I like how he said it in a way where you might question if what he meant was Terran and Protoss are mechanically more similar than Zerg. But us Brood War fans all know what he meant lmao.
@@aaronp2542 I'm pretty sure that is exactly what he meant. Both Terran and Protoss have buildings to produce army units, and you can queue up to 5 workers in production or army units. The hatcheries with larva make Zerg the outlier. What else could he have meant?
Just some feedback for you Tasteless: I love when you 'react' to videos about things you were a part of. Like, you were there, at ground zero, while it was happening. It gives an inside look at the thing; behind the scenes. I prefer watching your reaction to the video over watching the original video, itself. Keep it up, my man.
Hi tasteless. i love watching videos like this where you react to the older sc, sc2, esports history things. you’ve been involved for many years so it’s great to see your perspective. thanks.
Oh yeah I remember when Flash started playing random. The news was huge we were discussing it with my friends even in the sc2 scene lol, great video as always tasteless!
Insane run ! The level of based-ness from Flash is just insane ! He's one step ahead of the other pros (although ro4 onwards is very hard to break through). Thanks for another great vid Nick !!
The one thing I don't like about Akshon's video is it does not explain the depth of the brilliance of Flash's preparation and strategic thinking. As an example, in the ZvZ against Larva, it isn't just amazing that he knew a strat that only the best zergs in the world knew. The sunken rush was even more effective than a usual ZvZ precisely because Flash was playing as random and rolled zerg. He planned and practiced this in advance, with all the details figured out down to precise sunken placements.
I am pretty sure the attending crowd was not crazy, but you still called them that. Maybe another time please give us some other details as well. Like how sane they were? Something nice. Then the crazy parts! :)
Yeah, I remember that was the unspoken rule for years. I would always tell my opponent what race I got, and I would expect the same, because otherwise it isn't fair.
@@Dziaji I play random and I tell them my race every time. I dont expect it from others. But if I lose im probably not going to GG and call them a skillless loser race... theres alwasy give and take in the universe lol
@Dziaji no I'm trashing them because I lost though lol not because they didn't tell me their race. By the end of the match I will have forgotten it was a random that didn't tell me.. so yea they will be random and I lose and still call them a skilless loser race. But you know what... if I said it.. then I stand by my call lol
Faker & T1 have been performing to a top level in the World for the majority of a decade now... but he has not been the best definite player in League's history for year upon year upon year upon year. He had his stint, he still is an insanely good player, but there are better players and transformed from individually the best player to the greatest of team/knowledge players there is. I think the only player akin to Flash would be Happy from Wc3 - similarly consistently top 1-2 in so many events over years
What specifically was the rule with playing random? I understand the league forced you to lockin your race. I always wondered how a tournament would fare where people had to play more than one race. Like a best of 5 where you have to win once as each race, kinda how blizzard did hearthstone.
well, BW ASL just wants you to choose one for the tournament, just that nobody has ever seriously chose Random. Since that is a legitimate choice from the drop-down.
Imagine Faker taking a different position every game during a tournament (top, jungle, mid, bot or support) at random and still make top 3! Oh and you've dominated the game for over 10 years. Yeah Faker isn't even close to the God of Starcraft himself.
Very kind of Artosis to not let all of us down by wasting an opportunity to say Protoss ez lol
If he doesn't say it, someone might not know it, and then his ego would be DESTROYED when he loses to a B rank protoss.
@@Dziaji At first Ive read "if he doesn't say it nobody knows it's him" lol
@@markmuller7962 that's probably true as well. LOL

I really dig this type of content. Its like a director commentary for casters. Literally IRL anime
Yeah i lked this sort of content from Tasteful
Artosis calmly explaining... suddenly: "FUCK THIS GAME". HAHA. great

12:23 One of the best moments in esport history
Flash should come back and become the greatest protoss.
"oh it's just so fantastic" when Artosis sees all those creeps... LOL
Haha, the shot of artisis and the massive number of neutral units is perfect.
Cant wait to have FlaSh back, just to see the fear in the other players eyes again :D Great content btw,

I thought that Artosis soundbite was part of the video for a second.

If he comes back to ASL with random I will be so stoked!
That was my favourite season of ASL

Zerg , Flash , i like 🌹
Flash please come back 🥺
I'm loving this type of content
Flash is an anime protagonist. He got hit by truck-kun in his world and was isekai'd to our world.
It looks like Arty's hair started going grey
No matter how much Snow smurfs Artosis he will always remember that he was bested by Flash in PvP 🤭
I think Flash's objective will be to win 4 SSL's in a row and defeat SoulKey in the process.
He should play random and tell his oppoent what race he is at the start of the game lol

Should we tell Tasteless that it's not ASHkon esports, but AKShon esports? He's messed it up more than a few times now but I chuckle every time
Which tournament was this? Can anyone send me a link? It was before I got into SC and I'm very interested in watching, thx

I like your reason for picking protoss

Is this all this channel is? Content you could create from your toilet. No real effort. Hope this will change in the future.
If you actually looked into the channel, you can see he also does streams, gameplay, and casting
...don't watch then?
There's no minimum amount of extra editing or cuts required to make a video. Stop being weird.
Effort and good videos don't go hand in hand.
Its the information and personality people are here for.
Terran and Protos are the same tasteless talk to arty 🥲
