DIY how to install Vinyl Luxury Planks (VLP) on stairs and custom nosing
Переглядів 842 роки тому
I've been trying to do this for sometimes already and finally got a few days available to get it started. The result is actually pretty impressive, at least I AM pretty satisfied. And I do give credit to many videos already on UA-cam and I think I got quite a bit idea from theirs and put it together and I think it did pretty well on my project.

How to release the wire from push in connector or wago
Переглядів 84 тис.6 років тому
I did some research online and I cannot find anything that is simple and easy. So I think this method might help some user who want to reuse it . And the connection still solid after reuse.

Thank you for the excellent tip! I used one of little screw drivers and it worked great - except I broke one wire off in the connector.... Am trying to find a solution
Just hold on to the wire you want to release, and spin the wago left to right until the wire comes loose.
That did it. I was struggling the other way 😊
Thank you so much!
fuse back panel, possible door lock getting water on it from detergent box
put this on youtube this is amazing !
Thank you soo much for the video.
Thanks, good to know.
So what was the problem why didn't start and how you fix it
Thank you for the tip. This part had me stumped cause I too needed to reuse the old one and could not find anything on how to. I used a paper clip and still had to work it a lot, but it worked. Thank you SO much!!! 😊
Worked a treat!
Thank you SO MUCH!!! i never thought of pushing a sharp item into the same slot. i tried every other slot LOL

Omg thank you so much !!!
Just bought some push in connectors and was wondering how to get the wire out. Thanks for the video.
Smart idea. I have a different type not working. Pliers are coming out next!
Thank you!! Larger gauge wires required a bit more effort. Glad I can continue to use these on future projects.
Great idea. Thanks!
100% works, you helped me big time. The plier needs to get into the right amount of length. Thank you bro
It worked for me, thanks!
Sorry but those are not Wago connectors. They are Ideal In Sure push in connectors. Wago make a push on connector #773, but these are not those.
Thank you!
Maybe if you read the instructions (at least on real wagos) you will see it says to twist and pull it out....
There are different brands. Why are you even here?
I bought these, no directions. these are not meant to be removed. He miss spoke when he said wago, wago are lever nuts, these are just push in.
@@themaindragon they make all sorts. push in and lever :) edit: oh I see what you're saying. b&q sell cheaper ones too but I haven't tried them
You, my friend, are the mothalovin man! Lol Thank God i glanced at the comments as soon as the video started. You saved me from having to watch 3 minutes of bs to learn something that i could have been told in under 10 seconds lol. This is my first time using these knock off wagos, or any push-in connector thats not the ones ya use on small stranded DC cables and whatnot and the wire wouldnt easily pull out of the connector, so before cranking down and yanking on it and possibly rendering it unusable in the future, i decided to just have a look at how somebody on youtube says to do it lol. And the Lord sent me a blessing in the form of your comment i reckon lol. Thanks again brother. God Bless 👌🏻✌🏻
Thanks
I used a thin meat skewer and it worked a treat thanks buddy.
I like that your the only one who bent the piece of nosing full thickness instead of routering or sawing out relief material. That has got.to make them extremely stronger. Did they bend fairly easy for you once you got them to the optimum temperature?
I AM glad that I you found this to be helpful. This product is from Home Depot, lifeproof 3.59 per sf I love the thickness of their product。 , I AM able to bend it fairly easy, within five minutes. I also make my basement stairs using a different Brand from Home Depot. It's much thinner But it will crack much easier. So I would recommend using the life proof. 👍
Wow thanks so much this is really helpful 👍
Thank you! God bless!
0:56 very sharp cheddar 🧀
sharp tredddah? sharp shreddah? sharp sheddah? sharp cheddar! 🧀🧀🧀
Thank you : )
Make sure it is not Hot wire !!!. Thanks about video, i haven't heard you mentioned it.
🤣 you still alive genius?
Xie Xie that helped me a lot.
They are not wago's they are ideal push wire connectors and to release them you twist and pull.
Dripping the facts!
Thank for sharing this tip!
Brilliant! Can you send a link of the tweezers?
just use a pin it does the same thing
it's sharp cheddar 🧀
Just tried it and 100% works great, you have to do it on the correct side with the text down. Top tip thank you!!!
This trick doesn’t t work that easy for multi-conductor 2,5 mm^2 wires.
You're not supposed to put multi-strand conductor in this type of connector anyway (at least that's what WAGO says in their spec sheet)!
Use a script next time to reduce the “ummmm”s. Thanks for the video!
