what I like about these vids is that there is no silly editing or strange music. Back to basics approach/ down to earth/ real/ very good vids! Onward and upwards Liam!
The thing I do enjoy about these films are that they don’t contain any unnecessary edits or silly music. Back to original & down to earth, very real videos. All the best Liam & onwards & upwards!
It annoys me that you even have to think about wardens round there. As long as you do no harm and leave no trace you should be able to enjoy the area. It should belong to all of us anyway. Great video as usual.
It’s very rare you ever get moved on, but still you make a valid point. The key rule is - don’t be an idiot. Which unfortunately there alot of. But there are far more folk like Liam who just get out and enjoy the experience, and be considerate of the surroundings. Stuff like this should give land owners better confidence in wild campers in general
I want to express my appreciation to you as a new subscriber. Your videos have resonated with me, serving as a source of inspiration. Hiking has always held a special place in my heart, and I make it a point to immerse myself in nature's embrace every weekend. However, I have always found the idea of embarking on a multi-day hiking expedition with camping quite daunting. But your captivating videos have given me newfound courage, and I have decided to undertake my first multi-day hike this April, exploring the landscapes of the southern end of Cornwall. I am incredibly excited about this adventure and I owe it all to the inspiration you have provided through your videos. Thank you so much!
Those following your videos simply love them, love the format and love your attitude! You make us feel part of the experience by small things like showing us your cleaning your teeth, your pitching the tent and your saying "Good night. See ya in the morning"! You enjoy enviable freedom in the UK. Four down, eleven to go. With you all the way.
Absolutely loved this video, encapsulated my perfect wild camp. Really chill content that's also inspiring and endearing to watch. Keep it up dude, coolest challenge ever! I'm doing two 750m+ summits every month this year and will incorporate some wild camps in there, I cant bloody wait and, this is awesome motivation :)
I love the format of these videos, no nonsense, just concentrating on the beauty of the destination and appreciating it. Keep up the good work and change nothing!
Great upload mate! Wales just keeps on giving. I always carry a spare gas canister in case one runs out, but a thread going? New one on me. Good job the lighter didn’t run down, raw lamb sucks 😂 Also, hot rocks from the fire slipped into socks or boots overnight will dry them out quick-smart. 👍🏼 Cheers for taking the time 👍🏼
Nice one Liam! I went solo camping up Snowdon on Saturday 26th, so was only a mountain or two away from you, after watching your Yorkshire dales video it inspired me to get outdoors again and quit the excuses. It was well worth the effort. Cheers Liam!
Another awesome vid, TY Liam. "Happy, proper happy" really made me chuckle as I'm sure everybody watching was with you on that. Good luck with the next 11 national parks.
Hi Liam, your videos are so incredible. You and I are very much alike in the way that we appreciate the simple things in life, the awesome scenery, nice food and beer, and the serenity of being out in the middle of nowhere on your own. I'm looking forward to tuning into your next adventure. Cheers!
After watching GeoWizard drown in a pete bog, watching you jump in that marsh at 2:50 terrified me! Great vids though, you've inspired me to go backpacking in April!
This is where Robert Plant used to go to, when he was a child. He and Jimmy Page would go there later on, when they were in Led Zeppelin. Looks so nice over there. Cheers, Liam! ✌️
Loving the videos mate! Me and my pal keep doing the same hikes as you funny enough. Yorkshire peaks in the snow and this weekend we did Cadair Idris in snowdonia. You’re right the weather was cracking for Feb!
I'm so used to seeing channel 5s version of Britain its easy to forget its almost as picturesque as Ireland....almost 🤣🤣 but seriously love the channel and the info about your various bits of kit Is very appreciated best of luck 👍🏻 from 🇮🇪
You can’t beat been sat outside with a few beers, food cooking on a open fire or on the griddle, nice weather, good company and a little sing song or 2. The best life that 💯💯👍👍👌👌
love it mate.. did my first solo wild camp last week just a couple hours walk away from my house. was shit scared at first but got used to it as the night went on. great video as always, cant wait to find out what the new tent is !
On top of the mountain opposite where you are facing over the lake is some small standing stones untouched. Bit of a treck to get to them as no path but they are old....very old. There are also some footprints in the rocks along the lake shore but not sure how that happened as I can only think they were put there when that rock was soft mud or bog and that must have been millions of years ago?, just imagine people living there thousands of years ago and creating their magik on top of those peaks. It's one of my favourite places I have been going there for years. Glad you enjoyed the Welsh Spirit..........and beer lol. Cheers
I'm sure we've all done those Snowdon trips, and elsewhere, where you put your foot down on some nice inconspicuous ground and your leg disappears up to the knee. Fun times :)
I used to live in Snowdonia, I highly recommend the hills above Trefriw and Betws y coed. Absolutely beautiful area. Also the vale of Clwyd is absolutely spectacular too
Another outstanding day in our national Park, thank you. When you get to Brecon National Park I recommend Cawl ie Welsh meat and vegetables eaten with a chunk of cheese! Great camera work as always.
Liam once again great vid. You have inspired me to get out and do a solo camp found where i intend to check it out and its perfect. I will be videoing it and plan to start a UA-cam channel and put up my experience to share with the world. Nice one Liam keep on keeping on, RESPECT!!!!
There are other parts of Wales which are more interesting than Snowdon. Around Cader Idris is more spectacular and some of the views above Llyn Clywedog where you can see for 15 miles and feels like the top of the world.
This place looks unreal, great stuff my friend. I'm waiting for the weather to get warmer, I'm camping with my 5 year old boy, and he just broke his arm last week, so better weather for me in Gloucestershire and we're out. Try Doombar ale sometime. Great channel, awesome content. Cheers.
Don't really need to worry about the Snowdonia Wardens. They're a small group of volunteers that cover the entire 2100km area... They mostly only work during the day and the likelihood of one of them coming across you is next to nil. And even if they do, they're generally sound.
Hi Liam, newish to your channel. Love your approach and attitude to life. Bringing back some great memories for me as I loved hiking in my youth. Make thge most of it mate. Thanks for some great videos.
Me and my mate took the most of it this weekend in feb, sunny Saturday and Sunday so we both went for a hike on Peak District and yorkshire dales, great content mate
Fideo gwych mêt! / Great video mate! Great to see you using local ingredients for your food - that's the proper way to do it! A lot of tourists come here and just buy bog standard supermarket food, but we have so much amazing unique local produce that people miss like the Conwy beer you had Also the traditional way of having the Welsh cakes is with a layer of butter on top as you suggested! That's the way to have them, when they are just out the oven/griddle If you are looking for a more remote hike in Wales, I would recommend the Cambrian Mountains in the mid-west of Wales. It was proposed as a National Park back in the 70s but was unsuccessful. It's as beautiful as Eryri (Snowdonia) or Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) but it's more untouched and remote Pob lwc am y daith nesaf!
Ah yes mate - can’t beat this. Great to see you had such a great experience in Snowdonia. It really is one of the most incredible locations in the UK. Looking forward to seeing you document more of your trips to national parks. Dartmoor has gotta be calling soon?
Great video Liam again. Iam off to the brecon beakins in april on my motorbike and after watching this iam going to head off up snowden for a day cheers buddy
Just came back from Snowdonia. Drove on up to Chester. Was great weather on Sunday. Look forward to watching the video. Keep it up. Get on with trying to cook some fish. I watch Mav on UA-cam.

Lol the first few seconds was him walking away from the camera and then a drone shot, keep it real
The thing I do enjoy about these films are that they don’t contain any unnecessary edits or silly music. Back to original & down to earth, very real videos. All the best Liam & onwards & upwards!
one of the people that deserve the views and attention he gets. makes you want to get out there, how happy you can be when you get away from it all
