i was probably one of the 1st 100 people using ACES with a Killshot on a Buick 455. Yes the product today is way better than in the beginning, i am talking about the SW mainly. Since i work in Automation technology i know form experience that SW is the main thing, and it will improve over time... so i was never concerned Since the HW is solid!! ( if you have issues with the HW thats another story) now i have done 1 Killshot and 2 Jackpot (LS) builds with ACEs and 2 more jackpots are about to be finished. The product is solid and at the price point not to beat. Always know what do you expect from the system and also know the limitations and you will be happy.
The prices on Aces efi kits are great. They have all kinds of kits for everyone’s needs. My next build I’m definitely going to try them out. Thanks Nick.
I had been looking at Aces for my dads 85 Mustang GT resto with a mild 5.0 and hidden turbo to keep the stock appearance under hood, glad to see some real world startups from somebody that just tossed it on and then went to the instructions like a lot of us do 😂
I’ve been looking at the aces efi for my Ls swap. Really thinking about trying them out. That 7in screen is a really nice option. I don’t have any experience with aftermarket fuel injection just oem.
I am putting their cast intake setup on a SBC soon, kind of excited to see how it goes. They sent us one to test hoping we will start selling them. They promise a huge amount compared to the price so I have my doubts but I am giving it a fair shot for sure. Gonna dyno a carburetor against a Sniper then against Aces MPFI and I plan to basically use all 3 how they come out of the box with no tuning to see how they do for the average customer that is clueless about tuning. It's going to be tough since I am a tuner and can't imagine just trusting the wizard setup. This video seems promising though.

Once u go efi u realize why all manufacturers made the carb obsolete. Even tanks n aviation from ww1 were experimenting with mechanical fuel injection for a reason. Bendix fuel injection is one example.
What is the aces kit you have called ? How tall is the intake from the block to top of throttle body ? My throttle body rubs under my cowl hood,on my 1970 chevelle. I have a GM performance Ram jet 502 . I`m looking to have some kind of feedback and tuning capabilities. I was also thinking i could try one of their TBI units. I will see how yours ends up running. Seems like alot of bang for the buck.

When crank your voltage was dropping, it doesn't like low voltage, there is also a video on UA-cam to lockout the distributor so the ecu controls it

I did the ace killshot over the course of a week afterwork so like 20hrs of work, just hook a laptop and check timing it commands to much timing 15:56

It’s the joker kit! But it’s the sheet metal square port intake they sell also it’s very low profile and has tons of clearance
