  • For those who don't know, I am a weight class above him (and I'm heavier than usual from all the eating on vacation). There were several times I gassed out in between these 2x 5 minute rounds where Alex took it easy and moved around a bit to let me breath before letting those nastyyyy hands on me! So much respect to him.🙏

      once again. jeff is in there with a pro. doesnt throw a single head kick.
      he spars with guys who come in for fitness and not fighting. jeff throws non stop head kicks. after he knocks them down he says it was accident and that guy escalated it so its his fault.

      Jason, Alex didn't go hard on Jeff. Alex is clearly the better inside fighter as you could see, and still he didn't throw his best shots. Jeff, being the taller and better distance fighting style, could keep up with the guy, that's the most important thing. Alex is really good, he isn't the #5th ranked fighter in the world for nothing. Above all; he is a great sparring partner, I didn't catch him a single moment with hard sparring shots. That's what makes a great partner! Jeff told us too that he got tired after a while, while Alex clearly wasn't going all out. So no, he probably wouldn't finish him, but yes, Jeff is reaaaaally good!!

    • @erikbritz8095
      @erikbritz8095 2 роки тому

      Jason you need to glove up and spar a few amateur fighters in your area just to get taught that the differences in each skill level really depict how a legit fight would turn out, i feel like a God sparring guys who have been training 1 to 8 years then i move to my Pro coach and he dances around me and i remember that there is levels to this. Respect to Jeff he has come so far and in my opinion is so close to UFC level but he is just below that level for now, hoping to see him there in a year or two cause i can see him learning so fast. 😎

    Dudes tough. From my experience leg setups to leg kicks are one of the biggest annoyances. His thighs gonna feel sore tomorrow 😩

    You are doing great! The big difference I noticed was just the micro movements you both did in between shots: he get his body tight and moved it all together while everything was a bit looser for you and moving a lot more. I feel like that difference contributed to you gassing out before him since you were moving in so many different parts, because let's face it, you have great conditioning.

      @@MMAShreddedit was very enjoyable to watch. 2:48 was super impressive and a technique not utilised enough in MMA.

    He could’ve done a smaller bigger fighter explanation bc he reacted well to the jab and had great ways to counter your height but ur long legs and jab also kept him on the outside
