SEC Championship Alabama vs Georgia. Underdog Alabama finishes strong. Milroe runs for multiple 1st downs to seal the game. The Crimson Tide are 2023 SEC Champs
I had a bad feeling Alabama was going to win. Everyone looks at records in the playoffs, and I look at who's got momentum going for them at the time. As a GA fan, hats off to Alabama. You guys earned it.
@@nicholasiezzi9790 Actually, I think Texas should be in there also. Really the best four, in my opinion would be Georgia/Alabama (1a/1b), Texas, and Washington. Michigan’s strength of schedule is almost as bad as FSU’s.
Early in the year when people were complaining about Jalen Milroe as the QB after the loss to Texas, a reporter asked Saban what he thought about Jalen Milroe. Saban's first words were: "I love the guy. He works hard." I knew then we had a damn good QB. And that "the team" just needed to grow a little bit & find some confidence in each other. Roll Tide Roll!!!
Sad saban retired but he beat lsu auburn and Georgia in his final yr. None can ever get revenge wins on saban. He goes out leaving 3 huge rivals as losers to him. That is sweet
Hard to deny that. Although there wasn’t a championship, that alone with his overall resume is why he rode of into the sunset. He went out without a drop off. The team may not have won it all, but they remained title contenders by reaching the playoffs. That was year in and year out.
I used to feel so bad for LSU. Saban had them on a leash. They knew they were Bama’s bitch and it was nothing they could do about it. I never subscribed to the notion that Saban ran Urban out of the SEC; I think the end of Urban’s collegiate career solidified that. However, I do think Saban is solely responsible for Les Miles’ demise at LSU. Getting shutout in your state in the national championship then failing to avenge that humiliation with home field advantage (Bryant Denny West) seemed to be where he loss his mojo. Although his offense was basic, he always seemed to coach not to lose against Saban after that (no “mad hatter” calls, which is what gave him that name). I knew when he came into Tuscaloosa undefeated in 2015 that Bama would dominate as they did. That was another humiliating loss in my opinion. It was humbling. Their Heisman front runner gets shut down (also due to predictable playcalling) while Bama’s Heisman hopeful takes over the race was like rubbing it in their face.
Bama was the last team to beat Georgia 2 years ago and the first team to beat them after 2 years! I had hope but 😅I just knew nobody but Bama could pull something off like this
The posts I've seen on Facebook from Georgia fans are all blaming the refs. It'd be nice if Bama could win one game without people trying to use that excuse. It's sad
No one cared that Tennessee had so many calls going its way last year in Knoxville. Should never have allowed those easy passing TD's is what I said. You either win or you lose. It's really that simple. LSU, Tennessee and Auburn fans are the worst ref blamers I've ever seen.
Law of averages caught up with Georgia. Georgia's 29 straight wins. Losing will happen sooner or later, it's inevitable. I knew Georgia wouldn't threepeat, despite all the hype by ESPN, and the media. We were supposed to threepeat in 2013, and the kick 6 got us.
Putting aside that we missed a couple of field goals and turned over the ball on an unforced error on our own ten yard line, we did it to ourselves. Many of the losses to Bama were just us not playing to our potential. In spite of all the complaints, as a Dawg fan it didn't hurt one bit that Saban ended his career with a win against us. He was such a positive influence on the game and deserves a great retirement.
You could be looking at the foundation of a repeat going on here. Yes I realize we have to finish the job for this season. But we 'Bama fans know how the guys play when they're told they don't deserve to be somewhere. They get kind of pissy and nasty and they play really well! And being as this is a young team with closeness brought on by all the adversity they had to overcome this year to get where they are now. If the majority of the team returns along with Milroe next year. The college football world's going to be pretty unhappy for another season. And we all know how much joy that brings 🎄😀🥳!
What’s crazy is Georgia fans are crying about the team not being healthy in this game . Georgia beat Alabama for its first national championship with Alabama not having its top receivers
It's mildly humorous in a "shut the hell up" kind of way when injuries "cause THEM to lose" but when we're playing hobbled all you hear is "it's supposed to be next man up, you lost because you're so terrible."
@@PhilGarrett-et3fzyea the only reason we feel like we have an actual reason to use that excuse we literally lost our top receivers vs Georgia in both games and out number 3 was iffy

As an Alabama fan, l told everyone when they lost to Texas when we didn't even know who our QB would be, we were running the table !!!!!!! Alabama out bullied, Georgia fact!!!!
