Ann plays the flute on the Heart songs Crazy On You, Sing Child, Dreamboat Annie (Reprise), Love Alive and Hey Darlin Darlin’. These were all songs from albums released prior to 1982. She is credited for playing the flute on some later live albums but specific songs are not mentioned.
There's a great live version of their song "Straight On" from 1978. Other Heart songs "Never" What About Love" "Nothing At All" ,"Who Will You Run To" "These Dreams" which is sung by Nancy Wilson .. Another song that Ann did which is a duet she did with Mike Reno of the band "Loverboy" was done back in the 1980's for the movie "Footloose" There is no live version of the two singing it together but their is a live version of her and Kenny Loggins singing it...They also have done amazing covers of Zeppelin songs such as "Kashmir" "Black Dog" "The Battle Of Evermore" and "Rock and Roll"..There is a very good live version of "Rock and Roll" from about 77 or 78 posted by the Fisher Brothers..All these songs are here on UA-cam..
Saw Ann and her tour band a couple of years ago (don't know if the same players, but I think the guitar/keys guy was one of them). They played a lot of Heart stuff, a couple of covers (Led Zep comes to mind, crushed them), and original Ann tunes. They came out hard, and it went up from there. Flawless. Blew the roof off the joint. Missed Nancy's acoustic and her backup vocals. Ann and Nancy had broken up, I think due to some sort of altercation between Ann's husband and Nancy's son while on tour, I'm happy to see Ann and Nancy are now back together again and touring as Heart. They complete each other. The sibling connection is magic, as in another female sibling band I can think of. 🤘😎♥⚡
Ann wrote this song during covid. I have this cd. Ann was 70 here. You should listen to her sing Dream On by Aerosmith. I like when she plays here flute. She played flute in high-school i think she was second string. FYI I have Ann and Nancy's book. She's still number 1. You're the first reactor thst ive seen thst has done a now Ann Wilson.

Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull often plays the flute and you should see him perform with it. I suggest Locomotives Breath and Aqualung live.
And Bouree!
❤ANN❤ has brought so much joy into my life through her music...I will be forever grateful

I also saw Ann perform with Tripsitter in late '23. She still puts on a full show at full volume and rocks the house like a boss!

Sounds like some cool pagan/ Celtic /viking bands in Europe.
