Keep practicing guys, focus on getting the feel of it, and the motion rather than getting bigger jumps. Practice slow, and fast and see how different it gets. Try to feel the bike "bumping" against and that will help you generate air. Have fun!
This tutorial was nice, But i always see people explain it weirdly. Here is how i do it. 1. Before you approach a jump. First you need to pre-load. Pre-loading is just compressing your suspensions. Rear + Front / Front (Hardtails.) 2. The motion is very important, Its like bunnyhop! You push your weight completly back (Like a manual) and once the front comes a bit up. Now the part people get confused on. When your body position is near the rear tire and the front wheel is up in the air. Just jump up! Straighten your legs and pull with ur pedals like a bunny. (Its good to know how to bunny hop, Even the smallest bunnyhop will do the trick. Its all about the technique) 3. Now that you pre-loaded (Compressed both / front suspension) And you swing your body to the rear wheel (Weight back) And leveled yourself with your feet / pedals. You should start working on speed. I suggest starting to practice on a table jump since you can practice your speed on there and trust me. Small table jumps cases dosen't really hurt or damage your bike. Good luck reader! You got this its really simple trust me!
As a man in his years, I never thought that I would be taking instruction from a young kid. You do an excellent job of explaining yourself without over analyzing it.can't wait to try it. And also buying a portable kicker ramp. Well done, kid. Keep them videos rolling. 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words, I hope you're having fun practicing with a kicker ramp, I just posted the 2nd part of this video series. Hope it gives more tips :) ua-cam.com/video/t-KC9X_tJvI/v-deo.html
I’m definitely going to try this approach. But the main take away here is that always be humble and open to learning something no matter from who. Great job young man. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I'm not very good at this myself, but I guess that is one that "I know what to do" but don't do it. Maybe try to get better at it and document it.
