@@arseven3137 No, I have been out of school for 5 years and working as a PTA mostly in the skilled nursing setting as well as home health and orthopedic outpatient. All I can say is that you should do your research thoroughly before selecting PTA. Don’t just go by what some presentation said from the college admissions center. Dig deep to find out if you think it’s really a good fit for you.
You’re the person that inspired me to believe in myself and commit to PTA and and I’m suppose to start clinical’s next semester. It’s makes me sad and worried that you left the field but also makes me think of being a pta while pursuing other dreams on the side and seeing where my hobbies and passions take me.
Same @Rayvenger93! This video spoke to me. I have been having the HARDEST time deciding on PT or PTA...been on the fence for a while, but this has given me something else to think about. I DO have various interests and enjoy them all. Thank you for the inspiration!
@@annnicole7490 hey there, what did you decide? Im 19, looking into getting back to school, I am really considering PTA, ive seen it takes about 4 years, what are your thoughts
Your videos were a huge factor in my decision to go back to school last year into a PTA program. I just finished my first clinical yesterday and absolutely loved it! Thank you so much for all of the great information, and I'm so happy you decided to work towards your passions just as you have motivated countless others, including myself, to do the same. Best of luck!
I came across your videos a few years ago when I was considering becoming a PTA. I went down a different path but want to thank you for your insight into the field.
Have practiced as a PTA for 30 years. I have loved the field and working to assist with recovery of health and function for people of all ages. My greatest epiphany was realizing the poor trade of time for money. moving to per visit home health gave me a breath of fresh air allowing increased flexibility and an ability to make considerable more money. Good to hear you followed your passion. I''m currently attempting to move in a new direction.
If PTA was really such a great field you wouldn’t be moving in a new direction. I’m a PTA myself and the longer I do it the more I realize this career is a clown job. Run around all day telling someone to wiggle their ankles in bed and do some kicks with a weight that they could lift with their pinky finger muscle…like that’s really going to significantly strengthen Gertrude’s quads so she can walk better…no no no!! It’s a joke and a sham just like the therapeutic ultrasound garbage.
@@user-hn9qg5qm3o you don’t mention how long you’ve practiced therapy. But after probably a decade of practice and having the opportunity to teach at a PTA program I too came to a similar conclusion. Although I wouldn’t call it a clown job at all. You have to keep it functional IMO for it to truly be beneficial. I agree that many of the treatments and modalities that are often offered are lame and ineffective. However that is where keeping it simple yet creative can make it enjoyable.
@@redrider8036 It’s a clown job because the PTs run around doing the same functional bullcrap that the CNAs do themselves and yet the PT field is supposed to be doing “skilled therapy.” I could literally teach a 14 year old to do this job. It’s not as “skilled” as they try to claim it is. And also when all you do is “functional” stuff the patients look at you like you really are a clown. The look in their eyes is “You want me to stand up from this chair?…and then what? Just stand here for 2 minutes? Ohh..you want me to move over to sit on the edge of the bed? What for?”
@@user-hn9qg5qm3o I totally get where you’re coming from. However I have a great appreciation and respect for the senior/elderly population, and I have focused on establishing a simple activity routine that they can and will perform in order to get them to the level of function that is possible. I tend at my age to purposefully not pay attention to what the “sick-care” system demands.
It’s crazy that I just started watching your videos a couple of days ago. So once I saw your title I was like “NOOO” 😂 Thank you so much for all of your help. I hope everything works out for you.
🤣🤣 Me tooo...I've watched 3 this morning and then I saw this and thought..."WHAAAA???...IS THAT???? OH WOW .. NOOOOOOOO" 😭😭😭 But that's ok. I'm happy for you. I love your personality and drive from the couple of older vids I watched. So I'm glad/proud that you've found a way to grow more and be even happier. You literally LOOK happy. You're glowing, beaming with pride in this video. Congratulations 👏
hey Antonio! I’m a nurse for about 5 years now and during the pandemic I rediscovered my first passion which is content creation and photography! Just launched my own website 2 months ago and I’m taking digital marketing classes now. I hope I’ll be where you are within the next few years! Happy for you! Great job and good luck!
So happy to hear you’re moving on to something you love. I’ve been watching you for over a year now and you had a pretty big influence on my decision to pursue PTA school. I just finished my second week of it and I’m loving it! Thank you for making quality, informational content about the field and I’m excited to see you SOAR
I am preparing for my PTA interview and this is how I came across your channel. After watching some of your videos about PTA, I am surprised that you quit being a PTA. The things that you mentioned in this video about career change inspired me. I think I'm at the moment where I have to decide whether to jump off the cliff or not. I have been in the education field for nearly 6 years, recently I moved From HK to the UK, where I faced a huge change in my job and I'm not sure if I still want to be a teacher. Then I got this interview opportunity, maybe this is the point of my life where I need to jump. Thanks for your video!
Ugh !! you were my fav UA-camr for PTA info and motivation... and you're the 2nd UA-camr that switched out of the PTA career, which makes me feel a little uneasy as I start my 1st clinicals this summer and head into my 2nd year in the fall.. 😐 Good luck on your following your passion..
Congratulations man, I worked in digital marketing for 7 years and switched to PT school. I just finished my first year. You certainly have the personality to be good at digital marketing.
@Cool N Chill hey guys. Is it stressful or gross or anything like that? I am interested in this as well, but I hear some bad things like what I mentioned.
@Ko Jin not a bad idea. I would say, it depends if you want to do it for yourself or for another company. The bad think about digital marketing for others is that you don’t need a license to work as one. Therefore, you are completing with a lot of people who can sell their services better than you but not necessarily doing a better job. A lot of people claim to be great at it, but only a few give their clients their moneys’ worth. Also it is hard to learn how to run digital campaigns in a way that they makes financial sense. There aren’t many people who are willing to show you their secret to success in advertising. I think you have a great idea, just in marketing don’t worry about making mistakes. 👍
Antonio, I first wanted to say that it takes a lot of courage to step away from something that’s comfortable and to change careers which often comes with risk and faith so I admire you for that. Secondly, I too do videography and have been following your channel for a while now. I was accepted into a PTA program, started in Jan. and passed all but one of my exams which knocked me out of the program. It was sad and frustrating at first but now I see it as a blessing. You see, I do videography as well and really enjoy telling peoples stories. That’s what I love more than any other career. So I’ve decided to do that full time and might go back to school for PTA one day or I may not. It’s interesting how it all works out. It’s more than okay to change careers. Wishing you the very best!
Love this comment! I agree. It’s not into you go down a path that you pause and reflect on all the moments that brought you to this point. Maybe a blessing in disguise! I wish you well on your journey.
You’re an inspiration bro just started PTA school and I have ADHD find it hard to focus but I have so much passion for Physiotherapy that I’m going to do it I already work at the hospital as a cleaner for the last 3 years
Bro I have ADHD and have trouble focusing as well, and I want to be a PT! But I’m currently researching PTA and deciding two make it a plan B if I can’t make it to PT school
Man this is really enlightening. That's cool you found something that clicks for you and will ultimately make you more money too. I've seen a lot of people get out of nursing in the last few years. A couple of them do some online stuff that allows them to be at home. Funny thing is, they say they feel they are helping more people now!
I’ve watched your videos since 2019 right before I went into an OTA program. I understood that there are a lot of differences, but there are some similarities & most of the information you gave was applicable to me as well. I finally graduated in the fall of 2020 and got my first job at a SNF. Loads different from outpatient. I did have an opportunity to do PRN work at an outpatient clinic and I absolutely loved it and I now see why you did too. I wish you all the best of luck in your endeavors, man. Thank you for all that you’ve done. 🙏🏽
Thank you for this video! I watched your PTA video when I first became licensed. I lasted 6 months in the field and new this was not the correct fit for me. I knew during clinicals - every day was an uncomfortable struggle, but I finished what I started to get the degree. I thought getting a college degree (even at the age of 50) was the correct thing to do. Wrong! The correct thing to do is what makes you happy daily. I currently go to work excited to do my job. I make less money, but I am HAPPY and not filled with anxiety every morning. Can't thank you enough for sharing this video....all the best to you!
That is exactly when I knew I didn't want to stay in the field. I was a tech in an outpatient clinic for 3 years before I even went through a pta program and worked there while in school and loved it but when I got into my second clinical rotation it hit me that I don't want to do this. I'm in school now for massage therapy and LOVE IT. It's similar but focused on just one modality and I have more freedom to make treatment plans and will still be able to apply knowledge from pta school
Incredible journey, man. Thanks for always helping those around you, and putting out so much good content. I'm a Navy Corpsman (among other things), and now making the leap to start PTA school next week. Really appreciate all your honesty and transparency. You've helped quite a bit of people, and it's great to see you evolving into something you love even more. You deserve it, my friend. Hope you keep putting out a few things here and there so people know they can always transition into other things that might be better for them. Plus, people love to have someone to root for. Much love, Antonio.
I’m so proud of you! You are an inspiration! I’m looking into the graphic design career. I have been taking courses, working on a capstone project now and practicing the different softwares.
Nice! The way you went about finding your path is pretty much the ideal way. You did it by first doing something that gave your time meaning, then slowly you developed the skills as you say, to trade your time for more value. For those who haven't committed their time to even one thing, i would say that's the first place to start. From there allow yourself to grow to the next endeavor 🙂
You have a gift doing what you’re doing whether it’s in PT or video editing. I am so glad our paths have crossed. I have learned so much from you and it has helped my career blossom.
Best of luck! Thank you for your helpful PTA videos. I’ve been watching you since I decided to apply to my PTA program. I just graduated in May, have a job lined up, and take my boards on Friday. Your videos have helped answer so many of my questions throughout my schooling. Glad you are finding joy in your new career!
Hey Antonio! That's some great content you got there. Absolutely love it! You are literally the person I want to become. As an Indian physiotherapist, wanting to come to Canada to work as a PTA and PT later and having an interest in digital marketing as well, I absolutely relate to everything you said. Good job taking that leap and you know what, we miss 100% of the shots we don't take. Would definitely live to meet you someday. Cheers 😄
Antonio you are the man I watched your earlier vids and got laid off from personal training during the onset of COVID due to gyms closing down. I decided to be a PT tech and now am in a PTA program my long term goals is to save enough to start a personal training studio in my local city.
I was waiting for the Gut Punch but what I heard.... is that took you going in the direction that you traveled initially, to find your passion and your niche....I am so happy for you and thank you so much for sharing all of the videos. Thank You. You have been a great help to me and my getting this thing going for the moment and deciding why would I do this right now.
2/3 of the way through the video I almost teared up. You did change peoples life. Thank you sm. Bc of covid I switched my sub plan from PTA to PT. I hope to go all the way 💙 I hope it is worth it like you mentioned. I’m that 20 year old hopeful kid that just wants to help. Thank you sm. Hope everything goes well. 🙏🏽
Thank you so much for sharing! I resigned from a 70k job to pursue physical therapy and I cry everyday about it but your experience gives me a little hope.
I've been watching your videos since I was in the middle of my PTA program around 2019/2020. I even bought your "Determined Physical Therapist Assistant" t-shirt in the height of covid when I was discouraged and not sure if I'd be able to finish my clinical rotations. Your videos have always answered some of the questions I've had about the career that weren't addressed in my program, and I am thankful for that! You also have a super down to earth, relatable personality that was easy to learn from. I'm so excited for you to follow your passions!! I have always done photography on the side in addition to pursuing physical therapy, so I totally know how it feels. I hope you keep making videos about where your life takes you!!
Hey, I started watching your videos when I started to research for a career in PTA. I’m currently on my first semester of my PTA program and I’m loving it. Keep doing your thing. I’m happy that you are pursuing your dream!
Hey Antonio, I’ve been following your videos for a while now and vividly remember watching all your videos as I was applying to my clinicals. I’m in my last clinical (inpatient acute care) and taking boards in October. I agree with what you said, there isn’t much room to move up as a PTA (idk why they let OTA become OTs a lot easier). I def wanted to do videography too as an asset to my skill set. I highly agree with your career choice, time is money and you have more control with what you currently do. Wish you the best brother keep us updated.
Just subscribed as you sound like such an amazing person, great video quality topped up with your touch of personality and you've got an amazing creative entrepreneurial mindset like setting up your own clinic, stocks, youtube videos etc. Thank you for the insight and keep up the great work!! 👍
Good luck with your new career! I think you're smart and dedicated and will be successful with anything you try. Thanks for all the great videos showcasing and helping people with their own PT/PTA careers. I wish there was this level of in-depth guidance for all careers. I'm on the other side, a career programmer who's tired of sitting at a desk for 10+ years and wondering what it would be like to be a PT or PTA...
Antonio I just stumbled upon your video and I love it! You're a cool ass dude and you've given me great insight into the field as I just began a PTA program.
I too left the field, but much earlier on while going to school and working as a PT Aide. It just wasn’t a good fit, and sadly the insurance providers are only allowing shorter visits with patients. I didn’t like pushing patients through quick sessions like cattle. It stressed me out, I could make human connection, it was rushed chit chat and I was exhausted every day. Unless the healthcare system changes to where the quality of time with patients rather the quantity of patients in a day is valued, more of us will quit. On a happy note, I always enjoy your authentic self videos and your cat. BTW, your cats is on the chunky side (I’m an ex vet tech) so I can say that without being judgmental but rather observant. Less dry and more canned food and walks/exercise. Love the videos! Definitely interested in investing, maybe share info about your trusted sources on online investment. Thank you.
I have been watching you since you started making videos. I appreciate your transparency man. This takes guts especially that you opened up your own clinic. I am a PTA as well and I definitely do not want to increase and go for my DPT. I feel like i would do myself a disservice And my family bc of the time and money. I love being a pta and I have been doing a lot of other things to break up the monotony. I have been running my own podcast for PT and also have been grooming my clothing line over the years. I eve I would like to Open up a stretch/wellness clinic and then when I get older I would like to teach to save my body. My dad has also told me you gotta have your trade and your passion, your trade fuels the funds for your livelihood and passion and your passion gives you that escape you need from your trade. Take care man I best of luck to you in the future! Your videos definitely helped over the years.
@@AntonioSanson thank you man! The podcast is called the Physical Therapy Session. I actually did an episode regarding getting a side hustle to dabble in others things besides PT. It helps when you have that outlet podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/physical-therapy-session/id1522355442
That’s crazy man I’ve been watching you for the past 3-4 years and you really motivated to want to become a PTA. I was in a program last year 2020 and I actually quit this year back in May because of all the upcoming pay cuts I was hearing about. I’m now doing a Java programming bootcamp and I really like it so far. I’m glad you are doing good too!
Good for you taking that leap of faith! 👏 I'm doing the exact same but with becoming a PTA from the Security field of all things lol I'm 33 but being a PTA is the only thing that sounds desirable enough to invest so much time, effort and money into for me personally... I'm excited for this new chapter
Hey brother. I have been following your journey for a while and I am so proud of you. I am currently studying for the TEAS test to get into the PTA program after getting my Associates in Business Admin and realizing that it wasn't for me. After becoming a PTA I want to work in the field for a few years and eventually open up my own training studio for trainers and massage therapist. I just feel that becoming a PTA first is a good way to make connections, have a stable income (im a single dad) and gain experience. Any thoughts about my plan? Thanks and best wishes!
I became a PTA the same year as you, and I have left the field as well. A DPT is low ROI for high debt. PT is a “burn and turn” field- high productivity expectations, unpaid overtime, and ridiculous productivity standards. Im out of the field as well.
I agree with you. It makes me sick to see these weird characters that say “Oh I just love being a PTA yada yada.” I have been a PTA for 5 years and have yet to see the greatness of this field. If anything all I’ve seen is mostly people that do not care about doing PT and are just in it because their doctor ordered it. Everything you said is true from my experience too. Productivity unreasonably high causing you to have to become a sloppy therapist that can only do the bare minimum because you don’t have time to get too into it. I’m so glad I Sam out of this field. Even all the co-workers I met in the field always seemed strange like they secretly hated the job too but will never admit it. They all act like they’re bound to the cult of PT.
Thanks for making this video Antonio. Im currently thinking of attending a course in PTA. I love working with people and physical fitness. My last job was working at a assisted living center. Seeing the residents day in and day out with deformity's and amputations helped me to see past there physical condition and connect with something deeper. Im not sure if I will always be a PTA, but seeing how you were able to use the PTA carrier to follow your dreams in new way is very inspiring. There's still some doubt in my mind but like Steve Harvey said I gotta jump. Thanks agian, much love!
something I recently heard was that is okay to move and try new things. I think we are always told that ones you have that job/carrier that you are done and you will always be that, but in really life changes everyday and we must follow. this is why people often feel stuck. but I am glad you toke that jump and follow your new interest. also I am planing to go back to school and become a PTA and honestly your videos have help so much and I hope that whatever you do in life it makes you happy. ❤️
I watched your videos a week ago and I started to love your videos so much it got me to PT career so much and then when I saw your title I was like "Whyyyyyyyy😂😂😂😂" but you still got me to this career you didn't let me down when you quit and that's the best thing that you didnt say anything wrong or bad about this career and that is what got me in it so much and I really hope everything goes well to you I wish you all the best I love your videos so much they are so much fun and helpful 😁😁😁😁😁
I think you did the right thing by leaving PTA behind. With the new changes that have happened over the last few years and the new changes coming up in January 2022, I think walking away from not only PTA, but OTA is a good long term decision if your an assistant. I have an OTA friend who just moved to Canada to excape the decling jobs for assistants and cuts in pay, and she's very happy now. I left my OTA career behind 7 years ago after I couldn't find a job due to all the new grads out there. Best decision I ever made though I still miss my patients. Anyone looking at a career as a PTA/OTA run, run as fast as you can and don't look back because the end is near.
This is definitely encouraging. I feel that I may need to watch it daily. I'm taking baby steps into switching career s but haven't quite found my niche. Tbh I never wanted to be a PTA. I have an art degree and wanted to be a photographer. But the economy crashed and I've been a PTA for 11 years. I'd say I actually enjoyed it maybe 5 of those years. Staying in the for so long has made it hard for me to feel comfortable moving elsewhere, but my mind keeps telling me you don't like PT. Tried being a teacher's assistant because I thought that's a Job where I get to move around and talk to people. It's okay but didn't feel that aha! This is it moment. Something along the lines of party planning, photography and puppies. If you have any advice for someone scared of risks but who desperately needs to take one, please let me know. Anyone feel free. Thanks for showing us it can be done! ❤
I’m with you. This PTA career is not at all what the schools make it out to be. It’s not this glamorous wonderful career you look forward to going to each day. It’s actually the opposite and drains your soul.
I want you to know you were very helpful to me as I was preparing to go to school for PTA. I chose another path as well. I'm a lot older than you. It's good to see you learning from life experiences and taking advantage of that! I really enjoyed your videos and wish you luck and happiness in your career, love and life!
Starting a PTA Program this Fall and I was wondering how you felt about working as a PTA and how you would see it as a full time career that’ll help set you up financially in the future? Wanted to get any pointers on what I can do post graduation to make the most of the certification.
This is so awesome! Proud of you 👏🏽 I do photography on the side and my goal is too build that on the side as well as be a PTA. Just graduated and taking the boards soon 😅
Congrats Antonio, I'm glad PT in a way helped you find your new passion! Your videos have been a tremendous help. It gave me lots of insight in the PTA career which was difficult to find. I've never thought of sticking to one career but of always trying something new. I'm glad someone thinks the same. Can't wait for the new content that's to come 🙌
Selling your skill not your time, simple but powerful. Thanks for the vid. I’m debating transitioning PTA-DPT, or investing into something else. Good to hear your perspective.
Thank you for making this video. I'm a licensed PTA but I've been having the hardest time finding a job. I've felt myself worth plummet because of it. And I honest started out that same as you, not knowing if I wanted to do this or not. While all my classmates had previous experience in or around the field. This gave me hope and new sense of drive. So thank you
Hey, Antonio Best of luck with your new path! I have actually been working towards getting into a PTA program and your videos have helped me a lot! My current full-time job is in digital marketing and I have been managing campaigns for the last 3 years. If you ever have questions about digital marketing or running a campaign hit me up!
After breaking my leg in January, I’ve had so much pt since but this has caused me to get really interested into it and I want to become a pta or pt one day
I appreciate you sharing your story, I have been a subbie for a couple of years now and loved following your content. I work as a Rehab Therapy tech at a number on e trauma center (non profit hospital) and now at the nursing home associated/under the hospital. I feel burnt out man and constantly reconsidering my goals. I am conflicted between Respiratory or OTA as a backup because my dream of becoming an OT is getting harder and harder with working a full time job + a part time and in school for prerequisites plus I’m about to turn 27 in a week and some change I’m getting too old not to make money. You have enlightened to view other avenues related to OT and could have a fresh impact on the culture of OT. Thank you for sharing and if you have any time to reply back I would love to chat more on how I can become apart of something new!
I remember when I left the big four-year university and was completely screwed and didn’t know what to do. I watched all your physical therapy videos. I’m so glad you found something you like and you’re good at. I’m still trying to figure out what I like and what I’m good at.
@@Eileenfarrell222 I ended up being a stripper and thengoing into respiratory therapy. One of the best choices I ever made. Both incomes have put me in places I didn’t think was possible 😃
@@highvalue1195 how did you get into respiratory therapy? I'm Looking to go into PTA school once I finish my bacholers but I'm just confused on exactly what I want to do :(
@@Eileenfarrell222 it’s only an associates degree. You take the pre recs at community college (cheaper) or a 4 year but the field doesn’t require a bachelors so it’s useless. Apply to the program and finish the program then sit for the two boards.
Congrats bro on taking the jump and doing what you like and not limiting yourself of your skill, As a PTA myself I can relate to you and your career change because that’s something i wanna do to down the road. Shit i just even started taking a Digital marketing and e-commerce course lol. Best of luck to you and your goals. ❤️
I'm a little nervous now lmao. I'm the same age and in the same position you described yourself as, I don't really know what I want to do but I just want to be on my feet, making a comfortable salary that I can support myself with, and don't want to go to school for a long period of time. My only other idea was to work in human services, but it makes less money for more schooling... I just want to help people in some fashion. I've also learned that animal PTs exist and it motivates me to maybe move up to being a PT rather than a PTA in the future. I'm very afraid of being put at a dead end though. Why do we have to choose so soon?! Haha, I'm glad for the honesty though. I still have a lot to think about but being a pta still seems like the leading route for me so far because my community College offers a program. Good luck, and keep us updated :)
Antonio, love your videos man!! I also felt limited in my PTA career, which is why I decided to pursue the DPT bridge program. I will find out in August if I got in or not. I know you said you weren't willing to commit the time/money to become a DPT but did you ever consider the bridge format? Good luck with your future endeavors!
That’s great! I just didn’t want to bring on more debt and go down that route but I did consider it. I think it’s actually a really good thing to do if you’re a PTA looking to become a PT. That is what I would do if I was going to become a PT.
Hi Antonio! I'm sorry to see that you left the field of physical therapy, but so happy you have found something, through your time as a PTA, that you love even more. I did just want to add that there are other doors that may open for those who choose PTA, other than just going to be a PT. Many of our grads go on to be clinic managers or supervisors, and sometimes very soon into their career. Also, as a PTA, you are able to teach in a PTA Program. We have actually hired many of our grads to teach in our program at Baker College. But ultimately, it should be the love of patient care and the love for helping others that get you in the field in the first place. I wish you the best of luck and if I ever need any digital media, I'll look you up for sure! :)
Hey Erin! like I said with my other comment, I love your thoughts on this. I would love to chat with you again if I can get ahold of the marketing department with Baker to set up another conversation with you. Hope they get back with me. It would be cool for you to share this online if you and the college are open to it. Hope to chat soon. Reach out to me here if you want: sansonantonio13@gmail.com
You are awesome 💯 i'll reach out to you someday! Me and my wife plans to open our own PT clinic soon!! - I think you'll be a really good life coach also 👍
Ayo!!! I was watching your videos ever since I was in highschool bro, now I’m in the pta program and what your doing seems a bit more fun and exciting! I’m a bit bummed out lol But I’m glad you doing what you love now 💯
Former SNF rehab director and PTA here for a large staffing company. You made the right choice. With all of the Medicare budget cuts and PDPM in the SNF setting, we therapists have way more to do for less money. Coincidentally there’s actually a new Medicare budget cut starting in early 2024… I recently decided to go back to school for computer science to become a software engineer. That leap of faith you mentioned is truly scary at first but it feels liberating in the long run. Still in school but I feel blessed! I had to maintain 50% productivity as a rehab director. It’s ridiculous that a rehab director has to treat patients why making sure a department is running well. It’s definitely a hallmark of an industry not doing well when a manager is forced to the same work the employees are doing to “save costs.” I understand covering for an employee call off or poor staffing, no problem there but to spend 4 hours out of my day consistently having to treat patients on top executing all my duties just to save money is absolutely ridiculous to me. Mind you I was a rehab director for a large therapy staffing company that is present in nearly all 50 states, not some small operation. You all most likely have heard of my company’s name. To give more background. I ran not only a SNF operation but a geriatric outpatient program as well. I was primarily the only one driving the marketing for our program for the retirement community/CCRC I was working for. I gave presentations to the retirement community spreading awareness about therapy and pro bono balance screenings that spent lots of time to prepare. Plus the pay is only around $5 hourly more than a regular PTA/COTA if you’re a PTA, same deal for PT/OT/SLP in regards to a registered therapist’s income. Regional director’s salary is not much higher than either. Financially it makes no sense to pursue this position of leadership. Don’t forget SNF therapy employees NEVER get raises unless they have to threaten their bosses. The same went for me as a rehab director and my time as a treating PTA. Do not become SNF rehab director, in 2023 almost 2024. Why being a SNF therapist isn’t worth it in 2023 is due to much more work for much less pay with much less focus/attention to patients who are in need of care. Typically in SNFs these days you only get to treat patients for 30min treatment sessions and are expected to have multiple group therapy sessions per week that give absolutely no benefit to patients. Groups typically run between 3-6 patients per group. No benefit to doing this, the higher ups in all therapy companies know this but still greatly push for this so they can save money. It’s cheaper to pay a therapist to treat 6 patients at the same time versus 1 patient. It’s absolute BS. Sorry for the long post but I’m tired of seeing patients and therapists getting screwed by the therapy company establishments and Medicare. And I just wish there was more awareness being spread regarding the corporate side of large therapy companies and how Medicare budget cuts are seriously decreasing the quality of care and exploiting hard working therapists.
Its like you and me connected coincidentlly just now like bro to bro. Its just because not only Ive been following your first video of Day in the life of PTA in 2018, I just graduated from PTA, passed the boards, and now looking for work. Ive felt so accomplished and watching your videos felt like you were there with me as a guide. And its also the fact I just watch a steve harvey motivational speech just before I saw this video too LOLOL! Because Im now at the stage where you exactly were. Im just now finding that leap of faith to what I want to do because PTA is a rewarding job for me, but I know that it may not be the career I want to do the rest of my life. Im now trying to look forward to get back into my passion as a career- martial arts related type. So just like the Daft punk epilogue video, all great things must come to an end for a newer and better journey! I thank you for all these years youve used your guidance.
I just started studying psychology and in like two weeks i realized that this is not my thing, and i don't want to spend my life doing something i don't like. Im thinking either finishing this year or finishing my bachelor's in another area and jump into PTA. It's the first thing that i've known about that actually motivates me, so im gonna make the jump. And thank you for your guidance, helped a lot more than you realize
Good for you! I love everyone of you’re videos. I’ve been a PTA going on 10 years. Do think PTAS have it rough now? So many changes I hear. Especially with the 85 percent reimbursement in 2022.
Congratulations, your video is very helpful I’m currently debating if I should do PTA or wait because there is a waiting list of 4 years for Radiology Tech and the counselor suggested PTA. I also have a AA degree in Graphic Design already so I can see myself doing some work like you!
I just graduated PTA school last year. I passed the board in October and it took me till April 2021 to find a place to hire me. I applied to everything. I’m only PRN and it seems full time positions are impossible to find. I really thought this was my passion but you’re right, I spend my whole day treating patients and come home just to eat, go to bed, and do it all again the next day. It is redundant and more than time consuming but it has its perks for sure. I am still pondering if I made the right decision , but I’m going to stick it out since this is only the beginning for me. Good luck on your new endeavors!
I quit the field after 30 years and retired when Medicare PGDM was implemented. I got less visits in home health settings and if I work OP or SNF it's basically a mill treating 5 or more patients an hour all day with no breaks, no holiday pay, no raises, no vacation? All while being treated like a McDonald worker that can be replaced at any moment. No thanks. I would tell anyone to go into nursing but PTA no way. And PT? Your the lowest paid doctor in the history of doctors with the same amount of student debt. Stick a fork in PT as a career.
@Drummy I’m seeing all these reply’s. I’m on the fence for being a PT and was thinking about just going for PTA for now. What do you guys think about occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistans
James T, in my opinion, you actually make it sound much better than anything I've experienced for the last 15 years. When nurses ask "are you really sure you want to switch to field, " I want to put them in my shoes for a week, almost like they put kids in the scared straight program. Outside of having success with your own practice, (which in my opinion has more to do with your luck with "location, location, location," than anything else, as "the man," aka big corporations, state practice acts, and constant reimbursement changes can absolutely take you out, irrespective of anything else), .. and I'm being 100% transparent and realistic, I don't see how anyone, deemed to be not clinically insane, can make a case for going into any rehab field at all. If you have a unicorn job, more flowers your way, the exception does not make the rule. I would really can't think of anything run worse in the medical field OR in general, to be honest. Bro, McDonald's workers in and around my area's, are treated Immensely better, depending on your setting are not only paid more, (hospitals were trying to pay me $11.50), but you better believe aren't clocking out and waking for productivity sake, have a shift, and are still getting paid for the entirety of that shift, aren't getting called off at the time clock...are getting low key fired for "hearesay" of looking into other professions, or even wanting to advance higher, (Ie; McDonald's Univ or mgt vs getting booted for going back to be a DPT bc lack of work dependability), stressing out over reimbursement of every word written bc potential reimbursement implications, having to continue to see customers after being physically assaulted or bodily excitement being thrown on them or loose their jobs, being stuck like modern day ground hog day movie on not being able to get out of the situation bc McDonald's customers have "their rights to be treated if they want, and when they want, and if this doesn't happen, holy hell is raised and job's can be terminated, (ie; pending on the laziness and mental health factor, caseload, etc, good luck getting a pay check, and have fun being a personal servant to MANY people simultaneously), ...also.last time I checked, McDonald's workers salaries eventually go up....they don't stay the same or go $7 - $10 an hour down bc of "lack of reimbursement" and usually they actually have a place to conduct their business, (the resteraunt), and the necessary supplies to perform their duties, and don't have to buy their own or get laughed at or told by corporate "there's the door if you don't like it," if requesting necessary items or place to perform their job correctly. I'm also assuming McDonald's employees can get help to do aspects of their job from co employees and don't have to beg corporate for help, and put their job or professional license on the line or risk being written up or fired only to be told ....ie; in the SNF therapy world "no bc of decreased reimbursement rate".ie; for help/ co tx of a 500 lb plus psych pt that has a hx of throwing themselves on the ground to hurt themselves to sue and or remain in impatient facilities permanently. Also I'm not aware of a McDonald's where employees aren't allowed to, or have to sneak to take bathroom breaks, but I am aware of and worked for SNFs like this, who would also write you up, (not any other department), for having a cell phone on your person....notice I didn't say "use of cell phone" I could on and on and on, ....but got to be extremely mindful of productivity AAT, everyyday!!!! ...would love to post signs like that at the corporate big wigs personal life events like funerals or weddings. Honestly man if I had 5 pts for an hour a piece on my schedule, in a SNF, I would be dreaming, it's more like up to16 - 20 pts between 30 and 40 minutes a piece, and find out who you have to bride nurse and aide wise, and pretty much also do their jobs, so that you can do yours and what supervisory PT will be upset with you for not giving these pts, (especially the combative ones), "a fair shake" ie; coming back and being unproductive and being physically and verbally abused, 3,4, 5, and 6 times, and coming to tx them at 6am bc it's "their right" only to clock out and wait till 10am bc all the other 19 pts are refusing to be "up so early," but you better not see that 65 y/o TKA PT at 6:30pm...even though she had family all day and wants to watch the Maurey Povitch marathon, as you'll be written up for being "unprofessional for being entirely too late!!!" Oh and don't forget to do family education with the demented, A and O x 1, 94 y/o lady to ensure compliance with her WB status, as her compliance is YOUR responsibility, as is the education of the 4th child of hers today....get that skilled Evidence Based tx in...while performing point of service documentation with all those family members that came off the set of Jerry Springer ...in, in 30 ish minutes.....family and pt must be happy...no over delivering of minutes...and oh by the way your tx better not be 30 or 35 minutes though, EVER...bc then corporate knows your tx was definitely all fraudulent....have fun at your ALJ hearing. Oh yeah, and after tha day, make sure to check your texts bc you very well could be getting called off tomorrow, and the next several days bc of lack of pts....but wait by the phone and don't plan on living your life in case your needed, bc that's your responsibility.....well I mean you really can't take PTO anyway bc corporate will use that when you're caseload is "low," aka often, since you get your insurance benefits through them and they would get hit for that, so yeah make sure you pay, to have your time off and that you realize you'll pay more having health insurance than if you paid out right, ...your deductible will be higher than what the insurance will pay out once it's met, etc. etc. I could go on and on and on, ....but I don't want "over deliver on minutes and I must always be mindful of productivity," but I feel like Ben Shapiro in saying most fast food employees have a "better job model, more earning potential, and can definitely male more than some "full time" PTAs ,(bc of how many ways the corporatatioal systems, reimbursement systems, setting, (HH, SNF, Outpatient, etc), are set up to be impossible to meet, let alone thrive, for any human being)...prove me , (consistently), wrong........ (Keeping on mind, the exception does not make the rule) I could go
@@ggram0551 My friend you are giving me flash-backs. Lol. I went through PPS back in 1998. And this PDGM and HH alogorythms thing make that period look like a vacation. At least back then Medicare wasn't targeting PTA's for reimbursement cuts (2022). I feel sorry for anybody in this field. This time it is not going to get better.
@@user-hn9qg5qm3o Just wait until APTA raises the requirement for PTA to a bachelors. They bite there nose off to spite their face. I recently quit my job in October after embarking on my own journey to get paid for my skill and not just my time. I have been a PTA since 2006 and always thought that's what I would do but after realizing I had hit a ceiling on what I could earn quit to start my own therapy company. Would love to connect please reach out when able or do u have a way to get connected with you?
Well U R as cute as a button! So real U made watching this video fun. No I'm not a PTA or a PT ,but know some people who R PTs & wondered why someone might stop being a PTA. That is why I watched your video. But I keep watching it because U R so "REAL" & just adorable the way U talk & move. Glad U have found yourself & like helping people. I too think helping people is the Cat's Meow!!
@@AntonioSanson well you earned the kind words because you kept on going didn't try to make a polished fake video with perfect everything but let yourself be human and vulnerable which is appealing to me and I'm sure many other people I much prefer to see somebody knowing that they're human and they make errors and things don't go all the way they expect. So just be you because it worked for me. I thought it was a delight to watch you. I bet other people liked it too!!
I’m going to renew my license this year which will give me two more years as a PTA. All you have to do to maintain your license is do continuing education and pay a fee.
Antonio demonstrates increased insight in this video. Antonio educated on Medicare's payment models decreasing quality of care with 90% carryover demonstrated by jumping ship before out-patient gets hit bad too. Also, Medicare will be paying 15% less for PTAs' treatments than PTs' next year. Good luck Antonio!
Medicare is waking up. Why pay for a glorified personal trainer when you can simply see a personal trainer with appropriate certs? Plus, many therapists start their own practice and are literal frauds. Physical therapists should be reserved for people with serious ailments. Occupational therapy was hit HARD too, and OTs can't even find jobs.
Happy to see you go for your passions. But quick question... It's very limited on info, however is there a place for PTA's to work (or work around) athletes or sports teams? I'm sure you'd have to get referred to land a job like that but what are the odds on a PTA in/on a sports facility/team? Edit... I'm also about to be licenced as a Massage Therapist, then going straight towards my PTA liscense. Any pointers you have would be greatly appreciated. Have a good day.
Nice! That will definitely help having a background in massage therapy. It’s all about making connections, but yah there are areas you can work in that let’s you work with athletes. Ian who worked at the clinic with me used to do massage/pta for a pro runner It’s all about getting your foot in the door into that niche industry. Once you build a reputation with it it will be easier to network and get into a position where you’re working with more athletes.
Very few, PTA’s or PT’s, anywhere, work with athletes or sports teams. Greater than 95% of the time you will work with elderly patients with mobility impairments. People who use wheelchairs, walkers, and canes. If you got very lucky and found the right job you may get an Orthopedic Physician who refers patients to the outpatient clinic you work at. Some of those patients could be high school or college kids that have a sports related injury and your rehabbing them to get back to playing their sport. Those are dream patients and very rare in my experience.
Mate, you just made my day... I truly appreciate your journey and how you over come it.. Could you please guide me on how did you started your career in digital marketing.. what would be the initial stages to begin with as a new digital marketer? Thank you..!
Thanks 🫡 I started doing videography work then got hired to do social media work then I learned how to run ads. This gave me a lot of the skills I needed to run my business
Hi, I graduated in September 21 and I can relate so much to your struggles, + going back an forth between is it the right thing for me? I started this job/apprentice when I was really young (16) and I had basically no idea what I was doing. Don't get me wrong I loved learning about it and I always had an interest in health. As it turned out working and learning about that job is very different. I struggled A lot in the apprentice and I still do now working in it. I was propably the most depressed I've ever been + I developed an eating disorder in that time. I'm trying to get out and I don't know where this is going to go, but I'm happy that I'm at least not the only one.
Dude as much as I want to tell you how much you've impacted me, you will just have to do with believing me. I'm keeping this short and sweet and don't usually comment but wanted you to know how grateful I am for finding your channel. Best of luck with everything! Edit#1 Since you asked for questions! I am actually really curious as to what is proper Physical therapy aide and physical therapy assistant work attire. I couldn't help but notice your transitions with clothes and job titles and it gave me a good reference but I'm still trying to figure out if all I need is just beige khaki pants lol. I'm sure it depends alot on the location but is there a general rule of thumb? Thank you again!
Man, I'm so glad it wasn't anything negative with the field itself. I'm currently in PTA school.
Right?

Right?😢
@@user-hn9qg5qm3o are you currently in pta school? If so. Can you share your experience that makes it not so glamorous
Don’t be worried lol. Just go for your dreams homie!
Same @Rayvenger93! This video spoke to me. I have been having the HARDEST time deciding on PT or PTA...been on the fence for a while, but this has given me something else to think about. I DO have various interests and enjoy them all. Thank you for the inspiration!

Best of luck!
Thanks so much, I’m totally thrilled you are enjoying the field!

I came across your videos a few years ago when I was considering becoming a PTA. I went down a different path but want to thank you for your insight into the field.
Thanks Matt! What path you go down?
What path did you go down to?
What did you decide to do?

@@mattschmier6298 wish you success man.
With country you live 🙂

Thanks though! Hope all goes well for you.
Hello, how do you like it now? I’m starting my pta program this summer.
Congratulations man, I worked in digital marketing for 7 years and switched to PT school. I just finished my first year. You certainly have the personality to be good at digital marketing.
@Yeep Max Thanks so much my friend.
@Cool N Chill hey guys. Is it stressful or gross or anything like that? I am interested in this as well, but I hear some bad things like what I mentioned.
😃

COVID happened and currently in nursing school now!
Crazy how life works.
That is crazy. Good for you though!
hows the nursing school? I was thinking of doing nursing field or PTA but im not sure. so far Ive seen PTA is 4 years and nursing 2-4 years
2/3 of the way through the video I almost teared up. You did change peoples life. Thank you sm. Bc of covid I switched my sub plan from PTA to PT. I hope to go all the way 💙
I hope it is worth it like you mentioned. I’m that 20 year old hopeful kid that just wants to help. Thank you sm. Hope everything goes well. 🙏🏽
That’s such a positive attitude to have!
I enjoyed my career in it. Hope you the best!
Thanks I am changing careers and I always wanted to be PTA. This video helped.....
Thank you so much for sharing! I resigned from a 70k job to pursue physical therapy and I cry everyday about it but your experience gives me a little hope.
Physical therapy not as glamorous of a career as you thought it would be eh?
Good luck with your future endeavors!!🍻
I appreciate your support!
That was the whole reason why I started watched you because I was gonna go for PTA And I like your energy you're very informational
Thanks for the support!
😃
Do I need to worry about Chem and physics if I want to do PT
Hey Antonio, I’ve been following your videos for a while now and vividly remember watching all your videos as I was applying to my clinicals. I’m in my last clinical (inpatient acute care) and taking boards in October. I agree with what you said, there isn’t much room to move up as a PTA (idk why they let OTA become OTs a lot easier). I def wanted to do videography too as an asset to my skill set. I highly agree with your career choice, time is money and you have more control with what you currently do. Wish you the best brother keep us updated.
Thanks a lot! I know what you mean, I wish there was like a stepping stone to become a PT or something.
You're the reason I chose medicine 3 years ago. Currently a premed student! (Or 2 years. Who's counting)
Niceee! Lol
Finish strong homie
Antonio I just stumbled upon your video and I love it! You're a cool ass dude and you've given me great insight into the field as I just began a PTA program.
Sweet man, glad it was helpful 🤠
Thank you.
What do you do now?
Wow thanks a lot. Encouraging words my friend.
What’s ur podcast, I’d love to listen to it. And good for you!
@@AntonioSanson thank you man! The podcast is called the Physical Therapy Session. I actually did an episode regarding getting a side hustle to dabble in others things besides PT. It helps when you have that outlet

This is so awesome. Did you open the stretch clinic yet
Good for you 👍🏼👍🏼🤘🏼
I heard people can make at least 6 figures being a travel physical therapist assistant.
Good for you taking that leap of faith! 👏 I'm doing the exact same but with becoming a PTA from the Security field of all things lol I'm 33 but being a PTA is the only thing that sounds desirable enough to invest so much time, effort and money into for me personally... I'm excited for this new chapter
How are you liking PTA now? Still feeling the same about it or not so much?
Hey brother. I have been following your journey for a while and I am so proud of you. I am currently studying for the TEAS test to get into the PTA program after getting my Associates in Business Admin and realizing that it wasn't for me. After becoming a PTA I want to work in the field for a few years and eventually open up my own training studio for trainers and massage therapist. I just feel that becoming a PTA first is a good way to make connections, have a stable income (im a single dad) and gain experience. Any thoughts about my plan? Thanks and best wishes!
What's the TEAS Test?
Thanks for being informative and entertaining, good channel.
I became a PTA the same year as you, and I have left the field as well. A DPT is low ROI for high debt. PT is a “burn and turn” field- high productivity expectations, unpaid overtime, and ridiculous productivity standards. Im out of the field as well.
Agree with all of this (from a burnt out PTA)
@@WallFlower81 do you think ROI for pta is worth it? i just graduated highschool so it seems like it is to me
What are you pursuing now?
Thanks a lot.
I appreciate it.
I’m glad you’re still interested in the career! I still will help my sis out and work as PTA sometimes. I still love it!
Thanks for the support.
That's dope, you're still in the field you just opened up more options for yourself instead of limiting to what was available at the time.
Its sad but I have to agree (I am a burnt out PTA)
What if you live in ca or tx
@@superkevv3305 is the pta job market in california good? meaning low unemployment rates and quick hirings?

I appreciate that! Very thoughtful of you to say that.
Its so wonderful to see your progress. Keep up the good work. 😊

Starting a PTA Program this Fall and I was wondering how you felt about working as a PTA and how you would see it as a full time career that’ll help set you up financially in the future? Wanted to get any pointers on what I can do post graduation to make the most of the certification.
Your gifts and talents will make room for you. Good luck on your future endeavors!

Congrats Antonio, I'm glad PT in a way helped you find your new passion! Your videos have been a tremendous help. It gave me lots of insight in the PTA career which was difficult to find. I've never thought of sticking to one career but of always trying something new. I'm glad someone thinks the same. Can't wait for the new content that's to come 🙌
I appreciate the kind words!
Glad the content has helped.

Selling your skill not your time, simple but powerful. Thanks for the vid. I’m debating transitioning PTA-DPT, or investing into something else. Good to hear your perspective.
Hey no problem! There is still a lot you can do as a DPT so whatever you feel is right for you.
PTA pretty much sucks right now. You get treated so poorly.
I appreciate you sharing your story, I have been a subbie for a couple of years now and loved following your content. I work as a Rehab Therapy tech at a number on e trauma center (non profit hospital) and now at the nursing home associated/under the hospital. Do you no longer like pta field
Hope you got it

That is so cool, sounds like you found a good balance in your work congratulations.
Thanks, it’s been really enjoyable and a learning experience
Former SNF rehab director and PTA here for a large staffing company.
You made the right choice. With all of the Medicare budget cuts and PDPM in the SNF setting, we therapists have way more to do for less money. Coincidentally there’s actually a new Medicare budget cut starting in early 2024…
I recently decided to go back to school for computer science to become a software engineer.
I wish I could talk to you for a minute. I’m currently a PTA trying to make this career work for me, but I’m so miserable I’m about to lose my mind.
Spot on. Too many places don't care about quality of care.
I have actually seen 20 minutes treatment times.. I had to work with 6 patients in 2 hours..complete joke
Lol what a coincidence! Haha
Cool to hear your story. Hope all goes well for you.

😀
Thanks for sharing your why. It sounds like you're in the right place now.
Good for you! I love everyone of you’re videos. I’ve been a PTA going on 10 years. Do think PTAS have it rough now? So many changes I hear. Especially with the 85 percent reimbursement in 2022.
Thanks joe,
I think things are changing for sure but I just see it as the career evolving not necessarily getting phased out.
Hey how’s is the pay for pta???
how has it changed for you now? + the setting
Congrats on taking the leap and doing what you want. Your videos have helped me a lot and I’m hoping to be accepted into a pta program next year.
Niceeee! Thanks a lot. Hope you get in!
Thanks! And hey you always have the freedom to switch it up if you are looking for a change.

what state / setting are you in?
@@gif24gt60 i mean, wont physical therapy always be needed and so will their assistants?
I’m curious if this person ever left PTA or are they still doing it?
@@cholkymilkmirage4984 it’s the same with OTs and COTAs.
Also I'm not aware of a McDonald's where employees aren't allowed to, or have to sneak to take bathroom breaks, but I am aware of and worked for SNFs like this, who would also write you up, (not any other department), for having a cell phone on your person....notice I didn't say "use of cell phone"
I could on and on and on, ....but got to be extremely mindful of productivity AAT, everyyday!!!! ...would love to post signs like that at the corporate big wigs personal life events like funerals or weddings.
Honestly man if I had 5 pts for an hour a piece on my schedule, in a SNF, I would be dreaming, it's more like up to16 - 20 pts between 30 and 40 minutes a piece, and find out who you have to bride nurse and aide wise, and pretty much also do their jobs, so that you can do yours and what supervisory PT will be upset with you for not giving these pts, (especially the combative ones), "a fair shake" ie; coming back and being unproductive and being physically and verbally abused, 3,4, 5, and 6 times, and coming to tx them at 6am bc it's "their right" only to clock out and wait till 10am bc all the other 19 pts are refusing to be "up so early," but you better not see that 65 y/o TKA PT at 6:30pm...even though she had family all day and wants to watch the Maurey Povitch marathon, as you'll be written up for being "unprofessional for being entirely too late!!!"
Oh and don't forget to do family education with the demented, A and O x 1, 94 y/o lady to ensure compliance with her WB status, as her compliance is YOUR responsibility, as is the education of the 4th child of hers today....get that skilled Evidence Based tx in...while performing point of service documentation with all those family members that came off the set of Jerry Springer ...in, in 30 ish minutes.....family and pt must be happy...no over delivering of minutes...and oh by the way your tx better not be 30 or 35 minutes though, EVER...bc then corporate knows your tx was definitely all fraudulent....have fun at your ALJ hearing.
(Keeping on mind, the exception does not make the rule)
I could go
@@ggram0551 My friend you are giving me flash-backs.
The way you are treated by your employer today is not going to change. When the schools start shutting down employers will go after H1B's. Get out of rehab unless your a masochist.
I'm so happy for you. All the best.

I too think helping people is the Cat's Meow!!
lol thanks 🤠
“The cats meow” hahaha. I appreciate the kind words
Happy for you man 👍
Good to hear you’re pursuing what you love! Since you left your job, can you still get a job a few years later without having to renew anything?
Whatever happened to the clinic did you all ever get it started? Just wondering....
Yep!!
My sister runs it!
Ian who worked at the clinic with me used to do massage/pta for a pro runner
It’s all about getting your foot in the door into that niche industry.
Thanks 🫡
I started doing videography work then got hired to do social media work then I learned how to run ads. This gave me a lot of the skills I needed to run my business
Hi,
I graduated in September 21 and I can relate so much to your struggles, + going back an forth between is it the right thing for me? I started this job/apprentice when I was really young (16) and I had basically no idea what I was doing. Don't get me wrong I loved learning about it and I always had an interest in health. As it turned out working and learning about that job is very different. I struggled A lot in the apprentice and I still do now working in it. I was propably the most depressed I've ever been + I developed an eating disorder in that time. I'm trying to get out and I don't know where this is going to go, but I'm happy that I'm at least not the only one.
is being a PTA really that bad? Im 19 and im trying to decide if I want to become a PTA or not since it takes 4 years to make 60-70k a year
Dude as much as I want to tell you how much you've impacted me, you will just have to do with believing me. I'm keeping this short and sweet and don't usually comment but wanted you to know how grateful I am for finding your channel. Best of luck with everything!
Edit#1
Since you asked for questions!
Lol I usually wear business casual if I don’t know.
Maybe I’ll make a video about this. Surprisingly I get asked this a lot.
Literally my story! Randomly became a PTA.. now I’m in Marketing! ( for a rehab hospital) ready to jump out on my own.
