1986 Mercedes 300E W124 Purchase Vanity Mirror Repair

The Vanity mirror would Pop out.
Discovered that the Vinyl Shrunk after 36 years causing the Vanity mirror to pop out of its mounting location.
I cut the vinyl strips and used Silicone to Secure the Vanity Mirror Permanently into the Sun Visor.
Maybe using Silicone to secure the Vanity Mirror is OVERKILL.
I don't need it to fall out at the worst possible time.

Going to try this out! It's been driving my wild not having my sun visors fold all the way up to the ceiling.
I might lubricate around the insert where it touches the vinyl to hopefully eliminate the creaking

It was the only stuff I had available at the time. The super glue may work also. @@FolkRoots
