The leighter you go, the longer you will walk, the further you can go. And this is not only from day to day. The strain on your body builds up and results in backpain or damage to worn out tendons, muscles, etc which once they appear cannot be undone anymore. Tx for sharing our beloved NP's.
wow makes me homesick, I am in Australia nowadays and love it, but I must say I miss the dales, lived in little town called Darley and often went hiking following the river Nidd, out to pately Bridge and Brimham rocks oh so many places , loved the scenery thanks for bringing back some memories mate. good job great footage
Me, too. Lived in Leeds for 8 years and explored the Dales on my days off work. I really got to know some areas of the Dales really well. I'm in Ireland now, it's beautiful here, too, but I still miss the Yorkshire Dales....
Brilliant man! Loving the hiking content, my partner and I are in Tasmania atm hiking all the different national parks and mountains! Thanks for the inspiration 🤙🤙 Luke & Jenica
Enjoyed watching this, thanks for sharing, makes me want to get the tent out.👍 The lightweight camping game can get obsessive, and like you say , expensive. I've got my overnight pack down to about 8kg, in a 33 litre pack. Could go lighter but its always good to have some luxuries. Steak and broccoli in a frying pan with a cold beer is definitely more appealing than a rehydrated freeze dried meal any day! Enjoying your adventures, keep em coming 👍
Your backpacking Britain video came up on my recommended last week and I enjoyed it very much, I've watched most videos on your channel now and have subscribed I love your out look on life and I find your videos very therapeutic and relaxing. I like how you're true to yourself and create the videos you want to. Great content keep it up mate
Mate, what the heck honestly. Known of you for ages, subscribed back in 2017 which is wild, and can't believe how far you've come and the mad stuff you're doing now! Fair play to you fella, glad to see you're enjoying life and doing well after the Army 😃
Love the tent, I have a copy of the exact same one, there seems to be a few cheap manufacturers using this same model. I've been extremely happy with it despite the weight! It has given me a good night of sleep multiple times even when more expensive tents of my fellow hikers haven't. It is self standing and keeps itself very well in heavier wind and it cost me next to nothing when it comes to tent prices these days!
Once you’ve done all the national parks, you should get yourself a kayak & explore the rivers with wild camping, Iv been doing it for a year now it’s such an experience
It looks like they are growing a forest of trees on the hills behind you...Do you know what type of tree??...Beautiful scenery with the setting sun....Thanks, Liam...👍

A lot of people will say The Lakes, but Yorkshire dales takes it for me as the most beautiful the UK has to offer. Maybe Scotland can top it, but 100% it is England's most beautiful in my book
Your videos are great! Keep up the work, as an avid camper in Canada I love seeing how people in the rest of the world do it! Cheers! Small Tip: Consider buying a knife with a locking blade or solid tang. Pocket knives with swing open are handy in towns, but if you cut yourself on the trail... it sucks. Also, should you ever need it for defense a swing blade is more of a danger to you than anyone. A locking blade or small solid tang knife can save you a lot of hardship. :)
