Removing Dash Cluster so I can Send out the Speedometer for Repair.

1986 W124 Mercedes developed a problem. The Speedometer Needle is Pegged at 160 MPH. In Reverse it drops back to Zero. Any Ideas????

The 1986 W124 Mercedes had a problem with the 25 Amp Blower Motor Fuse. It was Melting into the Plastic Housing. Mercedes has a Retrofit External 30 Amp fuse Harness to relocate the Blower Motor Fuse OUTSIDE the Fuse Box.

Had to Travel from Newark Airport back to Hackensack, NJ. I avoided the Turnpike Tolls by using 21 North then 20 North then Route 4 East to Hackensack. I speeded up the home movie to 8 minutes so no one falls asleep watching a road trip.

Removal and Installation of Dash Cluster to Install Outside Digital Temperature unit.

Ordered a New Replacement LCD display glass online. The process to change out the Defective LCD glass with a new Replacement glass was very straight forward.

Had to travel from River Edge, New Jersey to Newark Airport. I avoided the Turnpike Tolls by using Route 4 Route West, Then 20 South then 21 South to Newark Airport. Trip took 45 minutes to get there. I speeded up the home movie to 15 minutes so you don't fall asleep watching a road trip. I drove through NEW Terminal A Departure and Arrival Sections.

1986 300e Mercedes Needed New Ball Joints at 53,000 miles and 37 years of USE. The Front End Started to Squeak. I used AUTO ZONE Balll Joint Installer and Removal Tools They are Loaner Tools. I did Not show every Step of the Process.

If you change One Ball Joint it is Good Practice to change the other side. The Ball Joints were last Changed 8 years ago as a pair.
