's. As you can see the need is great and if I can move toward CBD as opposed to drugs that would be preferable. Any chance your CBD will be available to Canadians any time soon? If not can you recommend an alternative? Thanks
I want to use cbd( non Th) but one is 17 and on Semintra for kidney disease. The other aged 13 is on prednisone for bowel lymphoma. I have read that cbd should not be combined ?

Get to vet for xray. Better to be safe than sorry.
I wouldn't try to induce vomiting as it could lodged in the throat. If it goes further down, it may not pass and will cause a blockage, either in the stomach, small intestine or large intestine. It doesn't take a much to cause a blockage. Sometimes it passes, sometimes it doesn't.
There are symptoms. Vomiting, lack of appetite, diarrhea, general malaise, not drinking water, fever, constipation, not passing stools and weight loss.
Drooling... hacking but nothing comes up. The cat does not feel well. If your cat indeed swallowed a piece of a sponge, you don't want to wait for these symptoms, you don't have the time. Full on intestinal blockage, that part of the intestines begin to die and then becomes necrotic, septicemia sets in which is throughout the entire bloodstream and organs. The cat will need surgery to remove the blockage and/or necrotic tissue. PLEASE GO SEE YOUR VET if you are SURE your cat indeed swallowed a piece of a sponge. A sponge is highly absorbent and will continue swell from bodily fluids making this even more urgent and dangerous. 💝

Copaiba oil does the same effect, but without the collateral effects.

When i tried growing, for what ever reason my cat Rowland kept trying to eat the leaves off the plant - He seriously was acting like it was catnip or something. I dont understand, he doesnt act that way when he's around dried cannabis Ive had. I had to move the plants somewhere where he couldnt get (I originally figured he'd ignore it like he usually does weed!)

I just started giving my cat CBD. It’s only day 4 and I heard it can take up to 2 weeks to see a difference. I also changed his diet. I think he is stressed and losing his appetite. I am not sure of his age but at least 10.

A cat that seems stressed and not eating could be a sign of kidney failure take your cat to the vet asap

It seemed to work at the beginning, but then it stopped working. And yes, I believe it was kidney failure mostly. Two days ago I held him as he went to rainbow bridge. The vet was awesome...a great place to take him. We talked of how, sometimes cats are really good at covering up how badly they feel and will try to behave normally. I still believe in CBD. 🙏 thank you

@@allisonsherman7231 So sorry for your loss. My young cat, Miracle just passed away on Monday 11/29/21 from.unmanaged IBD. I was trying to firm up her stools with OTC meds & pumpkin puree. My mentioned steroid, but I was afraid being that she was thin at only 4lbs from weught loss. My other vet (same animal hospital) advised against the steroid. I was still deciding which CBD oil to buy when she passed suddenly. Really shocked by this and now feel she probably needed the steroid all along. Heartbroken 😭😭😭
Hi Doctor, I love your videos. I have a question I would really appreciate if you can lead me in the right direction. My cat has been diagnosed with plasma cell potodermatitas (not sure I pronounced it correctly) and have her on medication, her paws and skin are scaley, itchy and patchy is there anything I can do to help that's all natural that can help her? will be closer to 20 min or half hour (via digestive tract) if they are licking it up

I have an extremely hyperactive 1 year old male cat. He will still cuddle and play but has multiple instances a day of just full sprinting across my apartment for hours, bouncing off furniture and running on the walls. I do have a second cat and the instances of this extreme hyperactivity have somewhat decreased but not a lot. Do you think cbd would be worth trying for him?

I think you need to play with him more and exercise him. He needs exercise to burn off his excess energy especially if he's an indoor cat living in an apartment!!
I really hope I can get some soon. One of my cats is a wallflower cat. She hides all the time. She hates the other cats. They don't even bother her. There are no fights or anything like that. She will hide so much she will not go to the litter box and just go where ever. I did take her to the vet recently.
Sorry to say by maybe rehome her? Some cats prefer to be the only cat in a house.

@@Lady.MD67 I stopped giving him after the second dose. I figured he was going through a food aggression stage. I stopped free feeding them dry cat food. That triggered him big time! As long as I feed him a little more than his sister and at his specific times he’s good. He’s still a brat and punks her here and there but overall he’s a little better.
That math problem confused my. My cat is 10Lbs. I have a bottle of CBD oil for her. It has 250mg in one bottle (1oz/30ml.) so do I give her one drop per day? Did I just do a math problem correctly?

We have a senior cat that has multiple health problems including undiagnosed breathing problems. The vets want to do $6000 of tests to get answers. We are looking for another way to help our 16 year old cat, I hope this works for her.

Murray, you devil you! Lol! I shouldn't laugh, that hurts like hell. :-/ My oldest cat, Taj is 18 and suffers from end stage kidney disease. She loses her appetite often with frequent nausea/vomiting. I'm going to try this to see if it helps with her nausea and/or appetite. Thanks Dr. Jones! :)

I was giving my 7 yr old cat, Rex CBD oil because he started spraying excessively and I watched him going in and out of the litter box at least 4 times in 20 mins.
Turns out, he has crystals. He was prescribed medication and a special urinary food.
Question: Do you think regular urinary food is just as good as the prescribed kind?
