    Hey you made the best push pole that I have found to get help with. Thank you for the great video and looking forward to seeing more good informative/ helpful videos. Tim in MI. I’m finishing up customizing a 16 ft Jon boat and starting to make a platform in the front of the boat.

    I think I’ll stagger the dowels so that there is no weak point in the center. I have a question though. Will it be too buoyant? Do the factory made poles have weep holes?

      I agree, cut 2 feet off of the dowel so the joints are staggered. It also don't think it needs to be 16 feet long but that's a personal choice.
