@@Indigo_European it’s a flaw when there’s absolutely zero efforts to lessen the impact and further trauma to a victim when they’re being forced to testify, yet it seems every incompetent/foolish/outlandish/claims-to-be-insane defendant gets every accommodation possible when it’s their “turn”…look at Darrell Brooks, he got his own courtroom, headphones, and plenty of chances to correct his behavior, and was given so many adaptable opportunities to do so. Or Shanda Vander Ark who tortured her mentally handicapped teenage son to death…she also got to play the victim in her own trial and bow out of listening to the horrific details, yet even the jury members in that trial will be traumatized from seeing an emaciated 15 year old boy dead in autopsy photos…
It’s a flaw…in any system… that little kids have to testify in front of the very adults who harm them. There could very well be another way to prevent further damage. I stand by it! But I do understand your perspective and points completely.

Also, let's hope that Lori gets convicted in Arizona for murdering Charles and for attempting to murder Brandon. Rest in peace Charles, Tylee, JJ, and Tammy. I hope that justice will help the families and friends of the victims heal and find peace.

I do not understand why they're allowing him to stay unshackled in the courtroom especially when he's there for murder!!! Just because he wants to act as his own attorney doesn't give him a right to walk around with the courtroom like that. He could attack someone at any given moment that puts the whole court at risk. Ignorance just doesn't fly with me.

they should not let defendants question their alleged victims. sure, question all the other witnesses, but they should have an attorney come in to question the victim. i don't know how it's not seen as witness intimidation. i know that if my abuser were to cross-examine me on the stand, i'd most likely lie to appease them. that little boy is incredibly brave to stand up against his own father like that, but not everyone is that brave, and nobody should have to be that brave for justice to be served.

Agreed. I'm concerned that the judge is going to give Ruby and Jodi light sentences when they both deserve the maximum sentences because they tortured children. Ruby and Jodi are the worst type of monsters who prey on innocent children because kids can't fight back. Who knows what else those monsters are capable of if they are ever set free?! I'm confident that Jodi and Ruby will continue to cause harm to others after they are released. I hope that they both get 60 years.
