to repeat what I, and others have been saying for at least 45yrs, Anne is one of - if not the best- female voices in the rock world. While this particular video refers to the honor deservedly bestowed to one of the progenitor bands of the heavy metal idiom, it'd be remiss to not mention the legacy of Heart since the Wilson sisters joined in the early 70's. I grew up listening to both, and watching Jimmy, Robert and John Paul watch their most over played masterpiece so majestically re-imagined left me simply verklempt. Had to watch it at least twice tonight to fact check my emotional reaction. Yup, still there.

Ann and Nancy came from Washington State. Their story is similar to The Beatles. The Beatles had to go to Hamburg Germany to get noticed back home. Heart had to go to Vancouver Canada to get noticed. They said Vancouver was their second home. Well we in the Great White North say Thank you Heart for all the great memories!
The look on Jimmy Page's face throughout this says all that needs to be said.

The expression on Jimmy, Robert and John Paul's faces made me think that for the first time in almost 50 years they may have experienced the same joy listening to this song that we have had every single time it was played or performed. As a huge Heart fan, this by far and away is their greatest performance. Ann and Nancy are like fine wine, they continue to get better with age. It still gives me chills every time I see and listen to it.

First time seeing this. I remember as a kid back in the 70s watching a Barry Manilow concert on tv, and I saw women in the audience weeping. I asked my mom why they were crying, as I couldn't understand the reasoning behind it. I kind of thought it was funny. My mom told me that I would understand when I got older. Well, I'm 53 now, and I understand.

I cannot watch this without tearing up. Knowing that the members of Led Zeppelin had such a great reaction to this performance just warm's my heart. Ann hit it out of the ballpark. Hands down, she is the greatest female rock vocalist EVER! Jason Bonham was the icing on the cake. Awesome job done by everybody!

Really enjoyed your video/reaction/comments. Of course, the performance probably as close to perfect as can be done. Enjoyed seeing Bonnie Raitt, Yo Yo Ma, and Debbie Allen really rocking in the audience. And the end, seeing Jason Bonham honoring the three surviving members of Led Zeppelin- wonderful. Flawless cover. One of the stand-outs to me is the way Ann Wilson COMMANDED that stage at the end of the song....all these talented players giving it their all, but Ann was in charge. Epic voice.

One of the often overlooked things about this performance is the bowler hats. That is a tribute to John Bonham. What a performance!
I love this video so much. Apart from Ann and Nancy being brilliant, that look that Jason gives heavenward is almost heartbreaking. As a matter of interest, that orange plexi Ludwig drum kit is the actual kit that Jason's dad, John, used on the recording of the original "Stairway to Heaven". RIP Bonzo, a true legend and still much missed.
Robert Plant had said he hated to perform this song , and this performance was so amazing , to see the members moved , is mind blowing , be proud Ann Wilson , your vocals are second to NONE
I'm 68 years old, born 1951. I saw Led Zeppelin in 1970. Every time I watch this, I get so emotional. The one thing that pisses me off is how people forget the amazing talent of Nancy Wilson. Nancy is an amazing guitarist and vocalist.

One of my favorite cut shots was Yo-Yo Ma groovin 'on the vibe. He has been into many, many types of music in his career which is admirable. You are so right when you speak about the passage of time. I am 67 years old and I swear it feels lie such a short time ago I was 25.

I found out that the guitarist is a personal friend and musician from the 70's as well. Shane Fontaine. He did a phenomenal job. Not everyone can pull it off and I think he was phenomenal. Add in Jason (John Bonham's son) and John's drum kit and the bowler hats which are tribute to late great John as well. I've watched this countless times and I still get overly emotional. They slayed it.

When I see videos like this, I feel like finally meeting people who share the same passion for Led Zeppelin . People don't realize that being a fan of Zeppelin (though in millions) in the 70s was sort of an underground thing. Most of the media did not know the band existed...by design, the band rarely gave radio and tv interviews then...and so Zeppelin had a mystique about them. Thank you Kristin Kali for making a 59 year old man cry while watching your video.

I think it's a magnificent version. So do the tens of thousands of people who gave the video a thumbs up. But more improtant than any of that, those three men up in the box (and the spirit of the fourth) thought it was magnificent. The love, pride, joy, and sense of awe on those faces said everything. The band Heart are American legends. Probably the first really successful hard rock female band that I could remember from the seventies. They do other covers. Try the "cover" of the Who's Love Reign over me". Just fantastic. ( 2007 tour)

The drummer is Jason Bonham son of the late great John Bonham the original Zepp drummer. I saw Jason playin drums on Nimmy Page's solo tour back in the mid eighties. All around this was special for a lot of different reasons for a lot of different people. Peace Kristin🎸🎤🎵
