Thanks for this rare live, color performance of Bobby's beautiful love song. I've loved Bobby Darin's songs since his career started and I love them now. I regret that he was taken from us too soon and so young at 37.
Thank you. Always loved Bobby Darin, he put so much into his singing, gave it all. So much talent in just one man. Actor, singer, writer, impersonation, played just about every musical instrument you can imagine. Also he was in the Mensa organization as he had an extremely high IQ!
I can’t imagine Bobby Darin being booed off the stage….obviously an audience who could not recognize a once in a lifetime talent What Bobby Darin will always be.
Bobby performed this song on American Bandstand sometime around 1967. Perhaps Bobby's American Bandstand performance will eventually show up on UA-cam. There's a short interview with Dick Clark that follows afterwards.
