I remember watching this series in a college auditorium at like 2am as Bisu turned everything I thought I knew about PvZ upside-down

History should be known. Someone will make a 4 hour documentary eventually.

I was there watching you on my GomTv player when they stuck you in the corner of that studio. It was typically 3 or 4 in the morning when the stream started locally and I was working overnights alone in an office. You were my company, Nick. Thanks for that.

06-07, no protoss beated sAviOr and Bisu was rookie at that time and his odds of winning were only 2.69%. This final will remain the game changer PvZ forever. corsair/dark templar

The most significant series in the history of the game. An up and coming star taking down the uncontested strongest player at the time. A complete inversion of a matchup, taking it from Zerg dominance to Protoss dominance in a matter of hours. And it sent sAviOr to the shadow realm, which contributed to him turning to match fixing as he was no longer the best player.
And the matchfixing scandal was revealed years after this, in 2010.

Imagine being that handsome and talented. Looks like a metrosexual Bruce Lee.

The match fixing scandal was exposed in 2010 and Savior had fallen off shortly after this MSL. Like Moletrap mentioned there were a few matches that were confirmed to be fixed.

So Bisu was a champion of SCBW as early as in 2006 at the age of 17? That is SERIOUSLY IMPRESSIVE!

These History videos are amazing! Not that many people know about all of that and your input is incredible!

It's crazy how the zerg had no sim city. Just 2 sunks at the front, so easy to run by or to surround

Heard that losing this series got Savior demoted to B team and he lost the ace player salary which drove him to match fixing 🤔

Speculations. Also, he was at the peak of his skill back then so there is no way you would find more than one or two players who can match him.

Korea is smart about gambling. It's a really nasty habit that drains your wealth away. I know people who lost everything to the habit, it's worse than alcoholism IMO.

Gambling addiction is terrible- but alcohol addiction is objectively worse. It is a chemical addiction that rots your brain and liver. Withdrawal can be fatal. As awful as gambling addiction is, it does not create permanent physical damage to your body and brain. Alcohol and opiates are class 1 addictive poisons

I'm sad the game has been so figured out. You don't get these tooth-and-nail games anymore. Games are decided so early and even by small moves before the opponents see each other. Once someone is behind it's over.

Stop stealing other peoples content and make your own. Your original content is better anyway.

How is him talking over a 2006 MSL finals and providing historical context stealing content? I would like more analysis of old games and discussion about evolution of the metagame.

A StarCraft announcer discussing a past StarCraft match isn’t stealing content

If you're adding your own commentary on top with actual new information with new insights that bring about better knowledge for the viewer it becomes more informative in nature and not just the usual react content. Anyways, regardless of what it is, this is still more transformative and insightful than just taking someone's video and reuploading. That would be stealing in a sense.

While I agree that I dislike some of the reaction content, this one is very useful, and as such I have no problem with it.

Uh, do you know who this guy is? Who Tasteless is? Saying he is stealing content is hilarious. This is a guy who lives and breathes Starcraft Korea. He's commenting on Starcraft history here. How about you don't make stupid accusations.
