What you said about not being the smartest person in the room is probably why I like learning from the older men at church. I never could give a reason why, but that’s why. Thanks for the help! 👍🏾👍🏾
I must say, from watching you build bows in your garage to the production level & craftsmanship now... Freaking phenomenal! I applaud your growth & passion. These are some beautiful works of art
I’m commenting on this video, for the video where you make your sons new bow, because comments are turned off. I loved that video man, I love making my daughter things, I’ve made her a few bows myself. 2 wood bows and one pvc bow! Can’t wait til my son is old enough for a bow… well I don’t want him to grow up too fast, but it’ll be a happy day when he can use a bow for the first time!! He’s 6 months right now. Love the channel my brother. Love from Texas
Shatterproof archery will go down in archery history… from the content, the genuine intentions and pure passion. Every time I contact for help, I get a personal answer and solution coupled with the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Much love and stay safe.
@kramer, I've been watching you grow for a few years now. And I have to say, quite proud of your persistance, of your passion! A few years back you were shooting targets in the wood. Now, hey, I'd love to have one of your super impressive bows! Well done! $700 is a lot for me for now, but I will be watching ...
you guys are amazing. I remember a number of years ago watching Kramer just going out into the woods and shooting at targets set up with his home made bows. Really liked this guy from the beginning. I'm an old guy. But as a youth I'd spend literally HOURS shooting at playing cards held up by a stick in a mound of dirt left over by the builder of the houses in our small suburb tract. I still love shooting targets! (guns too but that's another story). Great work guys! PS Don't drop those calipers!
You could probably get a string from Shatterproof Archery that is wide enough for the bow. They make strings for some of the modern Chinses or some versions of modern Mongolian bows with the big siha bow tips that need bigger string loops since so few companies make a replacement string for those bows and if they do it is only for the model they sell specifically.
I'd love a bow like that! Since I'm not delusional I know I can't afford one so that means. . . I'm going to try and make one I can't wait to try and make a bow like this I've never made one. Awesome bow Kramer I'm jealous.
Beautiful bows! Amazing craftsmanship! I loved watching the build video. One bummer... seeing as how approximately 70% of the population are right-eye dominant and 29% are left-eye dominant... I wish at least one of these was a lefty bow. :-(
Beautiful bows ! Looks like you’ve found good help! Only as strong as your weakest link I’ve learned long as it’s you, your usualy in good shape … love it ! Great bows !
They are all gorgeous guys. I love them all it would be really hard to choose which one to take home lol think I would have had to take all of them, lol
I paint my bows olive drab to reduce glare and blend in to surroundings. That bow is an amazing piece of furniture. Very meticulous attention to detail. Love the recessed medallion like the older Bear recurves.
Loved this build and wish I could afford one or these. In the build video you used heat strips to cure the epoxy, how about sharing this setup! I don't have enough space in my work shop for a heat box and would like to have this setup. a short video of this setup would be cool
i love to watch these bows made and there incredibly beautiful but have you ever thought of selling a $200 long bow or something affordable that your audience can buy from you
If you do a will it bow, I want to see you use the thin black drainage PVC in place of the bows black fiberglass to see if you could do in the Bones model to see if you could make a cheaper model of the same bow using wood that is just as good in strength though cheaper then what is currently on the standard production, like Hickory or Oak from a big box store. You will have to use the PVC Plumbers glue in the gluing to the bows wood as any other glue will not work with the PVC. You might have to heat the PVC with a heat gun before putting on the bow though more then likely not all the way like with a recurve of PVC but I am not sure on this part.
If I remember right you had less than 700 subscribers when I subbed. It's nice to see you made it, a nice shop and people working under you to lighten the load. Good job mate! The best bow you can make with tools bought for $20 or less?
Now I really enjoyed this video. Zach is amazing as ae you. but to see the high tech application of making these bows is fantastic. I would love one of them. are you making them part of your line?
Kramer, living in British Columbia, what are the properties of the fibre glass you are using in these Bows? How would I order similar product, for a self bow build? I want to follow your bow plan, and make a set of Bows for our little family...
Hey man. I've been watching ur videos for years. I've just got a finish yourself hickory longbow off of etsy and then purchased one of ur strings by accident 😂 not knowing you were the maker. Pretty badass knowing you made the string I'm gonna use for it. But I was just wondering what the best stain is to use on hickory?
Have you ever attempted an Asymmetrical Bow, like a Zen Archery bow, but done with your modern materials, and building methodologies, but with a standard length (say approx 60" to 64") versus the very long Japanese bows? Just curious.
I just can't get it up for modern western style bows anymore but give me a good Turkish or tatar bow and I'm all in ....I'll never shoot off the left side again
I never understood the bowyers and archers fetish for special woods on the riser section and even the limbs. Yes it can look beautiful and it does but its mostly about the looks you put so much effort, time, material and energy in. It makes your build look like rocket sience. I respect that interest but as a selfbowyer I am more into functional effort and the look and design simply follows that. I dont care if you have 28 layers of bamboo, maple and the most exotic stuff you can find on your laminated bow. And I always feel so odd if people look at my only laminated bow which I did not make myself and they actually think that the choice of wood like marbled maple makes it a good bow.
Think of it as art/expression in design, to make something functional is one thing, to make it appealing is a level above.. I've been into trad' archery for a few years, and I have carpentry experience... If i could source materials easily I'd be the same after making so many bow as this fella has.
Well no, I am not wrong here since I enjoyed a lot of videos of kramer and shatterproof archery. He and his people seem to be nice guys, too. Most content is very enjoyable. This thing is just over the edge of what makes bowbuilding interesting for me. Its playing with epoxy. Or design/art, fine. As I mentioned I respect that but I see a tendency in it to focus on looks. Maybe its a fine shooting bow, that would have been much more interesting for me. And that would be a reason to pay a lot of money. I think its pretty clear now, sorry if I was a little impolite or offensive. Didnt mean to be.
If I ever was in your area, I would try to get there and ask if I could design a Fixed Broadhead for the company in a few weights using different materials for each weight of broadhead trying to make the 100/125 grain convertible, the 150/175 convertible, and the 175/200 convertible. a Then make with help create a line of the bow you sell that the draw made for short draws with a 22 inch, 24 inch, and a 26 inch draw with those at 25 probably getting them the 24 inch and then taking a pound off the bow, keeping that extra poundage for that draw mistake. Last then help make a bow weight set for archers like Jack of Historical archery Channel who want high poundage bows in both the small draw and the lager draw. The short draw will be good for those smaller adult archers as women and some Males need this with even some styles of Crawl the archer is looking more down the arrow so they can't go far back and only get a 24--26 inch draw unlike the one they would have shooting gap or other more instinctive/fixed crawl.
$5,000 American dollars? Is that what you sell one for? That’s wild. Trad bows made in the USA go for average $600-1800. I sell my 5 bow models $700 to $950 average.
Red Heart is a very poor choice for risers because it splits so easily. There’s good reasons why you’ll not find this species used by the best and most experienced custom bow makers. It’s just not safe. Sooner or later it’s gonna blow up on you.
Very commercial looking. ....and commercial mass production made too. All you need now is a copy-cat to produce and reduce x12 the time done on the CNC. I hope you do not go down that lane
Those are INCREDIBLE!!!!!!
What you said about not being the smartest person in the room is probably why I like learning from the older men at church. I never could give a reason why, but that’s why. Thanks for the help! 👍🏾👍🏾
Wow! Those bows are so beautiful, I could never afford a bow like that but they are amazing!!!
The Art is in the making, not everyone can purchase but you have one of a kind bow ,total
Individuality if One could afford it love to own one 😎
I must say, from watching you build bows in your garage to the production level & craftsmanship now... Freaking phenomenal! I applaud your growth & passion. These are some beautiful works of art
You’ve come a very long way….from scrap pellet wood bows to these….you go kid.
Craftsmanship to a whole new level, and the video, sound, and editing are on point as ever. Great stuff Kramer.
Beautiful bows and craftsmanship! My favorite is 3 of 4; the redheart seems particularly prominent in the riser.

Incredible. After a days of work, as i heard the sound of the soft rain i fell asleep.😂
Amazing bows!!! Thank you for sharing such satisfying images with us 👏👏👏 I'm watching from Brazil
That is some gorgeous bow great job guys!!
God bless.
You guys are Wood & Archery artists! Awesome bows. I wish I had the money. Wow!!

I agree at least 1 of the 3 for sale should have been a left eye dominate bow.
Amazing bows, awesome to see how its done
Beautiful bow nicely done
Absolutely outstandiing
Wow that was some awesome work!! Beautiful
Sweet bows. I’m convinced, my next bow will be a shatterproof.
DAAAAAAYYYYUUUUUMMMM those are some nice bows!!!!
Beautiful bows ! Looks like you’ve found good help! Only as strong as your weakest link I’ve learned long as it’s you, your usualy in good shape … love it ! Great bows !
I am so sad to live in Germany as a carpenter. I would love to work with you and at most to learn from you! You do such great work!!!
Wow!!! Incredibly beautiful bows! Great video, as always, thumbs up from the 641...

Love the exotics! 😊

they all look great but id pick 2 of 4
I really want one of your bows really bad❤
I love your bows man!!!!
I would like to see some speed testing shooting 10 grain per pound I think the limbs are not bending enough in the mid limb area.
They hinge at the riser fade out badly
greeting excellent video....👍👍👍👍👍 Question, why don't I enter the oven to paste with EA40???????🤔🤔🤔🤔 Greetings and congratulations....💪💪💪
Pre heating glue helps mixing when air temp isn’t say over 80.

build a super recurve like border archery. i love there bows and they are so fast at low pounds.
I have the same Wen drillpress and the depth stop adjustment drives me nuts.....
what designing program do you use on the computer

Have you thought about using bamboo back scratchers in an episode of will it bow?
I'd like to see a Bamboo/IPE longbow kit.
Awesome
Hey, did u have looked the Oak Ridge Mystic ???
How do you cut the medallion inlay for the riser?
What is that computer design you're using and where can I get it?
I was thinking about getting a recurve take down (40-50 Lbs drawl weight) for the son. $200 is the limit. What brand should I get?
Hey question. Have you thought about building take downs?
Awesome! What is the software you are using?
Kramer what makes one of these bows or any bowl for that matter worth three to $5000 in your own words?
I just can't get it up for modern western style bows anymore but give me a good Turkish or tatar bow and I'm all in ....I'll never shoot off the left side again
Do a tiger maple bow please. It’s my favorite wood

How can order this bow

What Apoxsee should I use?
Smooth on EA-40

They aren't asking 5k for the bow. They are auctioning them off starting at 10.00. The market will decide what they sell for.
