I learned a very important lesson from this video. About 5 years ago, we had taken one of our cats to the vet because he just wasn't the same. It ended up that his blood sugar levels were through the roof! She immediately gave him a shot and then explained that he had diabetes. All she told us was that we would have to prick his paw 2 times per day and then give him insulin. My wife went BALLISTIC! My wife told the vet that she couldn't put him through that kind of pain twice a day for the rest of his life. He was 12 years old at that point. I changed his diet but, he was a very smart cat. He would hide from me if he knew that I needed to get blood. He only lived another 4 months. It was the WORST DAY OF MY WIFE'S LIFE! Even back then, the vet didn't say anything about wet vs dry food. I have a big cat now. I rescued her from outside. She belonged to someone because she had already been fixed. I have been giving her kibble for the last 4 years. That STOPS TONIGHT! I NEVER KNEW THAT IT WAS BAD FOR MY BABY. THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO
Sorry you lost you ur baby....i had been told yrs back that dry wasn't good for kitties but ppl tell me it's good for their teeth. Bad for their bodies tho.
@@chainamarie03 If you notice cats barely chew the kibble, they swallow. The best thing is raw food and under supervision you can give your cat raw chicken wings so he can chew and that will clean his teeth.
Never feed your pets any dry or "Man"ufactured pet"food." It's all poison. I lost my dog to Science Diet in 2018. I rescued a 5wk old puppy in 5/2022, and now I produce and sell her unseasoned food. Before WW2 and pet"food" the average age of a Golden Retriever was 19. Post WW2, and petpoison it's 12.
I love it how you didnt try to sell stuff to our cats lol thank you for that, and informative video!
You're welcome and thanks for watching!

I'm from USA but moved to Denmark to be with my husband, we got 3 Siberian cats. They were on a supposed "high quality" canned food, but I could tell by some of their symptoms and how their poop smelled and the consistency that it was, in reality, terrible quality food. Even though they were extremely active, they soon became lethargic, began gaining lots of weight despite feeding them proper amounts, had frequent diarrhea, and scooching across the carpet, not to mention their poop smelled so awful and strong it filled the apartment despite being in an enclosed litter box with a charcoal filter. My family in USA, switched our 2 Labradors to a properly balanced commercial raw food company and the health differences in them were astounding. So I spent months, hours everyday on the computer trying to find a proper raw food company in Denmark because it would be too expensive to make it on my own(organ meats are actually eaten regularly here). I ended up finding a brand of raw food, and it was way cheaper than what I was feeding the cats before. The first change was they had incredible amounts of energy again, they stopped having diarrhea altogether, their poop became nice and plump as it should be and hard enough to allow their anal glands to express on their own the way they're supposed to and that alleviated the scooching on the carpet. They began to lose weight at a steady rate and now they are where they should be. Their fur is 10x softer than before with much less shedding. Their poop, doesn't smell a stitch. I am able to have an open Modkat XL litter box now because there is 0% smell from their poop. Only smell the ammonia from their urine at the end up the day when its time to clean the litter box anyways. Please do your research on finding raw for your cats. Don't give up, because what you feed your cat will either spend more money at the vet or at home healthy as a kitten.
Hello!
Thank you for sharing your experience it may give me a lead on what i should feed my kitten. If you're ever online can you provide more specifications on the food you gave your cats. Thank you!
I did exactly the same as you did with my own cat and the results are identical. The joy of her poop having no smell whatsoever, oh god! I wish people were more educated about this.
Hey, what USA raw food company were you using?

I'm feeding around 40 cats...and, yes, we broke and poor.
I feed them wet, breakfast and dinner, then keep a bowl of dry kibble out 24/7 for in-between meals.
I don't know what else to do...
About 22 indoor cats, and around 18-20 ferals outside....it's very hard, and Very Expensive. 😟

Why thank you, kind sir....yes, that's about it... doing the best we can. 😛
You must be an Angel. 😺
Thank you for being kind. Have you thought of becoming a registered cat rescue so you can get assistance?
I grew up in a household where the majority of the animal food is dry kibble, and only one animal isn’t overweight (we have four). I didn’t realize this until last year when my friends pointed it out. Although I’m not really in charge of anything over my parents, I do have a responsibility to make sure my animals are healthy, today I’m putting all the cats on a healthier lifestyle. Thank you so much for your videos
Welcome and Thanks for the kind words!
I started buying tuna, and the cat LOVES it, but I read that tuna can cause issues. So, I have cut it back to just a treat, every now and then. I will likely switch to cooked chicken and see if that helps. One thing I have found, I bought a ceramic pet fountain, and put it on the porch, I noticed the cat drinks much more water from the fountain, and ignores the still water bowl inside. I like that it is ceramic, and has activated charcoal filters that are replaceable. I have a 5 and 1 micron filter on the cold water inlet to the house, and also filter all the drinking water (for all of us) with the Brita filters/containers. I wash and sanitize the pet fountain on a weekly basis, and change the filter in the fountain every month. It's nice to see her sitting out on the porch drinking from the top of the fountain. I added a small fish tank heater to the fountain, so it wont freeze in the winter months when the temp can drop slightly below freezing for a few weeks. She has a cat door, and does her business outside, hopefully that encourages her to relieve herself frequently with no smell issues. I just want her to live a long, healthy, happy life and feel loved. :)
Summarized in one word: MEAT.
Dry is nice, if you have to leave home overnight. My cat likes canned and dry. Thanks doctor, I didn’t know the dry was harmful.
dont leave dry foo out when you arent home, free feeding is horrible for cats. get them on a consistent feeding regime. most cats only need to be fed 1-2 times a day.
@cubomania3 3 times? With the appropriate doses I guess 3 times is okay. I feed my Cat twice daily and she is pretty healthy and active. Do not OVERFEED the Cat please.
HELLO! This was not stated as daily feeding. Say W has to leave for work at 7am knowing the normal return at 5pm won't happen, W is leaving enough food to last the overnight to get to the next days 5pm since nobody will be there. It's okay for a day. :-)
Cats can regulate their own intake if they are full they will stop
@@arjayjames7384 what would be the amount you give?
After you said Murray has reversed diabetes, I decided to do the same and cut down on dry cat’s food. We drastically reduced dry food to almost nothing. The super chubby one eats slower and is now perfectly slender, but at a healthy weight. The other was bloated, but now is perfect weight too. I figured, if I’m buying cat food, the money will even out too. I feed them 3 meals a day, plus treats. I’m hoping they never get the UTI issues. Even so, years ago, I decided never to buy the cheap dry cat food ever again because somebody said their vet told him that it causes urinary tract infections. Then, my cat acted like it had one, and I gave it an opened capsule of good probiotics on it’s wet food for about a week and she got all better.
What kind of canned food did you give them
I thought this video was going to tell us what "good" brands of cat food he recommends.
We actually saw the brand it’s organics, that’s what he’s feeding Murray.
I’m hoping to inform my parents on how harmful some pet foods are for my cats. I have two overweight kitties who are mixed breeds, a large Maine coon, and a tiny runt who I love dearly. I’m very reluctant to trust many cat food companies because of the scares and unhealthy ingredients that go into them. I love my cats very much and I want them to live long, healthy lives, but I need to figure out what’s best to feed them. Any suggestions?
Avoid kibble- canned cat food.
@@VeterinarySecrets in no
AGREED. 100%%% agree. My cat passed away two days ago because our vet kept insisting we fed him Royal Canin 😭😭😭
@@VeterinarySecrets how many cans per cat per day? What about a mix of can and kibble with a bit of water? I've done a handful of kibble per cat and 1 can mixed with some water and they haven't had any issues. The obese cat I had got adopted and she was giving him 2 cans of wet per day. Now he's stopped eating. She's taking him to the vet tomorrow.
The answer to what Murray will eat: all of it
I would die for Murray, just saying
I’m educating myself, thanks for the video. I’m definitely not feeding my cat dry food no more. Cooked chicken , canned food and raw food is something I will for sure do
I think Murray was already a bit full when you presented the raw food lol :-)
My cat won't eat the liver raw, but once I cook it and mash it up with all the goodies added/ needed goes nuts for it. I also add hearts and gizzards at times when I can find. I add a can of wild caught sardines(with olive oil only use a bit of oil and that does include sea salt), turmeric, physlium, ground eggsells, egg, kelp powder, ground raw pumkin seeds, diatomaceous earth, and Taurine. I've added cooked peas and carrots to this also.
Beautiful ❤I do the same for my furbabies and Dog furbaby also add flax seeds or oil, coconut oil, alphalpha, salmon oil, tiny but of either spinach, broccoli. Blueberries, cranberries, etc.... ive never had sick furbabies on top if giving them pieces of raw, chicken, meats grass fed and wild caught salmon ❤
Hi, be careful of the diatomaceous earth giving it orally, Dr.Karen Becker says not to do this…
What canned food can I buy, that doesn't have a kazzillion ingredients in?
My cat has been on canned food since coming to live with me, about 1 1/2 years. But I toss him kibble as a treat because he loves to try to catch it, chase it, etc. So then I was thinking, maybe I should be feeding him kibble since he loves it as a treat. But then I saw this video! Thank you - my cat will be staying on a canned diet after all.
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing! 😊
I would stop by my friends house and often he would be cooking angus hamburger for his dog. He is gone, the dog still lives there with the new owners.
Do you recommend certain kinds of canned foods for elderly cats?
Me and my boyfriend's male cat was diagnosed with UTI or struvite stones 2 years ago and our veterinarian recommended dietary kibble/dried food. We were sceptical as we should be because there was no moisture in the kibble and his UTI or an urinary obstruction repeated which is normally fatal for cats. We were really mad at our veterinarian because he could've died because of this. So I did my own research and watched loads of your videos, I tried valerian tincture, L-teanine and I started to feed both of our cats with exclusively wet food which I mix with additional water because they don't drink a lot. Your channel has helped us so much! Eternally grateful
Hi, i have a question about wet food because im in a transition from kibbles to wet food. How many spoon of wet food (can) should we give the cat for a day?
Hi ,usually for a 10 pound cat ,one can 5 to 5.5 ounces. This is good for the day.
This help me a lot on my homework thx
I thought my cat like raw only alil'bit, but as soon as I moved her feeding plate of raw food to another room, and left her alone, she pretty much finished everything on her plate after checking up on her. If i learned anything about cats, is that they will do things when it pleases them.
I give my cat bit of kibble early morning with fibre for the shitter.. Later in day give wet food.. Any left over wet food add more water and give in afternoon.. He doses off.. Evenings wet.. Late night some little kibble to make sure he doesn't stay hungry till morn 7 am.. So 4 to 6 small meals a day.. If I'm not there at home dry kibble.. But when I get home.. Full pouch of chicken.. Monday to Thursday chicken, Fri-Sun lamb.. I do switch up the proteins so they don't get bored of the food..
Thank you for this video Dr. Jones. I shared it on Twitter. Murray chowed down on the cooked chicken lol.

Wow ty. I really didn't know about the dry food. My kitty is a big kitty.( You can see him on my channel. ) so i would like to change his diet and i didn't know how to start with it.
is it better to combine kibble with canned food or raw food?
Can you mix them all?
It so true on dry food but when you have more than one cat it hard to make homemade food all the time and price is high I do make chicken and liver when I can on pay day; I also notice it unfair to make dry food so expensive and bag so small. Not fair if you have more than one cat. I feel like a lot of people are cat haters. It sad when you Love them so much but all others see is to make money off them and you. Great video
Thanks
Wait so do your cats dry or canned food when you can’t afford homemade?
I would assume having two cats would only be maybe a human serving more, I don’t know if you’re vegan or vegetarian or really what kind of foods you are eating everyday, but I know cats shouldn’t eat that much, so maybe every time you make yourself chicken or salmon or whatever meat you eat that cats can eat as well, you could just give your kitties some of your dinner- of course without all the seasoning and sauces that might be added.
What do you think about mix (wet-dry food) diet?
Murray was so darn cute 🥰 and sweet 💕
I started my cat on home cooked food when she was a kitten but then she decided she doesn't like my cooking any more so she's now on very high quality kibble which she doesn't eat much of and good quality canned food, she turns her nose up at steak, might eat a tiny bit of chicken or beef or calf liver or salmon.
Does the dry food harm the dogs too? My vet told me to change my 3 y/o Rottie to Hills Prescription because he have kidney stones now. However they didnt say if I should choose the wet or dry. What do you suggest?
My cat only eats cat food and doesn’t like to eat anything else other than it.I feed him properly but he’s getting thinner day by day.Any suggestions on how I can make him try other foods too and make him gain weight?
I sent you a question a few weeks ago about my cat. I thought she had a hairball blockage. Turns out the vet thinks she has some kind of non-reversable condition in which the intestinal walls thicken and she's no longer able to absorb nutrients from anything she eats. She's eating and eating and I'm giving her small servings of everything from raw cut up free range chicken thighs and shrimp to canned tuna (no grain) and fish food...basically whatever she will eat. I add water to everything because she won't drink but will lap up broth in her food. I'm also administering some gel cortisone by ear (for appetite) and subcutaneous fluids every day. She's not in any pain...She gets around but no longer jumps up on things and every 2 weeks or so loses another ounce or so. She's a walking bag of bones. If you have any magic solutions to try lemmeno. Yes, I'm on your forum and will email you this also.
Two of my three cats don't like canned food or cooked chicken
She might be lacking digestive enzymes. I had a cat like that, he got skinnier and skinnier while he was eating more and more. He reversed completely with digestive enzymes
I knew it was the dry food upsetting my cats stomach. Thank you your videos.
You're welcome, happy to help.
Me too! My cat has upset stomach after eating kibble, will be switching him to wet! Thank you thank thank you!
Love your videos
Hi Dr Jones,
I am having issues with my cat. She used to eat cheap kibble and I tried to introduce her home-made food but she won't eat it; then I found Carna4 which looks to be a pretty decent baked cat food. I tried mixing cooked turkey with it or wet cat food but she won't eat. It seems to me she only likes dry food and she is prone to UTIs. What should I do? She hasn't been eating well for the past 2 weeks.
Thanks.
What do you recommend for a senior cat who loves canned food, but it now makes him throw up?
What canned food do you recommend for cats?
Can I add water to dry food? I have my new kitten on a half wet canned food and dry kibble diet and he has a fountain water bowl to promote good hydration. Also what brands should I absolutely stay away from and buy from? Thanks
I got my cat when she was 4 months old. She just turned 1 year and I can barely get her to eat wet food. She would only eat kibble when I got her and as of the past couple months she will now eat the gravy in canned food but not the meat. Thankfully she drinks water like she will never see it again. She runs away if I show her any human food and will also not eat any cat treats. She also scratches the ground around any food she doesn't like, which has got my other cat starting that behavior. Any recommendations? I would obviously like her to be healthy. Thank you.
They scratch the ground not because they don't like their food but because they would do exactly the same in nature , digging their food so to keep them Hide and eat it later so that other animal won't eat their food
Finally a guy we can trust!!❤️
My one cat will only eat raw if I mix in a little bit of kibble. So I feed him Stella and Chewy's or Primal raw and mix in 1 tablespoon of kibble. I wish I didn't have to do this, but I've tried everything else or over a year, and this is the only solution he is willing to agree to eating.
Hi!! What kind of canned cat food do you suggest? I have a 3 and 2 year old fur babies!
Hey there, have u figured out what wet food to give ur cats ?
What are your thoughts on the organic 'grain-free' dry food?
be careful!! there is some chemicals in some that can cause heart problems just really dig into research!!
I've had cats when I was a little girl that would eat ANYTHING, they would eat chips twinkies, drink coffee, I mean ANYTHING.
That's hilarious 😂😂😂
Hi Registered veterinary nurse here. I agree that the dry pet foods don't contain enough moisture but I have a question; I was taught as a VN that wet food deposits more in the mouth which contributes to dental calculus and tartar? My cat does suffer with FLUTD and I use a prescription wet diet to help manage it. My problem with raw food is the higher risk of endoparasites? Finally, I wanted to show this video to a student but felt it a bad example to allow your cat to eat the wet food out of a tin with sharp edges, near his eyes. May I suggest (which you probably do normally) that you dispense the contents of the tin onto a plate or bowl to demonstrate best practice. All the best, Georgiana
I feed my cat Fancy Feast wet cans. He doesn’t like dry food at all. My dog eats Purina half and half, it’s moist but not crunchy.
My cats love the fancy feast chicken and broth pouches. It's expensive, but they don't like the canned fancy feast.
i give my cat fancy feast too, i water it down and add a little bit of purina grain free kibble into it. that way he can be hydrated.
@@itsaaronlolz be careful because they are all full of carbohydrates - which a cat does not need
@@Durufle68 what canned wet food would u recommend? Thanks
I have way too many, so I can't afford to just buy meat and cook it for them. However, besides the kibble, they get as many cans as they will eat once a day and I cook them meat at least every other day. Chicken gizzards, boiled chicken, cooked liver, fish, sometimes hamburger, etc.-same for the dogs. I wish I could feed them meat exclusively, but I have 21 indoor hospice feral cats and feed over 100 stray cats daily. I don't eat meat myself but feed it to the animals because it's their natural diet.
Very understandable. You're doing an amazing job even if it was just kibble. I can't see myself feeding that high number of cats.
Can you do a video on raw diets for dogs please
This video is too cute!! 👍

The honest kitchen brand is great
i would be interested in what brand canned cat foods you use that you feed Murray.
Do you have any links to studies showing the benefit of dry vs wet vs raw and how they arrived at their overall conclusions?
The more you read analysis of various catfoods, the more confused you will be. From u tube videos, vet ratings, pet store workers, and reading ingredients based on what a cat should eat and should not eat, I become so discombobulated. I have to change foods because my cat has a condition. I need a food that I can afford but that will help her and feed the other three cats as well. I know wet is best but they resisting it since I changed from Friskies to what is supposed to be a higher protein with real meat and no carb food. I am on my 3rd brand and they are not overjoyed. It seems like it is going to be trial and error for some time.
As I have researched the Human diet for around 10 years I have come to a realisation that it is the gut microbiome that plays the most significance in good health and in particular a healthy immune system. Dry food given for years destroys a lot of good microbiome. Restoring a Cats diet to a more natural state will help broarden the range of microbiome present in the gut. So I give my Cats raw meat including wild rabbit the liver and kidneys their most favourite of all. Canned Sardines, Tuna & Salmon with juice. Canned Beef & Liver. A few Iams brand dry bics for heathly teeth but only about 20% overall. They have beautiful shinny coats and never is a problem picked up with annual checks. I often find raw meat People food is cheaper than Pet food due to the small quantities and unlike Pet food it has no added preservatives. Just break it down to smaller amounts and freeze it in small portions. Also I always warm Cat food to be warm to the touch. For them it will smell better and I never have leftovers as I give them smaller portions and they will come ask for more at times. Don't give them continuous food, I only feed twice a day 7am & 7pm. They need Intermitant fasting also improves gut health just like what happens in nature every day when there is no food available, keeps them trim and energetic.
Great video. What diet would be great for cats with dental problems.
Thanks- ideally a raw diet with some bones to crunch.
Hi what is the best brand canned cat food?
Another great video. My male rag doll loves dry food treats and began avoiding canned food. Well no more for him. My female Siamese she use to love canned food then when I gave her Sheba and other expensive wet food she wants me to spoon feed her & I think it’s because she watches me feed my cockatoos that way. I think she is spoiled and I don’t have time with my flock to spoon feed her. Thinks it’s a bad idea. Any advice
I have been buying fresh pet, its in a cooler at my local grocery store. The thing I don't like is that, they have all for dogs and not cats. My kittens love it. They puck it out of the kibble. I am in the process of switching them over.
Are oats good to reduce blood pressure? Thank you
So is feeding them raw chicken and raw ground meat ok? My cat will eat it, but I am nervous/unsure I am doing the right thing bc the bacteria. Her favorite is when we do fresh baked whole fish for ourselves and give her some. I also wonder if there are any veg/grains I should be adding to her diet? Just meat is ok? I figure she will catch a mole outside or eat grass outside if she needs those kinds of nutrients?
Does it say what cans he’s using are they American only
My indoor orange tabby was overweight and had symptoms of diabetes & neuropathy for about a year. But after recently switching over to wet canned food, in just about 2 months he went from 23 pounds to 12.5 pounds, and is much more active, happy and playful. He's no longer spending the entire day hiding under my bed in pain just waiting to die! However, I am a little concerned that he's loosing too much weight, so I might have to throw in an extra third can per day. I'm wondering how often I can feed him canned tuna along with his other canned food?
What canned cat food do you get him? And I hope that your orange tabby is well 🐈
If you have a skinny cat with kidney disease that is also a picky eater.. tried raw and cooked chicken in the past but she doesn’t want to eat it. I should get her more moisture, but also less protein. Tried 12 kinds of wet food for kidney cats and she’ll stop eating. She does eat the dry kidney kibble the vet gave her but can I give her a healthier option?
my kittens is crazy about raw liver! Can't get enough of it

You're welcome, Deby!
How do you cook the chicken? Just boiled? Fry? Oven? And do you add anything to the chicken when you cook them? Like salt/herb/veg etc? Just curious cause i just feed my cats mostly kibble 😥 didn't know that its not very for good for them
Yeah. Just boil or bake it without any seasoning. Cats are obligate carnivores. They survive primarily on animal protein. You may add supplements when needed.

She was diagnosed diabetic but I have her on this diet and she no longer looks sickly. I have her eating like this over 3 months now but I hope it is ok for the long term.
Hi, Yes that is good, my one thing is ensuring there is enough calcium in the diet. I would have you add in 100mg/day of calcium, plus additional fish oil
@@VeterinarySecrets Thank you for your reply. I forgot to mention that after boiling the chicken bones for 48 hrs (they are very soft by then) I blend them in my high powered mixer. This makes a thick "sauce". I give her a spoon or two of this in addition to the collagen rich bone broth. I figure it gives her extra minerals. I hope I am right. One more thing, may I substitute coconut oil for the fish oil? I hear fish oil has mercury, etc. Thanks.

I’m trying to change my cat’s diet, but he just doesn’t eat what I put down. Canned food sometimes eaten but the next day no way, tried raw chicken recipe absolutely not even touched. So is it true if they get hungry enough they will eat what’s given. It seems my cat fills up on water. Sometimes I think he has a digestive problem but the vet doesn’t seem to think so.
How do you supplement vitamins for your Murray??
I mix this with Murray's food.

My cat Rambo was born with severe esophagitis and ulcers in his stomach so he vomits everyday. I was hoping you had a suggestion on what to give my cat to eat but he’s very picky 😞
Could you do a video about solar dermatitis in cats? Any holistic ways or innovative ways to treat the chronic problems and minimise them? e.g. viral conjunctivitis, wounds that never fully heal etc.
Maybe he's not hungry.
The vet told me that in tests made (I don't know who tested) that Fancy Feast PATE is the closest to food that cats would eat if they were outdoor cats.
Barbara Davis By the way, since Petco has recently stopped having any products and foods that have anything artificial in them, they are discontinuing the regular fancy feast. However, that company has now released a different fancy feast food that doesn’t have the artificial stuff in it (found at Petco). It cost just a little more and the cats seem to like it. And it is a better quality. However, I still don’t think it’s as good as some of the other stuff out there that is organic, etc. But you might want to look for it. It seems that the pate seem to be a lot more agreeable for some cat, for some reason.
Read the ingredients and then say that again with a straight face. Fancy feast is garbage food. They even use food dyes in it. Pure crap. Having said that, I have a cat who ate that for 3 months as she went on a hunger strike and it was the only thing she would eat. My vet called it crack for cats. Thankfully she has transitioned back to raw and is a happy kitty again. I was mortified buying that for her, felt like a horrible pet parent.
@@dianaoh5705 is what I've heard from a lot of people but honestly cats seem to eat it and no digestive issues not all flavours tho just a few tried a lot of different ones but always have to come back to this one
Fancy Feast Classics is one of the best store bought food you can feed a cat. It's practically the only thing educated diabetic cat owners feed their sugar cats due to the incredibly low carbs and proper ingredients. Pates in general are better quality.
@@dede3746my cats all hate pate. Won’t touch it at all.
My cat can only eat certain food. She's allergic to dyes. She'll eat wet, but if she let's it sit a few hours, and then eats it, she gets sick. Any dry kibble has to be without dyes.
It will take forever for me to find out what my cat likes to eat
What do you think of fresh pet?
Are there any cooked cat recipes that are available
Ive been feeding my cats Science Diet cat food for many years without any problems, dry, they have sensitive stomach and skin, 11+ for older cats and others kinds, i havnt given them any wet food in a long time and they seem to be very healthy, they also have 2 water fountains, two of them love fresh shrimp thst i give them everyday, the 12 year old and my 2 year old.
Hello Dr Jones how are you ? what cat food are you feeding your cat these days ? also if you have a cat recipe to cook can you please let us know ? thanks very much !
How does one go about finding a vet that will support raw feeding?
Wow murry is a big cat!
my cats throw up the canned food or don't eat it at all. I feed my cats kibble soaked with chicken or beef broth because I am on a fixed income. Is this good?
my cat hardly ever eats wet food, she loves dry food but she regularly drinks from her water fountain...
Found out my cat has renal disease. But she is addicted to kibble. I've been trying to transition her to canned food. Vet said to give her some prescription kibble but since I only have social security as income I would have to stop eating in order to afford to feed my cat. I keep hearing how kibble is bad for her but vet is saying go ahead & feed her the kibble. I'm considering changing vets but then I'd have to pay for the expensive tests all over again. I'm getting very disheartened by all of this.
Sorry to put this all here, but I guess I just needed to vent.
What brand is the canned food?
Wellness
I have a question is it okay to feed my cat canned cat food as his diet?
