Thank you for this. You are absolutely right. These realizations come with age and maturity though, and being on the other side of recovery. Not that I'm cutting the young ones any slack; I'd smack my 15yr old self if I saw her now. Hindsight and all that. I guess all we can do is keep on with these blatant truths.
