Brrrrooooo my issue with it at starting in my 40’s… is that I also don’t want to wait really for 3 years in school. Take 1 year pre requisite and then possibly wait to even see if I can get in the 2 yr program

thinking of going to a trade school for this because most community colleges have a long waitlist but it’s 60k for the program for the trade school
Bryan It’s not worth $60K bro
You will NEVER pay that back.
Be patient and go to a community college for $10K or even free if you get Finacial Aid.
@@thexrayzone the trade school offers financial aid too so i’m thinking it would more realistically be down around 30k 🤔
Still not worth it bro but at the end of the day it’s up to you my brotha.

@@thexrayzone Genuinely curious as to why you would say he’s never going to pay that back?
As long as the trade school is accredited to take the ARRT, why wouldn’t he be able to pay that back within a couple of years.
It’s a figure of speech because life happens.
People get married, buy a house, have kids, new car ect….
The last thing you are thinking about is paying off your student loan.
If you don’t mind taking your time and paying it off in 20 years than that’s ok to each their own.
If you sit back and think or do the Math a $50,000 loan with interest to go to school & you pay it off within the 20 years your paying possibly about $150,000K or more.

So it actually depends what school you go to.
A traditional public college it takes about 3 years with prerequisites but there’s a few Private colleges that can take a little as 18 months.

I’m glad your husband is interested in Radiology but if he wants to do the program he would have to find a night or evening because the Radiology program is 2 years and it’s a day time program.

Scale 1-10 how challenging is becoming a radiologist tech ? Im interested in this career path
I would say 7 but at the end of the day it’s how much effort you put into it.
It’s as hard as you make it 💪🏽💯

Honestly no I didn’t have to do an interview sorry but I’m sure if they did do one some of the questions would be.....
