People forget how young, and inexperienced, of a team Alabama was at the beginning of the season. The coaching staff did a great job of improving them as the season went on.
@@doubler7911Need to find new starters at CB though. I have a feeling Kool Aid and Arnold are both gone with the seasons they’ve had, especially if Bama wins it all.
People minimizing how good UGA is and has been over this streak and the B2B titles are doing Bama a disservice. UGA is and will continue to be a top 5 program for as long as Kirby is here. We are uber proud of this team. UGA couldnt possibly win every single game for ever. Congrats to Bama and Go Dawgs.
As a bama fan, I appreciate that comment. UGA is a monster, and y’all will be our greatest rival for a while to come, bc our two programs are the top dogs. I appreciate it when 2 heavyweights duke it out and leave it all on the field like what happened in the game and happens every time we play. Great season yall, and I’ll be pulling for y’all to humble FSU.
As a Bama fan I agree but unfortunately for you all I've heard the past 2 years is how it's Georgia's time now and nobody can beat them and Sabans old and the student has become the master and Alabamas defense was because of Kirby Smart and all this nonsense a lot of yall GA fans have been spewing. It's been nauseating and obnoxious. Maybe the next time yall beat Bama and take the throne you'll learn to do so gracefully and with respect. Now you all just look like fools.
Eerily similar to 2021. Coming off a rough Iron Bowl with a last minute win. Nobody thought Alabama could beat UGA. This isn't Sabans best team, but it's his best coaching job.
@@Howbouthemdawgs Georgia fans really are a different kind of dumb. Claimed for 2 years that injuries don’t effect a game yet now want to say that there’s a conspiracy with Saban paying refs.
If Milroe can continue to improve in reading coverage and in his accuracy on intermediate passes, Bama will be very tough to stop. Lots of good talent behind him too.

Georgia alum here... I predicted Alabama to win the national title preseason, but then I backed off my prediction after watching Milroe the first 3-4 games. But it appears they are finding their stride late in the season which matters most. I did not have a good feeling heading into the SECCG, but how the game turned out was NOT how I thought it would play out. To win, I thought Milroe needed to play his best game but Georgia kept him check most of the night with very avg numbers. What did play out the way I thought it would was the line of scrimmage. Alabama just has "different" players on both sides of the ball and they took control of the LOS for most of the game. This being said, there is a little bit of luck that goes into winning a national title. Alabama needed it the week prior to escape with a win at Jordan Hare and they took advantage of uncharacteristic unforced errors by Georgia in the SECCG (false start/missed FG & turnovers) - things that Georgia has kept to a minimum all year long. Those 2 things were the actual difference in the game. I'm pulling for Alabama the rest of the way because I felt that the SECCG was the defacto national championship game. I hope Alabama beats the brakes off Michigan and Harbaugh like we did 2 years ago. However, this is NOT the Alabama teams of old. They are beatable, but I am pulling for them to win it all. Go SEC!!!!
Jalen and the WR’s affected themselves more than Georgia did. - 7 Drops with 2 being TD drops. - Jalen is the best QB in CFB on Passes 20+ Yards and he threw his worst one on the season to Burton who cooked his DB for 5 Years that ended up being incomplete. - He missed 5 Wide Open Players for TD’s by not noticing them Open and threw elsewhere. - And then 4 Dropped interceptions with 2 being likely Pick 6’s I could keep going.
@@Rageousssyeah and then UGA missed a FG, gifted a fumble to Bama for an easy FG, didn’t review the dropped pass on 4th down that led to a TD, and played in a shell besides the first drive and the last drive when they tried to actually pass. My best friend since 3rd grade is a Gators fan and he roots for Bama when his team is down since I am a Bama fan, but I still think that the Gators are the missing link to making the SEC just a more competitive atmosphere for College football in general. I hope the Gators get things figured out soon for the 12 team playoff system because they have made pretty good moves on the Defensive Coordinator. This Gators team is also playing one hell of a 2024 schedule. If they get their stuff together then the SEC will be undisputedly the best Conference for high caliber and elite games.
I can’t fathom why Florida isn’t a top 10 team every year. It has been a big brand since the 90s, has plenty of money and fan support, and a coach can’t leave the house without stepping on a 5* recruit. I’ve heard the facilities have fallen behind a bit, but still, it has all the tools.
This has been a really fun year watching Alabama it can only end with them holding up that trophy in January. This team and staff has worked really hard. ROLLTIDE!! RESPECT TO GEORGIA
Alabama deserved to win the game. They were the better team on both lines of scrimmage and made fewer mistakes than Georgia did. Georgia made more self inflicted mistakes in a single game Saturday than I’ve seen them make in a single game since 2019 vs South Carolina and when you do that against a team as good as Alabama you’re gonna pay for it. Did the refs make some bad calls that hurt UGA? Yes. Did Mims being out and Bowers and McConkey clearly not fully healthy hurt UGA? Yes. But that’s how football works sometimes and UGA just simply didn’t capitalize on opportunities as well as Bama did and that’s why they lost. The run was gonna end eventually but it was truly magical. 3peating was always gonna be difficult and UGA will ultimately fall slightly short of it, but I’m proud of the resiliency UGA showed in the 4th quarter, they made Bama have to play a full 60 minutes and they did. GG to Bama, for as much as Kirby has accomplished over the past few years, there’s no doubt Saban is the greatest coach in history. Good luck in the playoff. Go Dawgs.
I totally agree but that bowers and McConkey not being healthy can’t do it because 2 years ago no Georgia fan alive would let bama use that excuse 🤷🏾♂️
Good sportsmanship ! Completely agree with your statement, and after having felt what it was like to lose without key players 2 years ago, I understand how y’all feel about Bowers and McConkey both being limited by injuries. Hope y’all win handily in your bowl game ! Go Dawgs/SEC ! RTR
ALA did not deserve the TD before halftime. The one stain on the game was the 4th down "catch". ground aided the catch. would have been an easy review. And I'm an ALA fan.
The 4th down "catch" wasn't. And as usual, refs miss ALA face mask. The "catch" was significant: at the worst GA would have been down 10-7 at halftime; or maybe GA ties game w FG or takes lead w TD. And I'm an ALA fan. That would have been an easy review and GA would have the ball w plenty of time and good field position.
I am more proud of this Alabama team I believe more than any other most of the other teams were probably more talented but this team has fought back when most everyone said they were done and a great coaching job by Nick Saban and the rest of the staff ROLL TIDE 🐘
Whats crazy is that caleb downs was good at the beginning this year probably one of our best defensive players he’s gotten so much better of the course of the season and i think now caleb is our best defensive player
Well ive been wanting to see keon keeley because dallas and will were very very good as freshmen but he didnt do the early enrollment and that put him behind in knowing his assignments and what to do but in the playoffs id tell keon see qb get qb simple as that
one of the best coaching improvements I’ve been able to see at Bama when it comes to beginning of the season to the end , almost like a Jake coker story early in the season loss , QB troubles , wins the natty
I was in agreement with you earlier in the season about the assistant coaches seeming to fail on the job. I join you now in admitting I was wrong about them. I hope Saban wins the "Coach of the Year," and his staff wins awards as well, for the way Bama kept improving and improving until they've become the best in college football.
Before the season, I knew the ND transfer QB wasn't up to the job, and after a few series neither was the other QB. So benching Milroe seemed like a boneheaded move. Supposedly, getting benched lit a fire under Milroe, but I still say he needed as many snaps as possible.
Great game from two of the best teams in the country. As an Alabama fan I can say UGA is 100% one of the 4 best teams in college football. There's no other team I'd feel worse about playing than them. Hats off to Kirby and the UGA team, we'll very likely see UGA twice next year and the potential for three times with the 12 team playoff coming. ROLL TIDE!!!
Ifs. Just think, if ALA has both receivers for the NC game, ALA probably wins like they did in the SEC champ. If Ohio St gains a few more yards on their last drive, OSU makes a shorter FG, instead of attempting a 50-yarder, then TCU wins the NC. haha.
yeah but you could say the same for a lot of big games. The Texas bama national championship with McCoy getting hurt, and then the first 2 alabama vs clemson championship games had injury riddled defenses@@jky3889

Agreed, Josh. This is the best coaching job Coach Saban has done during his tenure at Alabama. It's impressive. Moreover, Alabama isn't as talented top-to-bottom as they were last year.
@@nylontusk1289Yeah, but in 2020 Bama had one of the best offenses to ever step on a college football field, and enough defensive talent to overcome Pete Golding’s coaching. This year, Saban had to build an offense around an inexperienced QB without 2 Heisman-level WRs, 2 NFL RBs, and arguably the best OL ever at Bama. And he and Steele have the defense playing fast and aggressive again like they really haven’t done since 2017 (outside of a few games here and there). Still a way to go on both sides of the ball, but the improvement during this season is very impressive.

Safe to say the same things that have hurt UGA all year hurt UGA again yesterday. Everette gets burned every game. Probably should look at some CBs in the portal this year if possible. Especially with Lassiter’s exit for the NFL. Running Backs weren’t very explosive. Could that be due to injuries on the Oline? Oline’s been banged up all year and so have the RBs. Are the RBs just not that good? Defense couldn’t stop zone read and runs on the edge. Plagued us once again. Way too slow on the edge. Jones jr. And Chamblis are two of the slowest OLB I’ve ever seen 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ We’ve been vanilla all season with play calls and then tried to get cute in the biggest game. Carson says we practiced it but it sure as hell didn’t look like it. Bobo’s always had trouble in big games… probably why UGA never won a title before Monken. Not too sure he’s the answer. He’s not necessarily to blame fully either but he’s definitely a step back. Monken would’ve won that game. I’m pretty certain about it too. Defense couldn’t tackle behind the LOS. Same problem we had all year. We get back there but don’t finish. Milroe got loose and made some plays. Freshman in key spots made freshman mistakes and it hurt us. The way I try to look at it is like this…. Last year we could’ve lost the SECCG and gone to CFP. This year there were just too many teams. It sucks. If we would’ve lost earlier in the year this wouldn’t have been that bad. It just so happens our loss came when it mattered most. That’s always tough. Good thing there’s 12 next year. I don’t see this program being outside of the top 12… for a VERY long time All that to say congrats Gumps. You’re the best program in history for a reason. Guess we gotta run it back next September.
UGA made mistakes, got blasted at the LOS, Bobo ran into a 10 man box multiple times and UGA fumbled on their own 15 and missed a FG. Bama didnt play that great and still won. No idea what Kirby can do any differently , but Saban owns him until otherwise noted. Good game Bama.
@@neb2772 The Dawgs went right down the field on the first drive and then stopped doing what was working again. Bama was loading the box and we still tried to run it. I will say if Bowers and Ladd were healthy it would've been different. I thought both teams played great. UGA ain't going anywhere. Hell man Smart is young. I don't see him leaving any time soon. Saban is more business like in how he talks with players, and while he is respected he isn't loved like Smart is at UGA. I truly believe that Smart will surpass Sabans coaching. Hell man going into the fourth Smart said "let's go have fun"...whereas Saban would've been raising some hell!
Not saying Bama will win it all, but Bama is back and this is the best overall Team we have had in several years. Milroe in 2024 will be hard to handle along with Bond, Benson, Niblack, and the stable of running backs.
Georgia hiring Mike Bobo again cost them against Bama. They certainly dealt with injuries throughout the season but the Bobo offense ruined Georgia during the Richt years, and for some reason they invite him back.

Jalen Milroe is the best chance Bama has to win. But that o-line is the MVP of that team. He holds the ball too long and his decision making is atrocious. But he doesn’t give the ball up and is athletic. UGA played him perfectly but that o-line was just out of this world.
I love how UGA wins the natty and even Pate said “if they were healthy it would’ve been interesting game” Mention how bama was banged up and never mentioned how banged up UGA was…interesting.
Bama is doing what they've done every year that they weren't expected to contend. But I think the committee got it wrong by leaving UGA out. Remember the last time UGA lost to Bama in the SEC title game? They played Bama for the Natty and won. I'm not saying that would have happened this year, but UGA had a narrow loss to a much improved Tide team. Either way, congratulations to Bama and Coach Saban. There will be more Kirby/UGA vs Saban/Bama in the future. These two programs are almost lock ins to be in the playoff under the 12 team expansion. The way these programs are built, I don't see them being outside of the top 10, let alone 12.
I believe in a few years after most of the defensive players are on NFL rosters, we will look back at this defensive unit and say it was one of the best rosters Saban ever had. They may not live up to their potential every single game but looking at these players all on the same team just blows my mind.
Anyone that understands Football and isn't a Bama Hater knows Alabama should have blown Georgia out by at least 21+ Points. Alabama utterly **DOMINATED** Georgia in every aspect of that Game while playing one, if not the Worst Game of the Year as a entire Collective.
You weren't wrong about the coaching at first. Every fan I know could have told Tommy Rees he needed to have a game plan for Milroe that much more resembled what would suit Jalen Hurts than what would suit Tom Brady. Yet Tommy had him trying to be a pocket passer. If we all knew it Tommy certainly should have known it. To his credit he finally came around.
He’s still using him as a pocket passer. Only difference is Milroe has gotten better pocket presence and learned when to take off and they also use him in the running game now
@@j.akelly9775 Yep. He still doesn't use Milroe's legs, or move the pocket, or give him third field reads enough to suit me or most people I know but to his credit he's done it enough to win.
@@hackermusic3355 you don’t see him doing a lot of rollouts or moving the pocket because that’s not what Milroe is good at. He’s at his best (throwing) when he can stand in the pocket and deliver. Also, he’s still a pretty young quarterback and isn’t completely comfortable coming off his first read, much less second or third. He’ll get better with experience but right now they’re leaving the reads pretty simple.
@@j.akelly9775 He would have been plenty good enough to run the old as time play of a FB or TE in the flat and a WR on a sideline behind him with a running threat QB forcing that LB to a decision. We have done it a few times but not much and none early on.
It was a boneheaded move to bench Milroe. QB claims benching lit a fire under him or something akin to that, but he needed as many snaps as possible this year. I knew before the season that the ND transfer wasn't up to the job, and after just a couple of series it was painfully obvious that neither backup was going to win a NC.
I love how he talks about difference makers at receiver as the video of the pass that was “complete” aired. Clearly showing the ball not only touched the ground but shifted as well. This call could have turned the game around for UGA because it was a scoring drive. But regardless UGA did not play their best.
Both teams are young and will be better next year. I think a missed fg and a turnover in fg territory would ultimately be why uga loss if they score both drives then Alabama is behind trying to score a game winner.
I think the UGA had the better roster, but Nick Saban proved why he is the best coach and outclassed Kirby. In a one game scenario, gameplan and coaching matters more, and Saban dominated. Very interested to see what happens when it goes to 12. Hypothetically these teams could play 3 times which I think favors UGA. In 4, UGA will always lose in a one game scenario because gameplan matters so heavily for that one game, but in 12 it becomes more like the NBA of a potential 3 games which could favor the better team and UGA
@@Bama-SportsGuyExactly. Someone compiled the data on this a few years ago, and found that Bama’s opponents were flagged for offensive holding fewer than any other team’s opponents in the country by a wide margin. This was true for every year over about a 10-year period. And during most of this time, Bama’s defense totally overmatched most opposing offensive lines, and we regularly saw our DLs having their jersey collars or armholes pulled down to their waists, or being tackled from behind. It was almost like they were just trying to give the other teams a chance.
Bama def had the better roster, best blue chip ratio in CFB history. UGA had just been utilizing their players better throughout the season and Saban found a way to utilize his talent towards the end. Both great teams though, and I think that was the national championship game
Yeah uga is pretty good but let’s not compare their schedules the past 2 years. I honestly don’t think they would’ve sniffed 29 in a row if they played in the SEC west. That said, it’s about to get a lot harder for them next year. So it remains to be seen

Milroe wasn't exactly "benched" according to Saban. Coach said, at that point in a rough start to the season, it was "time to try the other guy." Evidently the coaching staff felt Soth Florida was a safe team to "try the other guy" against, but the lukewarm performances of the "other guys" almost backfired when combined with mistakes by other players and questionable assistant coaching. Building the team play around Milroe's strengths and elimanting other mistakes became the plan after that embarrassing game. Glad it worked out so well.

UGA and Bama will be great next year and the next year and the next year, unless Saban retires maybe. And unlike this year both will be in the playoffs, unlike this year.
Bama was just way better at every position, including coaching, and it wasn't even close. Kirby needs to take a good look at his team and program and make some serious changes if he wants to contend next year (Bobo isn't the guy and never will be). Milroe is just a different beast and has grown so much this year whereas Beck is just another average at best game manager QB that UGA loves to have for whatever reason. They'll need better QB play and way better WRs if they ever want to win another Natty. Good job Bama, better luck next time Dawgs.
Late Kick Josh I promise to God if I lie I go to hell that right before he ripped off that big run late I told my best friend Bama should pull the ball with milroe have him QB run and just be MILROE. Next play he rips run for 40 yards and the rest is history. He made generations cry and I loved it.

- And then 4 Dropped interceptions with 2 being likely Pick 6’s
I could keep going.

Three actually. The fumble recovery was a UGA transfer as well.
Have to disagree never see UGA beating Bama by multiple TDs in this particular game. The team that was by far better on the line of scrimmages was Bama
Without the 4th down "catch", GA gets the ball and maybe ties the game or takes the lead w TD (especially if Bowers had been healthy). And with Bowers and McConkey not injured, GA probably wins by multiple scores, if not multiple TDs.

No excuses from this Dawg fan, including the refs. The refs missed a few calls for Bama just like they did Georgia, because all the refs across the country are just pretty bad at their job. Don’t false start on a field goal and don’t fumble the ball inside the 20 on a stupid reverse play that never should have been called. We got pushed around for 4 quarters which I haven’t seen from a Kirby Smart team in a long time. These Disney Dawgs and the refs, man…

Bama deserves to be in. For UGA to lose 1 game in 2 years by 3 points and not be top 4 is crazy.
Amazing win, but Milroe didn’t play his best throwing the ball. The offense could be even better than they were
Bama also dropped 3 interceptions.

Yes, coaching staff has stepped up. Shout out to Proctor (freshman), left offensive tackle, he has improved as much as Milroe has!
He held 400x in one game
Jalen Milroe is the best chance Bama has to win. But that o-line is the MVP of that team. He holds the ball too long and his decision making is atrocious. But he doesn’t give the ball up and is athletic. UGA played him perfectly but that o-line was just out of this world.
I love how UGA wins the natty and even Pate said “if they were healthy it would’ve been interesting game”
Mention how bama was banged up and never mentioned how banged up UGA was…interesting.

Josh a good saying older than you that is always true. " It's easier to start or break a streak than it is to defend one "

I agree with everything you said. Great Vlog 🎉🎉
People are mad at the wrong teams. Texas took FSU's #3 place and Bama won Georgia's #4 spot. Misplaced "anger" which is all disingenuous anyway.
Michigan cheated and their schedule is no better than FSU’s.
So I have it on good authority that Milroe wasn’t benched week 3 for Texas, he was suspended for violating team rules.
I love how he talks about difference makers at receiver as the video of the pass that was “complete” aired. Clearly showing the ball not only touched the ground but shifted as well. This call could have turned the game around for UGA because it was a scoring drive. But regardless UGA did not play their best.
Neither did Alabama. Quit blaming the refs
The refs are Bama refs always. You always play Bama and the Refs
Bama is obviously the better team. Bama was in control the whole game. Roll Tide
@@bluemarlin8138 you perfectly describe what your piece of shit line does every play

Alabama has 30 SEC championships, 11 in modern era but still 30 in books
Milroe wasn't exactly "benched" according to Saban. Coach said, at that point in a rough start to the season, it was "time to try the other guy." Evidently the coaching staff felt Soth Florida was a safe team to "try the other guy" against, but the lukewarm performances of the "other guys" almost backfired when combined with mistakes by other players and questionable assistant coaching. Building the team play around Milroe's strengths and elimanting other mistakes became the plan after that embarrassing game. Glad it worked out so well.
No disrespect but this definitely isn't the most talented Alabama team. Even with that said this Bama team has a ton of fight and they find a way to get the win late in the game.

I agree Saban is the GOAT but you are dumber than half the inbreds in Alabama if you think the refs didn’t make more than a 3 point difference in this game. Sure, Bama won in the trenches. Georgia was also out-coached. But you take away 4th down dropped ball, nonexistent Horse collar, and throw a flag on the missed face mask and Georgia literally wins.
