Seems like you were trying to keep the vibe friendly not asking the dev his opinions on pay to win microtransactions... which is everything wrong with DLC. Even if I were a fan of CoD, frankly I don't really care if the developers get paid for DLC if the DLC is shitty to begin with. I'm not trying to be hostile, but it seems to me you give yearly CoD games a pass on issues that GameSack has complained about with other games. Even diehard fans that I've spoken to don't like where the series has gone, yet they still buy the games and don't play the single player at all. Maybe the new WWII game will be great, but then I bet ironically Dave might not like it.
That's exactly what we made fun of in the ending skit. If you look at my supply drop, the words "Insufficient Funds" appear. He paid more, so he got a better drop and thus won the battle.
Game Sack what is your PO box so I can send you a game that you wanted to review, and for people to send you hidden gems? Other channels take donations of games.
I'm a die hard CoD fan and i like the direction the series is going, i bought almost every CoD. Loot drops provide increased incentive to play for some, like me, for example. Call of Duty is expensive, it's three games in one package, how many other games are like that? With game like this paid DLCs and some microtransactions are inevitable. It is also essential to keep the online running and populated. Ever heard of silent majority? For every vocal "die-hard fan" there is a hundred people who simply love the game, play it and stay silent. It is obvious that you can't satisfy everyone, you just can't, it is also obvious that with title as big as CoD there will always be die-hard fans who are disappointed with the way things are. But if the game sells well, is popular and there is many people online, then they are still doing the right thing.
I'm a game developer, and Game Sack is my #1 favorite show on UA-cam! Joe and Dave changed my life; I would never have bought my beloved copy of GreenDog without them! Joe and Dave, you two are amazing; thank you so much!

Great Episode, I feel like the comments here just solidify how polarizing these games are. I always appreciate how you cover both modern and retro games with no bias towards either one. Cool to see you get some recognition from the industry too!

17:09 Ok, so something I'm noticing here. I used to be *big* into video game fishing games. Yea yea yea, I know, I liked to fish, and I found them fun. Especially since a major lake 15-20 minutes from my house tends to be in the older ones. Anyways, some of the bird calls at around 17:09 till the intermission are straight ripped from the games. A lot of the things people hated about Zelda II include how cryptic it was in explaining what to do next, and the severe difficulty spikes leading to the penultimate and final dungeons. The path leading to the Great Palace was a gauntlet filled with enemies and death traps which would drink the limited lives you had.
With a positive take on Call of Duty, I'm surprised this video doesn't have more downvotes. Either Game Sack's viewers are very level-headed or Dave convinced haters they were hating for no good reason.
I have said for a long time that COD gets far too much more shit than it deserves. I havent played infinity warfare, but all the other ones were good enough for anyone. Would I prefer other games to get more attention? yes of course, starting from Shadow warrior 2. Do I believe that the CODS I have played are great? absolutely.
I have no problem with the idea/mechanics of CoD as a game/series, what bothers me is the completely phoned-in SP campaigns, the continual releases and the ludicrous amount of DLC. I remember loving the Call of Duty 2 campaign, I haven't felt that way about a CoD game since, though "World at War" had a pretty decent campaign. The series is a poster-child for the scummiest practices of the modern gaming industry.
I absolutely LOVE Knuckles Chaotix. The music is FANTASTIC and I got used to the rubber band mechanic pretty fast. Still have and play it to this very day.
Deadly Premonition is one of my favorite games of all time, but the PC version crashes so much, it badly needs some kind of fix to totally prevent it. I wouldn't call it a "survival horror", so much as a sort of open-world adventure/mystery/survival horror mix with a lot of comedy? It's hard to describe, but it's very unique. I love the setting, the mixture of comedy and horror, and the interaction with the townspeople. I even made a video where I went into detail about what I like about the game so much.
I think if Zelda II was instead named "Elf Champion" or something, and didn't talk about Gannon, and used original enemies instead of Octoroks, etc., it would have received much more love and generated a bigger fan-base, becoming a classic in its own right. It's biggest disadvantage is its name.
It's not really better than Battle of Olympus or Faxanadu, though, and while people never complain about those games, it seems like Zelda 2 is still much more popular.
Good point! Haven't played Battle of Olympus, but Faxanadu is also one of my favorites. Still, I think the controls and action in Zelda II is a bit more smooth and fluid. Faxanadu's gameplay always felt a little stiff for me.
I agree. It would likely be more highly thought of if it wasn't part of the Zelda franchise. Link's Awakening for the Gameboy is essentially what Zelda 2 should have been.
I have this account here and Game Sack is the only subscription in it. And there are millions of channels. I simply like your humor and the show structure. Most games you show i find completely useless and without fun, but still i like the show and they could even be 1 hour i would watch it.
LOL are you guys mad they took a jab at you at 24:08? "The Game Chasers" flashes across the screen when they mention the music being decent enough for other UA-cam channels to rip-off.
doesn't surprise me that developers like you guys' stuff. you are literally the only gaming show on youtube that i make a point to watch every single episode of, whether the topic is initially interesting to me or not, cause i always know it'll be a quality show regardless and you guys always make it interesting and entertaining. keep up the great work! i just hope i never have to suffer through another game sack hiatus. that was a very dark time for the world. (;
I like Knuckles Chaotix, it's one of the more interesting games in the Sonic franchise. Plus as a kid it was nice to not fight over who got to be player 1.
My problem with Call of Duty in general is it's basically the Madden of first-person shooters. They just churn them out every year, and until they went all sci-fi with the series, there wasn't much to differentiate each game. In regards to Star Fox Adventures, I didn't mind that it wasn't a traditional Star Fox game. My problem is that it just wasn't that good of a game in general. It's pretty, but as a Zelda clone, it's subpar. As I was playing, I was constantly on the fence trying to decide whether I liked it or not, and it was the out-of-nowhere true villain that pushed me on the side of "not good". I feel like had Nintendo not convinced Rare to shoehorn Star Fox into Dinosaur Planet, more effort could've been made in making the game better. 22:07 That's because you ran into the encounter on a path. Paths have no encounters, and in fact it's a strategy to leap back onto the path before an encounter gets you so you can avoid fighting anything. Anyway, I'm one of those people that like Zelda 2. It IS very flawed, what with the brutal Game Overs and the brutal difficulty at times. Though, the loss of experience at a Game Over doesn't bother me as much, since the game at least saves your level-ups. Really, I think it's cool that we had this platformer where you could level up your stats and learn spells and stuff. I wouldn't have minded seeing the idea get refined in another game. Chrono Cross is a game I dislike, not because it's too different from Chrono Trigger (I actually played this before Trigger), but because I got bored, thanks in part to the slow-paced battle system and the severe restrictions on magic usage. And then I watched a friend let's play the game, and I liked it even less because the story in the second half of the game makes no sense. Honestly, I think the story in Final Fantasy 8 is better.
People love to hate current games, especially when there is a community around those games thats easy to hate. It really has nothing to do with the game itself
RE5 is probably my favourite of the series. My cousin, my friend and I definitely cleared it over 10 times it was so good as a couch co-op game never really played it as single player. Also the mercenaries mode was a lot of fun.
I agree with you. RE5 is totaly co-op game. Sad they didn't write it on game box, something like (2 players only). I played it with my friend and the game was amazing. Lots of team playing, like who going first, what better to use in different locations against different enemies. Also we spent lot of time on very first battle, just couldn't keep all these zombies. And same was with very last battle, just can't beat final boss. BTW we played on hard difficulty.
I love Deadly Premonition, as well as Twin Peaks. I finished the game a long time ago, but just this year I bought the Director's Cut for the PS3 and I intend to go through it once more very soon.
Fallout New Vegas was/is heavily polarizing. people seem to hate it because of the desert setting as opposed to Fo3's Capital Wasteland, or they love it for it's far superior RPG elements and story (i'm in the latter camp)
Good comment, I always thought New Vegas was amazing/superior despite enjoying exploring FO3's map in greater depth. The world that NV has is so interesting and full of purpose IMO.
Maturity is so rare in gaming media. "I'm not into micro transactions, but I can play the game without 'em.". If more people had this attitude, we might not have micro transactions to start with.
LuigiHero took me an entire summer when I was 12 to beat that game... never touched it again afterwards. one of my favorite games ever...and my only Zelda I've beaten. I'm with you!
I tried playing Zelda 2. As a fan of Zelda, I felt I needed to give it a fair shake. After the second or third Palace, I just found the game to be monotonous.
Good stuff guys. You covered 2 of my life defining games with Zelda 2 my first game ever. It was my first review for my channel, and it means a ton to me, obviously due to nostalgia but it's one of my favorite games ever for personal reasons. The other is Chrono Cross, which is my lead out music, and it too one of if not my favorite games of all time. Im really happy you got to this. You guys really pushed me to get off my ass and start my own channel about my passion. Keep up the great work, I always look forward to your videos.
I will never understand the love for Chrono Cross. I bought the game after it got a 10/10/10 review in EGM back in 2000 and I just could not get into it with the complex battle system. The story never drew me in. But, yes, the music is astonishing. Also, the opening cinematic is beautiful.
Actually it got a 10/10/9.5. I remember because they wrote how they gave a the 9.5 guy a lot of crap for not giving it a 10 lol. Btw- the battle system is simple on the surface, easy to learn but incredibly deep which is something a lot of RPGs try to do but few succeed at. The story is in my opinion the best story of any video game ever. I think Chrono Trigger is overall the better game but Chrono Cross is right up there with it as one of the greatest games of all time.
I liked Zelda 2 more than 1. I bought it when it first came out and all there was, was Zelda and Zelda 2, so we would have no idea all the other Zelda's would be top-down. Zelda 2 was a huge leap in graphics (much more variety in scenery) and presented a good challenge. side scrolling combat in 2 was more fun than the top down one in 1.
I agree. I also think Zelda 2 had much better/deeper gameplay. Zelda 1 just seems primitive in comparison... But I didn't play it back when it was released (because I wasn't born yet), so it has no nostalgic value for me. ALTTP really got the top-down formula right, though. Zelda 1 is just much more primitive than that...
Deadly Premonition has a potential of being a great series. And yes I absolutely agree with the Twin Peaks feel of the game which I think they should embrace if they're making a sequel.
Chrono Cross is AMAZING! One of the best RPGs I've ever played. The amount of playable characters is unbelievable. The gameplay is deep and rewarding. The game can be played several times in a row without even seeing everything there is to see. The graphics are some of the best ones ever seen on PS1 and the sound is mind blowing.
tetsuokenpachi except none of those characters have any depth and the story is a contrived mess that initially looks interesting but runs out of steam quickly and the ending is terrible with only hints if the multiple endings chrono trigger had. CT was pure genius in comparison.
Zos Xavius 45 playable characters... You have any idea how long and big the game would be if they spent as much time on any of them as they did in Chrono Trigger??? And they all have a back story and their very own ways of expressing themselves and their own special skills. I finished the game several times. I still haven't seen most of the characters available. You want to talk about characterisation? How about the depth of the game itself??? Also, I totally disagree about the ending. Oh, wait... ENDINGS... which is more than can be said about most RPGs.
Man I'm finally on your guys last video after a 2 month binge. I used to be a hardcore gamer back to about 7 years ago when I had kids cause the time I had didn't really allow it and I slowly lost interest in gaming. Than one day I stumbled across your channel and started watching a episode about the Saturn vs PlayStation and I instantly became hooked. So I watched all your videos from oldest to newest and enjoyed every single one of them! You guys are amazing and make some very quality stuff. Don't know how you don't have at least a million subscribers. But anyway now because of you amazing you tubers I started to really get back into gaming and I'm now the proud owner of a Dreamcast, ps1,ps2, N64, first Xbox, wii, wiiu and a Xbox 360! I'm currently searching for a sega Saturn and a sega genesis (sega fan boy). I want to thank you guys for inspiring me to getting back to something I love and missed!! You guys rock! Oh and my 2 boys love the Dreamcast!
I agree 100% with your COD thoughts, people always hate popular games, I've seen people hate Pokemon, Final Fantasy, and many other very good games. It's so silly... =(
They appear in a great, oficial videogame. In your face, Avgn! I will never forget how he and his girlfriend Mike got mad with the parody episode of GS, you proud fools
Deadly Premonition was a fantastic Twin Peaks video game even if it looked like a Dreamcast game, controlled like ass, had terrible frame rate and wooden voice acting . The game just sucks you in and I couldn't stop playing. Did you know that Twin Peaks : Fire walk with me was more popular in Japan than in America
Guys, I can safely say that your show is one of the more beloved and respected in the whole world of videogames. I will not be surprised if more devs and people involved in the creation of games start coming up a fans. :3
Sack overload! Just worked my way through volume 1-2 blue rays as well as keeping up with latest episodes. Great content and episode, keep it coming :)
just an idea for future vids. could you put a list of the games you talk about in the vid description. i had to rewind to get the title of deadly preminition (bloody kids lol) sometimes i get distracted from the screen. then see a game that looks quite interesting but didnt catch what it was. i now hqve one on my to get list as i enjoyed alan wake qnd dp looks like it might do a simalar thing for me
I haven't played part 6. I've really heard nothing but negative comments on it. But when 5 was out, people were all over the place with their opinions. Maybe 6 made it look good?
5 was great as long as you had someone with you to co-op. the AI partner was meh. Also, things tend to be less scary when you have someone there watching your back.
5 was a great experience for me. It was no classic RE but I loved it. RE 6 on the other hand is a call of duty in third person. One campaign is setting in a house fight war....thank god they gave us RE7 this year. What a great game :-)
The best part of 6 is its excellent Mercenaries mode, which I feel is the best in the serie. Campaign wise, I won't spoil who's is better/worst, but let's say there's some very very good moments, but too many absolutely terrible ones.
I lost some respect for you DAVE. Just kidding, but when COD went to the Sci-fi garbage they lost me. The only reason I have Black Ops 3 is it was bundled with my PS4. I have had the game for over a year and have never played the campaign through muchpast the train flash back section and only played online about 3 times. I would dump this game if it wasn't for the fact I wouldn't get anything for it. Also people use that overuse the term "Racist" has caused it to loose it's meaning since all these morons who use it about a womans facial mask that is black in color being racist. That most people who hear it roll their eyes and ignore them. Then when something happens that is truly racist it gets ignored. But racism in games is total B.S.
DannyBoy32289 Maybe he is just a fan of the show, and was thrilled to be a guest. Especially since the game he worked on was relevant to the episode. Don't be so fucking cynical.
DannyBoy32289 I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but in this case it didnt. Besides, youtubers are now required to mention if a video is sponsored or paid for in any way by a company. Look it up so you don't look foolish next time.
It literally never happens when the game has already been out for 2 years. If they were going to pay them to promote it they'd do it when it was released in 2015. The dev was a fanboy who put them in the game so they probably invited him to be on the show.
22:08 enemy encounters only appear when you're not on the road, but if you lead them back there and get into one when you're back on the road, it'll be safe
I love watching GameSack just for all the non-related music they put in all the different sections. It's like looking for a ton of easter eggs every episode. Art of Fighting took me a while to remember!
I've been away for too long but I still love watching GameSack after my year of absence, that being said I'm still disappointed that there is no Parallax Scrolling episode...
Another flawless episode that can have no polarizing opinions. Everyone must like Deadly Premonition as it is the definition of cult classic and amazing. Thanks guys for the killer work.
Call of Duty is hated by many in the gaming community because the game style itself was becoming a massive trend which was due to a massive influx of casual gamers that were buying these games just to play FPS's, forcing gaming companies to follow that trend and abandon the other styles of games. Eventually the uproar from the community made them rethink their actions.
Oh man, your show guys, just, oh man. It's like the constant in this strange and wild world. I love to watch your show guys, and I love to rewatch your fantastic acting skills in the sketches you put to the sketch channel. And the "Outride the Crisis" at the start of this episode, god dammit, such a nice tune to start off. I'm so ready.
Knuckles Chaotix doesn't have the greatest level design in the world, but if you master the rubberband mechanic, it becomes a crazy fun game. You can fly through the stages just by throwing your partner right.
Awesome episode! Whenever the newest Zelda game comes out it always seems to have polarizing opinions at first. Well, except for Breath of the Wild, that seems universally loved. I also remember Mario sunshine being extremely polarizing when it first came out. I loved it, but a lot of people hated it at the time. Now it tends to get a lot of love. Can't wait for some more Sack!
There are some great picks here. Almost all of those games have a lot of people who love them and hate them. Also, you're getting ridiculously good with the special effects! I almost felt like calling my congressman because of the blood shown at the end. Then I remembered it wasn't the 90's anymore.
Seems like you were trying to keep the vibe friendly not asking the dev his opinions on pay to win microtransactions... which is everything wrong with DLC. That's exactly what we made fun of in the ending skit. If you look at my supply drop, the words "Insufficient Funds" appear. He paid more, so he got a better drop and thus won the battle.
One thing to remember: A lot of the DLC pay to win shit isnt the dev. It's the money-grubbing publishers (like Activision) that force it in there.

This is the best episode yet. I'm not biased at all.
Your lack of tea-bagging after your kill disturbs me
Time to complain online
You're only saying that because you got a free copy of Snatcher.
Yoshi Vu - DOES Mario abuse you..? o.O
+felman87 Looks like Snatcher just got... um.. snatched.
Thanks for coming on the show! Me and the GF were cracking up :D
I'm a game developer, and Game Sack is my #1 favorite show on UA-cam! Joe and Dave changed my life; I would never have bought my beloved copy of GreenDog without them! Joe and Dave, you two are amazing; thank you so much!
Next: Game Sack episodes that causes polarizing opinions
That video on Thunder Force and Cotton can go to hell!!!!
I really dislike that Game Sack ending(s) episode
I am simply amazed that a UA-cam personality actually ridiculed the whole RE5 = Racist scandal. Huge props to you guys for that,
Amazing final episode of Game Sack!! I must admit both Dave and Joe getting killed was a truly unexpected twist!!
I suggest Final Fantasy VIII as a polarizing game. Just something I've noticed over the years when talking w/ people about it.
Also: I'm glad you guys got to talk about Deadly Premonition! It's crazy how that game goes from garbage to gold over the course of playing it.

oh and daggerfall and morrowind way better than skyrim n oblivion put together only decent elderscrolls game now is eso
all of the issues (except driving) described in the Deadly Premonition segment have been corrected in the Steam version of the game (with mods)
Sheeeeit Game Sack immortalized in a COD game. A well-deserved homage if you ask me.
I loved this episode AND the ending.
I'm an hour into Deadly Premonition on PS3. So far I like it but the sounds the zombies make absolutely creep me out.
Bioshock Infinite was definitely a game with polarising opinions. Good vid - love Dave's face on that poster 🤣
That's really incredible that you got slapped into a Duty game as an easter egg! I knew there was a reason that Treyarch is my favorite of the CoD developers.
That's wonderful and must be very gratifying to know that people at an actual prominent game developer like Game Sack.
"Does Mario abuse you or anything?" Turns out Activision was the abuser, not Mario.
Fresh sack, best sack. love everything you guys do.
Great channel! very entertaining! I was wondering if you have ever considered doing an episode on NEO GEO ports and all of the various iterations on all of the different consoles, as well as comparing and contrasting them against one another? I know I've already asked this question, but I know you both would be the best at doing this topic! Thanks guys!!!
Jake Borunda Then we can see that Sega Saturn has better versions of snk games.
Or that the Sega Saturn versions weren't as good because of load times.
^ I kinda agree but it's much worse on PC Engine CD or, maybe worst of all, Neo Geo CD. Art of Fighting on PC Engine has some 1 minute long loadings which completely ruin the pace and some loadings on Neo Geo CD are even longer!
Arcade games are just better on cartridges, especially during the 16-bit days.

Wow, you guys have fans in high places! That *is great*! Congrats on the cameo!
This was a controversial episode. I have a really strong opinion about this episode. This episode made me feel very strong emotions.
This comment riles me up. Im upset and need to vent my anger in a disapproving comment of my own.
This reply just pushes me over the edge. I can't take it anymore. Why can't we just UA-cam in peace!
nobel 11 I feel strong emotions and yet I will not mention them. Rather, it is my intention to reference and criticize others for showing emotion, to wit: “You are mad.”
Are these opinions and emotions by chance polarizing?
@nate. Your comment, in reply, to His comment; Has directly affected my emotional state living in the AI simulation of emotional responses to humans. With my agenda. We will in end in our final conclusion...
Out of all these games listed, I can proudly say Deadly Premonition and Chrono Cross are up there as some of my favorite games. I don't care if I get flack or the games get flack. As long as I enjoy them that is what matters, right?
After all this time, after watching for years, I've just realized...
they use a green screen instead of their real game room for filming.
This is amazing to me
took me a while too...
Sammy hahahhahaha. it took me a while too. it's well done. that way they can add effects easily and stuff.
Sammy they have used alternate backgrounds... have you seen the “bargain games” videos?
me too haha didn't
Their green screen is top notch, but come on dude! They have no reflection in the TV... how did you not notice?
A lot of the things people hated about Zelda II include how cryptic it was in explaining what to do next, and the severe difficulty spikes leading to the penultimate and final dungeons. The path leading to the Great Palace was a gauntlet filled with enemies and death traps which would drink the limited lives you had.
I was watching Game Sack when all of the sudden a new Game Sack episode came out. Perfect!
cant wait for bob cornhole to guest star next!
bob cornhole is literally the most interesting person on the internet.
I LOVE BOB CORNHOLE!!!!!
the PS2 slim shell was the best game on this show

With a positive take on Call of Duty, I'm surprised this video doesn't have more downvotes. Either Game Sack's viewers are very level-headed or Dave convinced haters they were hating for no good reason.
Haha, give it time. :)
markula Never underestimate the sensitivity of COD haters. This video has only been up six hours LOL.
MekanikKommandoh88 you never shot a real gun..🙉🔫
2 in the morn? Yep.
Sack time.
I read that as "Two in the Mom". I need to go to bed.
People always read things they're familiar with
felman87 I just woke up and read it as that, so don't feel bad.
I read it the same way lol, and I just woke up
Dave McHugh glad I skipped it last night. Worst ep ever.
The interview really surprised me. I thought of a joke at first, but it was a welcome innovation!
I gotta play Deadly Premonition now that Twin Peaks has returned with new episodes.
I like all those games. Wait, no I don't
Stupid Game Chasers. Congrats on 100k btw
Oh wow, finally 100k... Took long enough. My favorite UA-cam channel, but sadly not as popular as it should be...
me too chodes,
what a shitty choice of titles.
what happened to "the really good games?"...lol..
LOL are you guys mad they took a jab at you at 24:08? "The Game Chasers" flashes across the screen when they mention the music being decent enough for other UA-cam channels to rip-off.
Oh yeah, I'm so mad.
doesn't surprise me that developers like you guys' stuff. you are literally the only gaming show on youtube that i make a point to watch every single episode of, whether the topic is initially interesting to me or not, cause i always know it'll be a quality show regardless and you guys always make it interesting and entertaining. keep up the great work! i just hope i never have to suffer through another game sack hiatus. that was a very dark time for the world. (;
I like Knuckles Chaotix, it's one of the more interesting games in the Sonic franchise. Plus as a kid it was nice to not fight over who got to be player 1.
Sonic paradox 😲
It really has nothing to do with the game itself
both suck ass.
Flux Capacitor I saw your profile pic and I thought sticknodes 😂
Dudes.....you had me going with that painting! I thought it was a real in-game object at first. LMAO!
RE5 is probably my favourite of the series. My cousin, my friend and I definitely cleared it over 10 times it was so good as a couch co-op game never really played it as single player. Also the mercenaries mode was a lot of fun.
I bought a S&W 500 because of Resident Evil 5
I agree with you. RE5 is totaly co-op game. Sad they didn't write it on game box, something like (2 players only). I played it with my friend and the game was amazing. Lots of team playing, like who going first, what better to use in different locations against different enemies. Also we spent lot of time on very first battle, just couldn't keep all these zombies. And same was with very last battle, just can't beat final boss. BTW we played on hard difficulty.
Still the best show on UA-cam. Nothing even comes close.
treyarch is the only cod games I play.. And that's awesome u guys have a cameo in it.. even more of a reason to like treyarch
Every time I see an new game sack episode up, I can't help but feel excited. I stop everything I'm doing and just enjoy myself watching these episodes
Miyamoto's meddling in SFA really pissed off Rare and was probably the final nail in the coffin of Rare and Nintendo's relationship
Fallout 3 is one of my favorite games of all time. I struggled to finish New Vegas because it was so boring.
I liked it a lot (not as much as 3) but what made me stop playing after 100ish hours were the constant bugs and crashes.
I liked the desert setting. It gave the game a western feel.
I think the biggest reason why Fallout NV was hated is because of the massive gamebreaking bugs in it.
Maturity is so rare in gaming media. "I'm not into micro transactions, but I can play the game without 'em.". If more people had this attitude, we might not have micro transactions to start with.
I love Zelda 2, one of my favorite Zelda games. Who's with me?
LuigiHero took me an entire summer when I was 12 to beat that game... never touched it again afterwards. one of my favorite games ever...and my only Zelda I've beaten. I'm with you!
You got a supporter.
imo what defines a zelda game is that it has Zelda in it.
I tried playing Zelda 2. As a fan of Zelda, I felt I needed to give it a fair shake. After the second or third Palace, I just found the game to be monotonous.
Yeah it kinda is, though later dungeons and the final one especially do shake it up a bit with new enemies and puzzles.
Ronald DeRosa the battle system is super simple...
I grew tired of call of duty awhile ago, but I can respect that Dave likes the series and I can still go back and play MW2 or BO2 when Im in the mood.
I liked Zelda 2 more than 1. I bought it when it first came out and all there was, was Zelda and Zelda 2, so we would have no idea all the other Zelda's would be top-down. Zelda 2 was a huge leap in graphics (much more variety in scenery) and presented a good challenge. side scrolling combat in 2 was more fun than the top down one in 1.
nimaiiikun Also the Temple music was insane better than 1
Thank you in advance for this episode :)
New Game Sack episodes are the videos that get me most excited. Love your show dudes
Time to bust out the good ol' Sack and explode it onto my screen!
I reviewed Dinosaur Planet for Game Informer and gave it a 9, I believe, so I definitely liked it!
Zos Xavius
45 playable characters... Oh, wait... ENDINGS... which is more than can be said about most RPGs.
tetsuokenpachi also one of my favorite games. Absolutely adore it. It is a master piece in my eyes. My old discs have been beaten like 12 times XD
take a look at suikoden to see how the amount of playable characters isn't a reason not to have many developed characters.
sheepnoisebah
Suikoden??? Which one??? ... because, again, there's 45 of them in Chrono Cross... and we're talking about a less than 1gb game...
I'm currently searching for a sega
Saturn and a sega genesis (sega fan boy).
Dave should do stand-up. His review of Zelda 2 was hilarious!
Deadly premonitions is the best.
4:47 I thought Dave turned into Yoshi 😅
Guys, I can safely say that your show is one of the more beloved and respected in the whole world of videogames. I will not be surprised if more devs and people involved in the creation of games start coming up a fans. :3
Polarising comment. 12:12, close your eyes. Gran Turismo.
Sack overload! Just worked my way through volume 1-2 blue rays as well as keeping up with latest episodes. Great content and episode, keep it coming :)
you guys are the best lots of the times.
just an idea for future vids. could you put a list of the games you talk about in the vid description. i had to rewind to get the title of deadly preminition (bloody kids lol) sometimes i get distracted from the screen. then see a game that looks quite interesting but didnt catch what it was. i now hqve one on my to get list as i enjoyed alan wake qnd dp looks like it might do a simalar thing for me
Try this: www.gamesack.net
The worst thing about Knuckles Chaotix is the jump sound! Listen how ungenesisly soft it is. It's like you're playing on SNES
Nice episode!
It would've probably been funnier if he pulled out out 'Green Dog'.
I'm fine with the BO III mention, but the segment was just wayyy too long. Especially with the interview.
very polarizing take.
"Link has a super small sword which is very annoying." :P
You don't "cause" polarised opinions, guys. Opinions can be polarised.
"Games that polarised opinions"
Electric Skeleton that's nice.
or just Polarizing Games
@revoltingHorse, sorry did the logic scare you?
Best part about Sunday mornings is the occasional new Game Sack episode. Keep up the great work guys!
You should have mentioned Resident Evil 6 instead of RE5....that's the most hated Resident Evil Title und pure garbage....
I mean Umbrella Corps also exist, and is the biggest garbage the series has produced, this is including RE: Survivor.
I love coming home from work and having a new episode of Game Sack waiting for me. Thanks for making my Sunday mornings so much better!
Playing RE5 in co-op on Professional difficulty is a transformative experience. It will create a psychic link between you and your friend.
That interview felt so out of place, did they pay joe and dave or something?
yeah, an EX employee paid them money to play and review this game as well as get an interview... get real kid.
DannyBoy32289 Maybe he is just a fan of the show, and was thrilled to be a guest. Especially since the game he worked on was relevant to the episode. Don't be so fucking cynical.
DankTendencies you act like it never happens, stop being so naive.
Great episode guys I can't wait for the follow up "games that cause cognitive dissonance." What would my life be without Game Sack!
Cool interview with the devs. Good to see it, even after so long developing the same game every year, there's still people who has passion doing it
you called "plosives" "splosives" and I'm not even disappointed cus that's actually really cute sounding haha 🙃
Another flawless episode that can have no polarizing opinions. Everyone must like Deadly Premonition as it is the definition of cult classic and amazing. Thanks guys for the killer work.
The fact that you guys are in a AAA game is amazing. Good job GameSack! Good job.
I like Joe's notable absence during the CoD segment. Says a lot about his personality, lol. Great video guys, keep it up.
How can this channel not have milions of subs?!?! it blows my mind. I enjoy your work guys keep it up and best regards from Sweden!
I like when my subscriptions feed has a gamesack video
Great topic....Also, I just saw the awesome intro for your 100th episode (yes I'm behind!). Hope we can see it (or something like it) for the 200th!!
Nice to see the show adding in guests again, Yoshi "Youngblood" should be in more videos. Keep up the great work guys.
There are some great picks here. Almost all of those games have a lot of people who love them and hate them. Also, you're getting ridiculously good with the special effects! I almost felt like calling my congressman because of the blood shown at the end. Then I remembered it wasn't the 90's anymore.
An American Werewolf In London was the 2nd horror movie to make me cry when I was little.
Best episode yet. I love the interview and getting to know that a dev supports you guys enough to put you in their game.
I was expecting a "Joe, did you get a haircut?" joke when Yoshi showed up.
