Outstanding performance by probably the best rock female vocalist ever.
My most favourite singer. A voice that is ageless, timeless, a little smokey, with loads of passion. She feels the music and feels every word she sings. That is what I call artistry. The best of the best, of the best. p.s. she is stunningly beautiful, truly gorgeous.

Live! That was live! No autotune. No second attempts. And a "lullaby" version indeed. How old is she here!? Ridiculous the power of her voice. Her vocals have this power to draw from her heart and soul and resonate the lyrics in just the perfect manner. Christ... She is a goddess of music. The covers I've seen of this song all fall short... Except for Kelly Clarkson who came very close to killing it.
It's called a real live autotune. Her voice a little bit enhanced here and she's struggling to pull it out.

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. I'm a boy of the 80s, so this song is a crucial part of my childhood. I am a huge fan of Heart all around - 70s, 80s, 90s, etc. - but these songs hold a special place in my heart (no pun intended). I don't generally enjoy "slowed-down" versions of popular rock songs, but this is beautiful. I saw Heart in 2010 and it has gone down as one of THE best live shows I've ever seen.

Stewart McDonald The Media completely over hype the likes of Taylor Swift and many others!! When Heart were at their commercial peak the bastards in the Media chose to focus more on was Ann's weight rather than praise her incredible vocal performances!! The woman is an absolute Legend!!!

Sometimes fate hangs in the balance because there is no way of getting a message through. "The love I'm sending ain't making it through to your heart." And just when a glimmer of hope for communication presents itself, you are foiled by a technological issue, like a message going to a hidden folder that the recipient is unaware of. Communication breakdown, it's always the same!
Ann Wilson has remarkable vocal range, and the way she's able to texturize in the higher register is astounding. It should be noted that this was originally recorded by Holly Woods and Toronto a few years earlier but never released. There is a youtube posting of the unmastered recording for the curious. Loved Holly and the band back in the day and saw them many times. Heart was a favorite, never saw them, but bought many of their albums, as well.

It is but a select few that can keep singing in the same keys they do in their youth as they age. As we can see with Ann here she is singing this out of the original key F (dmin). So she sings alot of the melody in harmony that is lower than her original vocal melody on the recording. Which is smarter than playing the song 3 or 4 steps lower than the original key.
And she does it so eloquently I might add plus this guitar solo is just butter lol…

all the songs on heart's 1985 album are INCREDIBLE. let shitney houston and jacko and madonna and prince say their mid 1980s music was not that great. heart was THEE best music of the entire 1980s.
Doesn't get any better than this. Ann talks in her sweet voice. Ann is interviewed telling her fans tidbits of news. Ann keeps looking so beautiful being the sexy lady she is. And, she sings with her angelic voice. Thank you my lovely lady. Keep on a rocken.

Love this performance..... caught my first concert a couple years ago , sat front row and just let the music flow through me. Utterly amazed as one song blended to another .
Her voice took me back to a time when I was a farm boy in the north . Am radio in the 70's was incredible but , nothing compared to the opening riff of barracuda and Ann belting perfection.

Love the original aingle apart from the last minute or so when it goes off the boil in my eyes , instead of the anthemic ending it just fizzles away bit this version with Ann's raspy vocals and the bluey's ending is just fantastic in my ears anyway.
