Do you feel like you wasted your 20s or are you in your 20s now and feel like you're getting nowhere?

It’s funny, because people who worked through their 20s will say they wished they just had fun instead

But you were a doctor, a fireman, a plumber, a stepded and more in your twenties. Pretty productive twenties if you ask me 👀

Yes I wasted my 20s and I regret it. I really hope I can figure out this coding journey at 41. If you are in your 20s now just keep coding and working and learn to invest your money, read as many books as you can don't waste your time drinking and partying it's honestly way overrated. And hit the gym hard. Your 40 old self will thanks you.

If you grind in your 20's, your 30's can be like your 20's but with money

27 and yes. I didn't exactly waste my time having fun, I wasted my youth being confused and not knowing what I want... I regret it

I hate this idea that when you're in your 20s you're supposed to travel, have children, invest, start a risky buisiness endeavor, get an education, settle down, sew your wild oats... all opposing things and the only thing you're going to regret is not being 5 different people.

This video should be titled "Making up for lost time after having a family because I wasted my time pre-family." If you don't have kids, you have the exact same amount of time, daily, at 35 as you did at 25

There’s a proverb that says, “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is today.”

I used to think I wasted my twenties. But man I feel like I really took advantage of them and got as much joy out of them as I could. Got a lot of neat memories so no regrets.

This is not about age, this is about balance. The reason you did not do anything fun in your 20s is because you worked towards being in a stable place in your 30s. Later in life it feels like there is money and no time now, but the reason there is no time is because of responsiblities that increased your income. How much money are you willing to give up to have more time (to spend with kids or in hobbies). it's about balancing your responsibilities against your leisure time.

I'm at that point at 29. Did nothing with my life and now I'm just trying to get used to being on camera, coding, writing and investing. I'm learning all this new technology and have no direction on my channel but I'll figure it out.

I’m 26, I wasted most by partying, dropping out of college, depressed and focused on relationships too much.(currently in one lol) but I just made the decision to go back to school again for medical and finally having the feeling that I’m on the right track…feels good!

I’ve seen 60 year olds starting new careers sometimes simply for passion. As long as you didn’t harm others during your lull periods it’s all good. Don’t worry about it 👌🏾

I wasted 18-25 partying and wasting time. Went back to school at 25 and became a programmer. 29 now and i am happy about my career, i'm financially stable and still have the freedom to explore new things. I was naively optimistic and idealistic, and in retrospect i needed to waste those years to learn some hard lessons and become a more grounded person. In that sense, it was never a waste, it was just part of the journey.

pushing 45 I clearly understand what is being said in this video! However, I would like to add my own realization (that I was hoping you would talk about in the video as well) to this whole idea of realizing how those younger years were wasted - is that there is no time good enough to start than "now"! no matter what age you are in, you can and should still try to do all the stuff you wanted to do and probably missed due to whatever reasons! Thats because, I now wish if I were 10 years younger I could still be doing so many things! Its not just how time got wasted but how one might be still losing/wasting time thinking it cannot be done! I hope I was clear enough. Sorry if I wasnt.

Thanks for keeping it real! I’m 27 now, but I spent most of my 20s in a severely depressed/psychotic state after becoming a young mom. I honestly didn’t plan on living long enough to worry. I never came up with a solid plan. Now, as my son is getting older I realize I NEED to build a solid foundation so I can pass it down to him and his kids someday. That’s what my grandparents were able to do for all of us.

This has nothing to do with whether you're in your 20s or 30s. It has everything to do with whether you have your own family or not. A dude can have a family at 21 and still have all the same problems you're facing right now. Many of us childless men in our 30s can not relate, bro.

Changed my career to Dev at 30, it's been 3 years, very very hard almost there, running a startup now, still struggling but almost there...but I don't regret cause I just didn't get the right opportunities at my 20s. Sometimes the uncontrollable forces of life still smash your dreams but the trick is to not give up. Young people listen to this man.

I am in my 20s now and I started feeling I wasted my 10s so I am trying to make for it now
