That was a lot of work. Thanks for making and sharing this video. Kudos to your effort to fix it. I went the easy route. Inserted 2 zip ties inside the “swivel arm” part of the visor, used a binder clip to create traction, and the visor is staying in place pretty good
Hello my friend, that's excellent idea, I couldn't find any other thing to use as clamp, but blinder clip is strong enough to clamp the Visor if so that's very good, thank you and all the best.
Use 2 double screws. The kind of screw that one side is a female screw and they screw into each other. Then, drill the holes below the recieving bar. the screws should tighten around that bar enough to provide the original friction. See 'Civic sun visor fix for about $5'.
If it's very stiff try to spray little bit dw40 inside the movement joint, some of them hard to reach but try it could solve the problem fast solution , otherwise you need to deassemble it.
I never buy from dealers anything that are very expensive and more expensive than most suppliers, the best option is aliexpress, Amazon, eBay, rockauto.com, Always good deal and fast shipping and lowest prices , thank you so much and all the best 👍
