Rambo mania hits town of Hope, B.C.

Forty years ago, an actor named Sylvester Stallone came to B.C. to shoot a movie that would put the town of Hope on the map.

I saw that movie in the theater a number of times. I was only 19 years old at the time it came out in late 1982. I loved watching it 🤩. It was a great movie. Thanks 👍.

Like all the Rambo movies, but First Blood is the still the best! Great job Hope!

Most people missed the point of First Blood movie. It's all about veterans and PTSD. Not your typical action movie.

I want to ask people who lived in 1982 and are alive if they have seen Stallone film his first Rambo movie. Have you seen him on the streets of Hope? Did they greet him, did they treat him, what is the Hollywood star like in person?.
