  • I did some research online and I cannot find anything that is simple and easy. So I think this method might help some user who want to reuse it . And the connection still solid after reuse.

    Just bought some push in connectors and was wondering how to get the wire out. Thanks for the video.

    Thank you for the tip. This part had me stumped cause I too needed to reuse the old one and could not find anything on how to. I used a paper clip and still had to work it a lot, but it worked. Thank you SO much!!! 😊

    Just tried it and 100% works great, you have to do it on the correct side with the text down. Top tip thank you!!!

    Thank you for the excellent tip! I used one of little screw drivers and it worked great - except I broke one wire off in the connector.... Am trying to find a solution

    Thank you!! Larger gauge wires required a bit more effort. Glad I can continue to use these on future projects.

    Just hold on to the wire you want to release, and spin the wago left to right until the wire comes loose.

    They are not wago's they are ideal push wire connectors and to release them you twist and pull.

  • @bylescx
    @bylescx 2 роки тому +13

    Maybe if you read the instructions (at least on real wagos) you will see it says to twist and pull it out....

      There are different brands. Why are you even here?

      I bought these, no directions. these are not meant to be removed. He miss spoke when he said wago, wago are lever nuts, these are just push in.

      @@themaindragon they make all sorts. push in and lever :)
      edit: oh I see what you're saying. b&q sell cheaper ones too but I haven't tried them

      You, my friend, are the mothalovin man! Lol Thank God i glanced at the comments as soon as the video started. You saved me from having to watch 3 minutes of bs to learn something that i could have been told in under 10 seconds lol. This is my first time using these knock off wagos, or any push-in connector thats not the ones ya use on small stranded DC cables and whatnot and the wire wouldnt easily pull out of the connector, so before cranking down and yanking on it and possibly rendering it unusable in the future, i decided to just have a look at how somebody on youtube says to do it lol. And the Lord sent me a blessing in the form of your comment i reckon lol. Thanks again brother. God Bless 👌🏻✌🏻

    Sorry but those are not Wago connectors. They are Ideal In Sure push in connectors. Wago make a push on connector #773, but these are not those.

    This trick doesn’t t work that easy for multi-conductor 2,5 mm^2 wires.

    • @geronimodk
      @geronimodk 2 роки тому

      You're not supposed to put multi-strand conductor in this type of connector anyway (at least that's what WAGO says in their spec sheet)!

    Use a script next time to reduce the “ummmm”s. Thanks for the video!
