Thank you for taking the time to share in your preparations - I know the filming would have delayed it a little! But like someone said below, you are so chill. You have a calming effect :)

I made the same turkey. I made a 12lb one. Delish! Your meal looked amazing. Every year we have a tradition...we listen to hawaiian Christmas music while cleaning up from dinner. It's our start to the Christmas season. Been doing it for decades...lol.

Your homemade meal was beautiful and prepared with love. And those lush tropical flowers, wow! I think Kuma was just trying to give you some words of encouragement.
We hosted my in-laws at our place. I’m not really a fan of turkey, so I made salmon. Luckily, my in-laws started the tradition of serving fish a long time ago, so they weren’t disappointed.
Wishing you and your beautiful family a wonderful holiday weekend!

Thanks Nikki. Happy Thanksgiving to you too. The food looked very delicious. But those Deviled eggs, were off. The egg yolk filling seemed a lite "chunky". I have seen it works better, when that much filling, goes into a larger zip top bag, and kneaded, to smooth the mixture out more, and with a smaller hole, it would come out and fill the egg white bowl more evenly. Word if advice Brian, the wife is ALWAYS right. 😜 Have a great week.

Niki, I liked how calm and relaxed you were preparing this meal! So many people, myself included, tend to get all stressed out when preparing a big meal for a group of people. I really enjoyed your laid back manner and your friendly teasing of your husband. You two work well together. Have a nice weekend and enjoy your leftovers. Take care.

What a wonderful Thanksgiving meal you and Brian prepared. We just shared a take-out turkey plate supplemented by a salad, candied yams, pie and Japanese whiskey. I remember Shinichi telling the story of that turkey loaf... what a heartbreaking tale. Your comments and gravy packet dance (reminds me of Satoshi) are hilarious. Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving and Black Friday!

I love cooking. Just not American food. I use to be a chef... now artist. My favorite food to cook is Japanese. Your moms recipes are so yummy. And easy. Especially since my hands don't always work right now. Much better than before. I know this is an old video but I was chanting nmrk for you mom. She reminds me of my kosen rufu grandmother Ritsuko. We live far apart now. She's 78. I would helped her like I did with my biolical grandma before she passed. .

Niki, you did a wonderful job. This was my thanksgiving........ I don't like Turkey so I made a 7lb roasting chicken (it's just me and my husband) Brussel sprouts and candied carrots (green giant) that goes in the microwave for 6 minutes each. Frozen sweet potatoes that you put on top of the stove, and of course stove top stuffing. Bread was garlic bread and a pumpkin pie from BJ's. Now YOU on the other hand made fresh vegetables in the oven and real mashed potatoes. 0 I forgot I did have mashed potatoes but they were the ones that were already made. And I was sweating my but off doing that!!!!! Can you BELIEVE It!!!! So I would say you did a hell of a job. Happy Late Thanksgiving. From Bethlehem Pa.

    Mele Kalikimaka!!!
Kinda late watching this but I had toothache week of Thanksgiving & still recovering from getting those 2 teeth pulled this week. So I had soup for Thanksgiving dinner😆😆😆Hope y'all are having a great Christmas season🎄
Sometimes, I wish I was able to eat pineapple. Like that one you were cutting. Perfect ripeness. Have you ever tried injecting pineapple juice into the ham? It comes out so juicy. Even the pickiest eaters in my husband's side of the family loved it. Maybe try next for Christmas dinner.🙋‍♀️

OMGEEE Sister.....”Deviled egg doo-doo.” 😂😂😂. Your comments made me laugh! I adore you!! Please tell Brian-“always listen to your wife!” Using a ziplock bag (with a tiny snip), is the only way to go. Just use the heavier duty one, like the 1/2 gallon or gallon sized bag....... Or, he can take it one step further, and get a disposable pastry bag, from your local cake decorating supply store, a coupler, and a star tip, to make it even prettier. ☺️ Your whole meal looked so oishi! The Farmer John half ham is THE only ham that I buy. I don’t like spiral ham, so I hope that you were happy with it. Thank you for sharing your family and your beautiful meal with us! Half our family went camping, our son had to work, so hubby, myself, and my in-laws’ all went to a restaurant for the first time evah. I’m sad that there are no leftovers, but at the same time-no clean up either, so that left time for hubby and I to go Black Friday shopping last night. ☺️

I was going to bake a turkey in my counter top roaster, but my sister said she was going to make turkey tetrizini out of the turkey like our mother use to do so I let her have the turkey and make the dish. We also have english peas and it was nice, but for Christmas I will be cooking a duck myself and making some mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing, and sweet peas with the meal myself. She can make another tetrizini dish with the turkey she buys.
The Deviled Eggs your husband is making does look nice and I hope you all are going to have a nice Christmas meal. I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving and is ready for Christmas which will be here soon.

Omg! You made all that food by yourself?! Well done! I cracked up when you tried to get a production line going with Brian! I'm a control freak in the kitchen too! Btw: tell Brian you have to squeeze the Ziploc bag from the top of the contents for it to work well, not by the hole. Love to you & your family!
