I usually find myself , getting called in for an interview and have a very very confident approach at the fact that they called me means they saw my resume and know they want me , but I have a interview for a government plumbing maintenance specialist and I can't tell you how nervous I am , because I have a solid 7 years experience but i hope I crush it and I came here to reassure myself I got this , thank you
Its sad that Valuetainment is going away.... got a job in my field as a Technical Support for Asurion following the exact step that David mentioned. Straight jewel
Yea, the world revolves around the people who can imporess these HR people, not around the ones who has the skill sets for the job. Having skill set has no value these days.
qps 5883 good luck. Dress well, stay calm, if you have time read about the company. Learn who the CEO is, learn about the people that go there and be confident and express a strong willingness to learn.
@qps 5883 Lovely Video! Sorry for chiming in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you heard about - Schallingora Information Investigation Scheme (should be on google have a look)? It is an awesome exclusive guide for learning what you need to say to get hired in a job interview minus the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my GF at last got cool results with it.
This channel and the speaker is very straight forward. He gets to his points fast and smoothly. I'd love to work with him one day. Only if I knew more about his business, therefore I'll have to do some research :)
I watched this and these points are stellar (and are a must for candidates) but it also highlighted how much I would rather own a company and do the hiring. Many thanks!
Thanks Valuetainment and thanku Patrick .. u guys are doing a fantastic job on UA-cam.. and these short videos are amazing must say.. n with the script playing by on the screen as well it's quite easy to capture the points even when I'm travelling and catching up.. it's a really cool addition.. Also like the ones with the blackboard behind.. it really helps in revisiting the points while watching the video without having to skip a few seconds/ minutes back.. Really appreciate it team's efforts for boosting the morale of thousands out there trying to figure out their next step be it business, profession or personal lives.. Big fan.. thanks again..
Useful video!, Patrick! Would also add to do your research on the company through Glassdoor, a site where employees/applicants anonymously review companies. Sometimes they even write about the interview questions they were asked so it can give you time to prepare proper answers. Hope that helps!
Hey valuetainment!! Love the fact that you motivate me to start a real estate business!! However, you are an insurance seller, but could you make a video about what do do in a recession, whatever your business is about? Thanks!!
Wow am Super impressed! first time watching this Man and i was literally engaged from the begining to the end. Your energy is just so amazing Man and this information is priceless! 🔥
Apply only to jobs that you are absolutely sure you can provide massive value. Never take a job as trading your time for money. Love the product, the company, the culture. Be desperate to be part of that journey. All the best to fellow job seekers.
if your not sharing Patrick's videos, your not grateful for the value he has provided to you! come on guys lets help him get to a million subcribers before the end of the year! Pat is the only one that teaches like your dump he repeats and makes himself clear all the time, I love his content. do share!
Excellent Video! Sorry for chiming in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you thought about - Schallingora Information Investigation Scheme (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for learning what you need to say to get hired in a job interview without the hard work. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my friend after many years got astronomical success with it.
defnitely doing the review part. sometimes i think some employees just apply for a job and they dont know that they will be employed on a company built on quicksand
Thanks! You motivate me! I have a call in 30 minutes. Joseph Hemingway no problem, he didn't, he is focused on his PHP agency.. Share valuetainment videos and ask people here on youtube to share as well, this guy deserves it, his humility is of the top :-)
Jamal B, I find this a relatively simple switch in perspective to bring you value to consider. When hiring, or training someone to hire for you, consider these social skills a priority. Most job skills can be taught, but integrity, courtesy, and drive come from within.
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 🎯 Before a job interview, research the company extensively to impress the employer with your knowledge. 01:21 💼 During the interview, be honest about your skills and avoid overselling yourself; match your values and strengths with the job. 02:30 ✉️ After the interview, send a thank-you note expressing your enthusiasm for the job to stand out and leave a lasting impression on the employer. How do you go about selecting people as references to vouch for you when you don't have much work experience? Would using professors or teachers as references be acceptable?
I know I’m 4 years late but just leaving a comment for the sake of other viewers. It’s your responsibility to make yourself suitable for referencing. A lecturer can have over 1000 pupils across their classes, you need to make yourself stand out. Participate in discussions during lectures, ask if you can do tutoring or mark modules for lower years (these often are easy and decent paying side jobs),m. Join the student-teacher liaison committee which will give you the chance to act as the class representative and talk in meetings with all your lecturers. Also join a club at uni (preferably sports team as employers like team players) and try to get a role on the board. I am treasurer of my unis squash club and feel that it shows I have skills relevant to accounting but also I’m prepared to take on responsibilities that do not directly benefit me.
Having, interviewed hundreds, I rarely consider before and after notes/emails. Actually it becomes a red flag if it's too forced because most jobs we ask for a cover letter only which comes with the CV/Resume and reading separate emails or messages is just filling my inbox. We dislike charm offensives or endless namedropping. The best dressed or most charming of candidates often are lacking in experience and skills and rarely is the most capable. You can maybe try PBD's advice for a sales position but do not use it for most jobs. It's plain old fashioned nonsense.

What if all you described is absolutely the 3 steps you ever followed and you know 100% that the job is fit for u and will bring value to the company......but the employer doesn’t even bother to answer Your email thanking for the time and blah blah bla? Of course.....your not hired!!!!
It's happened. You've finally posted a video I have 0 interest in. I quit my job 2 weeks ago and I vowed that would be my last job. Never will I fill out another application. Thanks, but no thanks.
Pat, This is the first video I disliked it . Its not because your tips are not valuable. Its high quality as it always been but you have been seen by entrepreneurs as role model, a guide, a teacher. Someone who corrects, inspires and guides with accurate quick information. I need not to tell you how much courage and passion it requires. In this phase, everyone requires a perfect guide to follow. Man..totally honest with you..seeing u inspiring for job interviews is pretty discouraging.
Well for me my business is client based, so some of the things be did bring up in this will work like a charm in my situation. But you did make a good point on your last sentence there
Are you serious!? How do you think people start saving money, by robbing and shopliftning? Come on! Many of the top CEO's today have worked their way up with someone else as their boss beside. Remember that if you go with that mindset, you will never have employees working for your company. Reply from Valutainment on a comment people, similar to this one: "it was requested by several valuetainers. Bring every piece of evidence you can to justify why they should hire, eliminate the uncertainty they have.
The “ after “ is often considered as overselling here in India and most of the times is not possible as well.
I'm gonna come back here on the day I get my offer letter! best of luck to myself.
Guy texting after interview, to me is just too much, and oversale. Instant dissmisal for me!

If I had my first interview already and have the second scheduled already, is there a need to follow up with them before the second interview?
My issue with the email follow is is that they are so easy to do that they are meaningless. Used to take some effort
Before , during , after.
Research the company so you can be confident about your potential future employer
Exceed expectations
