I started CBD oil on my boxer four days ago, because she could barely walk due to arthritis. She has been running around and playing today. It’s incredible.
What and where do you get it? I have a Silver Lab that’s limping pretty badly and my boxer mix is just starting with a slight limp too. It’s all confusing to me so I need recommendations to go by. 😁
I get mine from Vape shops. It’s called EcoPet. It’s made by Eco science. You can look up their site. I use the 1000 mg bacon flavored for my dog. It’s made a world of difference. I also give her glucosamine supplements to help with her hip and joints.

I love your advice! After getting my female cat spayed she started having seizures within hours of coming home. Throwing up… severe seizures. I found this video, and went to my local Sunmed store to get her some pet Cbd. I gave her a dose, and she didn’t seize for many hours. I was consistent in giving her a dose every 4-6 hrs. After a few days of success I stretched it out, and she had another seizer(less extreme though). I was afraid to wait again, so was very consistent. I noticed when days I was at work long hours she would have mild ones. Over time I was able to stretch her doses out further, and lower her Cbd dose. She has gone a few months now without needing any, and hasn’t had a seizure. Cbd, and this advice have been a blessing! Thank you

My Wife and I have two pooches and we really appreciate your informative videos. Please don't take this wrong, but, almost all of your videos have terrible audio..It's either too loud or too soft and/or varies back and forth. Many times there are parts of your dialogue that is difficult to understand. I just started giving my cat cbd she is 13 and is starting to slow down quite a bit but oh it has helped her with an abcess she got... also I am trying to keep it as clean as I can till I can get her in. She is not in pain but she actually is purring and seems okay.. I am a huge believer in natural medicine as much as possible.

My 110lb American Bulldog collapsed one morning and seized for 10mins straight. For the first 3 days following that he was unable to stand on his own. I was about to put him down & figured I'd try CBD oil. Within 2days he was able to stand on his own. Within 4days he is almost back to normal. Still has the mini seizures where the head shakes a bit. 1 dose of cbd oil stops that in less than 5mins. Too many great stories to keep ignoring this stuff. It works miracles.
What was wrong? Did the vet figure it out?
@@MissSFields The vet told me I have 2 options. I can run a bunch of tests that will cost me $400- $500 just to find out there's probably nothing I can do about it or find nothing at all. Other option is to put him on seizure meds as seizures in most dogs are idiopathic meaning they don't know the root cause. I opted to do seizure meds & cbd oil. He's doing fine now. I have an amazing vet that refuses to rip ppl off like most vets will do. & in my case, American Bulldogs only live 8-10 years so my best bet is to give him the best quality of life I can since he's already 5years old. Many times these seizures are due to bad genes that come from inbreeding of brothers & sisters in order to keep the "pure" bloodline. Mutts are usually the healthiest dogs.

Before I get to any of the details, I want to express my extreme gratitude for all the information that you have put together and put out on UA-cam and the various websites. I found your channel when I was watching on information on cancer prevention. Your channel interested me because it taught me which remedies were safe for dogs. I have done a great research on cancer prevention in humans but wasn’t sure which remedies were safe for dogs as well.
My dog Rupert (a Brussels Griffon) has been licking his bum for several months. The prescription medication that my vet was giving him wasn’t working and Rupert also developed some sort of “allergy”, inflamed ears and lost about 200-300grams (he was 5kg). In November 2018 the lump near his anal gland became hard and round (before it was soft and longer - that is what the vet told me). Anyway, in November last year the lump became hard and round with definite border. My vet said that he is worried that it may be cancer and the only way to determine if it is or not is by a biopsy. He also told me that if it shows that it is cancer, there is probably not much that they can do about it because of the location of the growth. Rupert is also 11.5 year old at that time. Rupert has been kibble for only the first six months of his life. When he came to live with us, he was eating food that I cooked for him and my other dogs Zarina and China. Shortly after that, he and the other dogs started eating raw food. Namely I feed them Red Dog dog food, which is raw meat (mostly chicken with bones and vegetables). I also add some Spirulina into all their food. So, he has been eating “healthy” as far as I know all his life and now this?
Biopsy was out of the question for two reasons. If it turned out to be negative, it would still be stress on his body when he is dealing with his other issues. If it turned out to be positive, it could potentially make it worse by being interfered with. So I searched your videos to find some remedies that I could give him. We operated under the assumption of worst case scenario and we pulled all the stops. I found your video: Cancer in Dogs: 5 Natural Remedies and implemented all five. I also watched other videos, some of them were Making Dandelion Rood Tea, Marijuana for Cancer in dogs and cats…. And others that were helpful to deal with Zarina’s gums (that is another story for later). Within a week I have implemented all five remedies in the appropriate dosages that you mention in your videos. Rupert had his checkup on Saturday and I told my vet before his exam that I have implemented natural remedies and that I am hoping that the growth will at least be the same size. I didn’t tell him which remedies and he didn’t ask. He took him to the back to give him the rectal exam and came back pretty fast; Rupert’s growth is completely gone! The vet beamed, I could tell that he was very happy about it. He said to me “keep doing what you are doing”…. . I am so happy and so grateful to you for all the work that you have done and the information you shared. Oh, I forgot to mention that I have also started giving both Rupert and Zarina the dog supplement that you sell. They both love it and I can see improvements in Zarina as well…. She is a Maltipoo and probably over 16 year old. (She is a rescues so not sure of her age but we have had her 14 years last October and she was pretty much fully grown).
I have one concern about Rupert. The waxy buildup on his tummy has also improved but he has this scab like area on his back. I was watching your video on staff infections in dogs but I am not sure if that is what it is. I have put Vitamin E oil on it and it seems to help and I will make the shampoo for him as well. I will look on your channel for other skin issues related videos. Is there one that you would recommend?

PS: Zarina has always has problems with her gum infections. Due to her age dental scaling under anesthetic is out of the question. I have had the ladies at Pampered Pets do ultrasonic scaling for her but then she developed these weird seizures where she goes all stiff. She had three so far, one in Dec/17, one in May/17 and one in Aug/17. The August one was three days after her cleaning so I strongly suspect that the stress may have contributed to it. She is a fighter so it is quite an ordeal. So no more visits to the Pampered Pets ladies but I had to do something to keep her gums clean. Again, your channel was helpful. I brush her teeth with coconut oil every morning after her breakfast. I rinse her mouth with green tea after her dinner and before bed I make paste of curcumin and coconut oil and rub it on her gums. I have also purchased the dental scaling machine but we only do a tooth at a time once a week or so, only as much as she will let me without getting stressed out. And since Rupert is on the ultimate supplement formula, she gets it too along with the flaxseed oil. She is also on a kidney support formula that I get from petwellbeing.com because in Dec/16 we found out via blood test that her kidneys are not working to full potential.

I have a large senior dog with chronic arthritis currently being treated with Deramaxx for pain and inflammation. It seems to work ok so long as she is dosed daily, but I'm concerned about organ damage from constant nsaid use and have been considering trying CBD. Hi... I have a cat I believe is suffering from hyperethesia.We cannot touch his back. He had attacked my hand once and i was in the hospital for 4 days from infection. He latched onto my finger and wouldn't let go. Teeth punctured right through my knuckle,joint and tendon. If something even remotely touches a certain area he literally latches on to whatever is near him and and flips out on it biting it and himself. He almost got my dog and all cat did was lay down next to him and his backside rubbed against my dog. I've had him to the vets with no resolve. He is also very big (as in fat) he weighs 26pounds and is 11yrs old. Do you think this is an alternative that may work on him?

My vet suggested CBD oil for our little terrier mix who freaks out during rain and thunderstorms. We bought that and were amazed that it worked the FIRST night! Now she gets 12 drops on food each evening. It helps her sleep and calms her. Try it!

Doctor, Can you use cannabis oil on skin and eye melanoma for your dog?.. My dog is 16 he was having skin issues and lost complete sight in one eye.. His blind eye is alway dry. I have been giving my dog CBD for a couple of years now for anxiety and it has helped her so much! It appears that she has Cushing's Disease, she will be tested in a few days. Maybe that's what has been causing her anxiety? Any suggestions for natural treatment of Cushing's? I hope they don't suggest some kind of chemo drug.

Sounds like your bird got high from the oil, I thought that element was removed from the oil.
I have a general question on cbd for when I cut my dogs nails, she becomes very aggressive when cutting/filing her nails. I think it may have been due to past trauma when my mum cut it when she was half a year old and cut too far in. Would this stuff work for her to calm her down? The only ever time we were successful in doing so was when we put her in and they had to get her to sleep so she doesnt bite or trash around so she doesnt get hurt. I dont want to have to pay every time we need her nails cut and cbd will calm her down for the day so it sounds like a win-win for us and my lil pooch but want some other opinion or an experienced person to confirm

came down with FIC, and IBM..has separated lower discs in her spine..and so much arthritis..
the latter 2 as a result from a fall from a 2rd story balcony in 2007-
the vets, after xrays and asessments..(I had to say no to ultrasound as I am low income)..finding all this out..intitiated a series of cartrophen injections..1/week...then 1/ month..
during this I have started her on a very high dose of cbd oil.....as the gabapentin..i didn't like how she responded to it
the use of the cbd oil seems to have really brought her back...do you think I can stop the cartrophen injections now?
they are so expensive.

My dog is very anxious. I have a 12 yr old mini dachshund whose separation anxiety/frustration barking I've been battling for a few months. I'm moving to an apartment (currently in a duplex) in a few months and I'm terrified that I'll get noise complaints. I've been talking to the vet and we might try a different medication to see if it'll help. If anyone has more suggestions I'd love to hear them.

Dr. Jones, what are your thoughts on using CBD oil in dogs that have Pancreatitis, like my dog currently. He has been struggling with it for a solid month now, due to the fact that he was given Doxycycline that brought on pancreatitis. I've been using 150 mg from Holistapet for three months. We have two dogs 3lbs 4lbs he has seizures she is 15. It has helped them both his seizures have cut way back as well as last 4-5 seconds. For her she's like a puppy again. I tried a very popular one after looking up top 10 CBD oils for dog's their products did nothing.
I have tried to find one called Science something our vet said it was the best in her opinion however can be very expensive.
We pay about $26 but again it's 150mg then goes 175-225-275-350-400-600 cost up to $100.00 for 2/two onces.
I would like to know his recommendations I thought he would say or list in the below section.
I have tried two different brands. The first one is made by Blue Moon Hemp and sold by CBD Plus. It is 250mg and costs $32 for a one ounce bottle. It seemed to work ok for pain. The one I like better and have been giving for pain for one dog and for seizures for another dog is made by Satavet. It is 500mg in a two ounce bottle. It has two different active molecules, CBD and CBG. It costs $69.
Dr. Jones, My 5 pound Chihuahua survived pancretitis in January, had Gallstone surgery 4 weeks later, I'm concerned the oil could bring on pancretitis again. She is on Royal Canin low fat food. Her ALP and ALT is still elevated, so on 7 days of antibiotics once a week for 3 months and Urisodol daily incase the duct might have sludge after the GB Surgery. Could the CBD oil cause a flare up of pancretitis? Thank you.
Good question, and there is no real research on this. I think that as you are given such a small amount to the benefit if the CBD far outweighs the risk of pancreatitis.

Hello! I have a 6 year old mini pinscher. He had two seizures in november, and is now on a phenobarbital treatment. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with glaucoma in January and lost sight in both eyes. His left eye is not responding very well to his glaucoma treatment. Would CBD help in any ways?
I've been using organic cold pressed unrefined castor oil (DO NOT USE REGULAR CASTOR OIL!) for my dog, whose cornea went blue. I was during a round of steroids. In just one month, her cornea is clearing. One drop in her eye every evening at bedtime. (Have patience with this process--it's worth it.) It's good for humans too--treats dry eyes and cataracts. Dr Jones, perhaps do a video on this type of castor oil, as it has many benefits in the body. Thank you.

Hey doc I'm torn I don't know to use CBD or hemp oil for my dog So I found myself getting the ham oil and then mixing in like 6 or 7 drops of CBD on top of that then I've been adding licorice drops on top of that there's something wrong with her but I can't figure it out I've taken her to the vet twice to the tune of $700 a week to find out nothing she is bloated I'm just like I don't know what to do at 1st she wasn't eating and didn't want to drink or exercise But with this mixture I found that sometimes she does want to exercise and and usually after I mean immediately you still want to eat you shall want to eat and has a ravenous appetite which I'm trying to control a little bit and cut back because she's on the chubby side to begin with Set it could be pancreatitis and prescribe an antibiotic and an anti nausea medicine to no Avail actually Like this vet was incompetent due to the not following up and after my 2nd visit reading the reviews I was so disheartened now I'm on my own because it's put me in kind of a financial bind and I can't afford to take her to another vet so I've been trying to treat it myself I don'treat it myself I don't think she has bloat but I don't know I was thinking A parasite Problem gone mad but I do have other dogs and I do live on a farm and and there are many animals here that I'm sure I'm not healthy and could have got something from them I just don't know Research I found that it might also be Cushing's disease?
