- how to replace the horrible headliner on the 94-95 mercedes e class
got tired of the that glue getting all over the place so just decide to do the job myself
this is not a hard job just takes a few hours to complete
the headliner is almost like raincoat material very heavy and will not go back in place correctly after removing it ..so just be prepared to remove all the glue and choose new headliner material
sorry the video could not be longer but hope this gives anyone a helping hand tryin to do this job

Did I miss it, how do you get the headliner out of the car, must one remove the front seats, recline them?
The headliner is in the shape of an H
u take the rear part down first pull back towards the rear window.. and allow it to drop down
Its tricky to then maneuver it out the back doors u choose left side or right it’s up to you ..but the ends can bend slightly enough to get it out ..
U can put the front seat down all the way also ..try anything to make it easier.. to come out.
Remember be gentle because it can break off completely if handled roughly..
It will only come out and go in this way/technique..
Btw what is that fabric and where did you get it? looks
Oh that was a old flag my mom had,From back in the 2000’s… months later I replaced this with some fabric from a local fabric store.. unfortunately the glue I used didn’t work well once the summer hit and the inside of the car was constantly over 100 degrees ..
@@piscatawaymechanic so how did you fix that? can yo use liquid cement or something ultra strong bond?
Whats wrong with u guys.Through which way u take the headliner out?.You have not even covered important works like removing rear view mirror.We know to remove sun visors arm rests and all tell through which way to take out the headliner
