Man after knowing what I know, seeing Tyr’s reaction when he saw the prophecy thingy in Groa’s shrine and seeing how Groa lied to Odin.. makes so much sense.
Having followed ProZD for years, hearing him as Ratatoskr is such a strange feeling because I can always recognize it’s him regardless of what accent he does
Seeing Kratos at the light of Alfheim, I got teary-eyed. Despite knowing what happened to him before, he almost went into the light again cuz he heard his wife. And that look he had and the tone of his voice when Atreus said she's gone, that was heart breaking.
I love the scen with Kratos hearing his wife's singing again and being mesmerized so much that he would go into the light again. And autreus seeing his stone cold father so moved
It's so strange seeing kratos with that much emotion in his face and body. It's a nice change tho, although it's parted with grief and pain. It's also endearing to me, he loves that woman. So much that he would follow her into the light. Into death.
I love how when Kratos first met Ratatoskr's physical being, he's just so baffled by a kid sized squirrel climbing all over him and messing with everything in his pockets that he can't even react accordingly. [14:32]
11:20 it's hilarious that jack mentions that he's never seen kratos eat, cos i noticed how awkward kratos is holding the bowl when they all sit down. not to mention, he's using a knife a how you would use a fork. he even looks at the sausages suspiciously before eating them. lol i love kratos
actually that's a really nice historical touch, before the days of the Enlightenment, people used knives the same way we use forks now. It wasn't until after the pope of the time declared that knives were weapons of war and shouldn't be used at the table that forks were adopted instead, also yes im a turbo nerd how could you tell :p
It's interesting to think that I first knew of ProZD as some guy who makes funny skits, and now he's doing professional voice acting for such a legendary series.
If Jack didn’t figure out he had to move, the entire 2-hour video would be the group having breakfast and chatting Also, kratos’ goofy aah stance had me dying
Me too. If you see Mimir as a kind of allegory for disability, then Kratos being quietly considerate of his comfort and including him in activities is showing how to be a good ally. Mimir isn’t resented for what he can’t do, he’s valued for what he can, and no family dinner would be complete without him!
As soon as I realized that was ProZD I got so happy, good for him especially with a game with this magnitude and importance. He’s really climbing up the ladder!
@@surimonizarro9791 if twitter hates something then there's a 98% chance it's for a dumbass reason. so in conclusion, their opinion doesn't matter at all since prozd is an amazing dude

41:46 I'm glad Jack acknowledged the sound that the sonic arrows make. When I first heard them while playing ragnarok for the first time, I immediately thought, "Oh Jack is definitely gonna love these sounds. They sound so chunky and cool"
1:10:31 I love the little lessons Atreus gets while he’s with Kratos and Tyr. He’s standing next to two gods of war, both telling him that war is never black and white. “IS there a right side?” Is probably the most significant question to ask when going to war, and the fact that Tyr AND Kratos acknowledge it after their lifetimes of violence is true wisdom. I thoroughly enjoy this aspect of the game so far. Atreus is becoming a man, and he’s going to face difficult things. War being one of them. I’m reminded of the adage “putting an old head on young shoulders”, and can see it here. Love it
Me too. Sometimes some glitches/bugs are great for a good laugh.🤣 I was like: Kratos: "Týr if I could move my arm I would crack your head like a coconut". Týr: "But you can't. And you are so stupid that you don't remember that you still have an other arm".

Kratos was just a windows PC which ran into an error. His two settings are fighting and talking, he was not prepared for talking squirrel plays Dora the Explorer with his personal belongings.
There's something so primally satisfying about those three minutes of conversation and watching them all eat their food. I don't understand why, but, I love it! It's weirdly comforting! That fucking cut scene with the hand glitch... I have not laughed so much so hard for so long! I was dying over here, and I had to play that specific part back a few times! Absolutely hilarious!
Scenes like that are always strangely satisfying. A few games that did it super well are mass effect, dragon age, and outbid no where final fantasy 15. All of these games purposely take time to allow you to bind and spend quality time with the characters that make up your team. Some of the best moments in what I consider writing in games was scenes like this. Especially the BioWare games have genuinely amazing characters who they make you care about.
Knowing what we know now after watching through this whole series, that Groa scene hits way different. "We know something Odin doesnt!!"............think again Laddie
What's really blowing my mind is the fact that Kratos not only keeps a journal, but also says "thank you"!! Much like his son, he is still learning and growing. 💜
When Kratos walked into frame like that at 1:28:33 I literally couldn’t breathe I was laughing so hard 😭 I started coughing like crazy afterwards too, oooh god 😂

Mimir and Kratos have come a long way in their friendship. It's nice to see the subtle things Kratos does with Mimir's head like turning it around at the breakfast table 9:35 so Mimir can see everyone. Old Kratos probably wouldn't even bother and just leave him somewhere hanging and staring at a wall.
I have no idea why, but the cutscene where everyone is sitting around and eating together was probably my favorite moment in the game so far. Seeing Kratos finally have equals, or at least those who he respects enough to dine with, is just so touching somehow. Plus the little animations of each of the characters. It really makes you feel like you're sitting down with them, dining with them and part of the conversation. I loved every second of it. Almost as much as how I loved Kratos wanting a high five for an entire scene.
