Behind the scenes footage of Leon "Rocky" Edwards with Head Coach Dave Lovell, BJJ Coach Dani Khalid, Striking Coach Henry Cleminson, and Striking coach and sparring partner Nathan Epps in the final stages of training camp for the Nate Diaz fight.
In the session Leon is drilling some sequences, going over all areas, with some work on back control, rear naked choke finishes angle change drills on the pads, and changing range quickly from long to short to land his elbows.
Leon got out a few weeks early to acclimatise to the Arizona dry air and heat, as well as the time difference. We used the fight ready gym, home to Henry Cejudo, to get the last few work outs in before fight week. - Спорт
I think he actually is the best striker in the UFC
I did not know Edward's gym was that awesome....great gym great trainer's....🤙🤘👍💪
Respect to you! 😄🙏
Bro if I saw Leon Edwards hitting pads as a visitor in my gym I'd skip bjj that day
😂😄🙏
😂😂💯
Exactly what I was thinking watching this, can’t believe non of them even turned their heads
I was just looking at ufc on reddit and saw so much shit talking about Leon. Ya, he's a bit inactive for a champ no doubt, but dude can fight. He is a nasty mofo
love seeing stuff like this wish i saw more of this from fighters
Thank you! Leon has some great coaches around him 😄🙏
You are so right....that's some great footage that everybody needs to see.
@@ChampCampMMA 😄🙏
Finally found where mma che gets his footage from
Let's go. Man he hits hard. I know y'all have fun holding pads, lol
Nah he doesnt
The one on usman was a precision shot man doesnt hit hard its indicated in his recors
Leon actually broke Henry's hand once holding pads 😂😂 it was the Dos Anjos fight and Leon kicked when Henry said knee haha. Bad times 🤣. Thanks for commenting! 😄🙏
By far the best striker in the MMA. I train Muay Thai at a MMA gym and one thing I never understood is why MMA fighters don't focus more on striking technique. 95% of the pro fighters don't look that good when hitting the pads even though they're winning fights.
One of the best physiques in the business , beast of an athlete

Damn!
Nearly had a hair cut 🤣
It's weirld that Leon is training behind the super begginners.
And also why is the attitude of the purple belt guy is so arrogant though he is not a black belt?
