I have such a problem with the "ALM" people who detract from an issue that clearly needs attention. Yes all lives matter, but there is a disproportionate level of abuse toward certain groups of people, and that's what needs to be addressed and remedied.

+TheRenegadeStarr I can't either, and I'm white! (As you, too, might be.) The astounding depth of ignorance about the CENTURIES OLD oppression of black Americans, most of whom have families dating back into early colonial America, much more so than most white Americans do, well all I can say is that it's about time that the majority of white Americans got their eyes, ears, minds and hearts opened to reality, harsh as that is here in this supposed "Equal Justice Under Law" USA! That US Supreme Court slogan chiseled into the facade of the Supreme Court building IS NOT YET FULLY TRUE! And furthermore, it took centuries of disruptive protests and NOT just self-serving whining to make the promises of the US Constitution apply to the many, many more people to whom it applies today. Remember (or, for those prideful ignoramuses about TRUE American history, LEARN) that it was not until MANY DECADES AFTER the US Constitution was ratified in 1787 that more than just WEALTHY, LAND OWNING, WHITE, MALE AMERICANS could even vote! And even then, ALL American women could not vote until 1920 - and even for many years thereafter, the right to vote for women was only begrudgingly granted by the exact same sort of obstructionist government bureaucrats and elected officials who today defiantly refuse to give same-sex couples marriage licenses and persist in prejudicial denunciations of LGBT+ Americans! And as for the black Americans' right to vote, that was briefly granted after the UTTERLY TREASONOUS Southern States took up arms against the USA, caused a deadly conflict that they stated in ALL of their articles of secession (a synonym for treasonous rebellion) was to preserve slavery, and then that armed rebellion claimed about ONE MILLION AMERICAN LIVES, well that brief right to vote was quickly taken away once American Military Forces were withdrawn from the former Confederate States causing the collapse of Reconstruction and the revocation of black voting rights throughout the South. Even in this 21st century we are seeing what federal courts are describing as "surgical precision" voting registration laws passed that have once again taken the right to vote away from all too many 1,000's of black Americans! OF COURSE IT STILL NEEDS TO BE LOUDLY DECLARED: Black Lives Do Indeed Matter, or at least THEY SHOULD, just as much as every other American life when faced with the GUN TOTING LIFE & DEATH POWER OF THE POLICE, the LIBERTY & LIFE DEPRIVING POWER OF THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM, as well as the centuries old struggles to maintain the right to vote, the right to lodging and food without prejudice, and ALL the other rights and privileges granted by the US Constitution so unquestioningly enjoyed by the wealthy, straight, white and thereby the most influential of Americans without question for centuries! Often during these troubled periods of acute ignorance and willful disinterest in the factual history of America, I get so very disoriented from shaking my head in disbelief all too many times. But one sharp focus I shall always maintain is seeking out the historical truth and present day reality, no matter how some people of privilege may whine about US Constitutional Progress being the “disruptive” cause of their momentary discomfort, WHEN IN REALITY IT HAS BEEN THEIR UNQUESTIONED PRIVILEGE BEING CALLED OUT AS INEQUALITY THAT IS THE FOUNDATION OF THEIR ANGER AND FEAR!

@@spikefivefivefivevery late but…black on black crime or even black crime in general stems from the majority of black people being in poverty which stems all the way until after slavery. Poverty DIRECTLY links with crime and you can see that in every race , areas where black on black crime is high is where black poverty is higher this is why black people push for reparations to build generational wealth in the black community.

Bottom line is discrimination is based on conditioning through guilt and fear premise at a young age. Our species still uses judgement on issues instead of looking our connectiveness to each other as spiritual energies.
The premise that we are one in connective spirituality could go a long way in eliminating STRIFE.
Until we grow up in this area as a species you will continued arguments between couples, family members, community members and nations.
But this comment requires we look at the big picture and many have difficulty with this idea.
