    Hey Y’all!
    In this video, we are going to be discussing all things related to light pads.
    I will start by doing a light pad unboxing and a light pad accessory unboxing. And, I’ll be showing some other light pads that I use and some REALLY cool accessories and we’ll go over all the basics of a light pad and light pad accessories so that before you buy your first lightpad, next light pad or next light pad accessory, you’ll understand all the different options currently available on the market so you can make the best decision based on your particular needs. And, if you have struggled with having light pad after light pad to stop working, I have the accessory for you that will help eliminate that problem in the future!
    Hope you enjoy the video!

    BEST VIDEO EVER!!! Thanks for being so informative, I am currently watching this video on my TV and my tablet. I have never watched a video on UA-cam for this long. Absolutely the best for information. I will be buying the light pad you are reviewing.

    I don't often use a light pad but did find the video quite informative, I do like the idea of the magnetic attachments for electronic products. Will be passing that on to my son who never knows where he has left his charging cables. Stocking stuffer..yes. 📲

    Hi. You are very good at explaining and describing. I have been using a light pad since I started diamond painting 4 years ago. I also have an angled board that helps me to not have to bend so far over my picture. Both of these make diamond painting more enjoyable. Thanks for your information.

    Excellent video! I wouldn't have thought it possible to be able to talk about light pads for an hour and a half, but you definitely proved me wrong! And thank you for it! 😁
    Would you consider making a separate video about power banks? (it doesn't have to be an hour and a half unless you think it needs to be 😉)
    This prompts me to mention: it would be great if you had your own UA-cam channel just for tech. You probably get tired of tech after having to deal with it for work, but you always explain tech SO WELL and in a way that's so easy to understand. Anyways, just a suggestion.😄
    Keep the great videos coming! 😁

      Hi Perry! Yea... you and me both! But, if you would have seen how many things I had sitting around me that I actually showed in that video in total, it was a bunch of stuff... So, I knew just from all the things I pulled into the video that it was going to take awhile to go over all of it. That's why I call my channel "Diamond Painting Between the Lines"... I like to dig deep into things that interest me sometimes. Oh my! Thanks for the vote of confidence, but no way! I could NEVER do a tech channel. 🙃 My husband is a network engineer and he's the REAL techy in my household. I told you everything I know about power banks, and that's not that much really. I just love using them from an end user perspective. I did spend some time researching all the ones on the market and looked for ones that had proof they had the capacity they state they have. So, I'm pretty comfortable that the two I recommended are probably pretty good. The Anker brand is always going to be a good choice. But, it costs a bit more. Glad you liked the long, long, long light pad video! Thanks for commenting and for your suggestions. Keep them coming! 😄

    Right now I just have one of those cheap light pads, but I have two power banks that I can switch with each other when one is charging. I am definitely going to be looking at getting one of those power switch covers, because a lot of times my diamond painting canvas will be covering the power button but if I move it too much it will turn the lights up or down. Very annoying. I am very interested in those magnetic power cords. I Will definitely invest in those in the very near future! I like things Bright. Very bright. So not only do I use the light pad but I have a desk light that also shines over top the diamond painting, and I have a room light that is very bright. And I’ll have all of them on at the same time. 😂 thank you for once again putting out an incredibly informative video

      Hi again, Dragonlove! That's what I do... I have a couple of power banks I use too... The switch covers are nice. You'll love them! You'll love the magnetic cables with your power banks. I put one of the magnet ends on my light pad and one on the charging port of the power bank so that it's easier to plug the power bank in to charge too! Wow! You do like things bright! I like to work with the light pad on so I can dim the other lights down some. 💕

    Thank You! I now have a rechargeable light pad that’s covered on all sides in my Amazon cart. I will probably wait a few more months to get it. My current light pad is showing the light on 3 sides, and it’s a bit annoying. I’m very sensitive to light. And the light pad in my cart has 5 variations of light. And the power switch and cord connection is on the side 💕

      Hi Jess! Yea, it's a bit funny... I will watch other creators tutorials still even though I usually know most of it too... But, sometimes there will be a "little twist" to something they are doing that is a bit different that I will find interesting. I haven't heard any other creators talking about using the magnetic cables with their light pads. That's why I spent a bit of time on it in the video. At night time, I like to turn on my light pad and turn off or at least lower the brightness of my overhead lights. It's easier on my eyes when I diamond paint. I will never diamond paint without a light pad again. I currently have an A3 but I'm thinking about getting an A2 at some point since I've started working on larger diamond paintings. You did a wonderful job with this video. I never thought about using the magnetic cables for a light pad but I like the idea to help increase their longevity. Have a great week!

    Love my A2 light pad that has the on off attached to the cord so I don'thave to worry about hitting the power button. But I do like your reasoning for wanting one on the pad itself. I've had mine over a year now with no issues but I'll keep it in mind if it goes out! I just keep it on my draft table and I don't have to keep moving it around for the large diamond paintings that are pretty much all I do. I'm going to have to look into one of the smaller ones for when I try your HAED idea!

    • @DiamondPaintingBetweentheLines
      @DiamondPaintingBetweentheLines  Рік тому +1

      Hi Hartanna! Having a dedicated diamond painting space where you aren't moving that cable or disconnecting it a lot work as a better option, for sure. Wow! A2! 😱 That's a HUGE light pad. You will DEFINITELY need to purchase an A4 size if you try the HAED new method. An A4 is a perfect size for the pages. Thanks for the comments!

    Love the detail! More please. This will be such a great resource for new painters. I have the A1 but I have a dedicated place for diamond painting and it’s the same size as my easel. I have some smaller ones if I take a painting to my daughter’s house. I’ve been wondering about the magnetic cables, really appreciate your input on those. Hi Tammy, I have all three sizes of light pads, but I mostly use the A3 unless I’m doing a small DP and then I use the A4. I find the A2 is too big. I didn’t know about magnetic cable, but they look awesome so I will have to check Amazon. Thanks for sharing your tips.

    • @DiamondPaintingBetweentheLines
      @DiamondPaintingBetweentheLines  Рік тому

      Hi Lisa! That's interesting that you have all 3 sizes. That's exactly why I didn't buy an A2, I thought I would probably not use it because I try to keep my diamond painting portable so I can easily diamond paint wherever I want to at that time. And, I thought the A2 would take too much power to run well with my power bank and it would be bulky to move around. But, I can see how people that have a large dedicated space close to an outlet might like them too... The magnetic cables are awesome! Glad you liked the info! Thanks for the great feedback, as always! 💜

    Thank you Tammy for your very informative video on light pads, I learned a lot! I was due to buy a new one and I followed your advices. I cannot DP without my light pad even when symbols are very clear. I had an old cheap A4 and I am replacing it with a new A3 that I should receive in a couple of days. I did invest a bit more for a much better quality; my eyes deserve it!
    For a gentle constructive feedback, I found the video a bit too long and repetitive, It took me 3 sessions to finish it. I do follow quite a few channels so I prefer shorter videos. I do appreciate all the hard work you put into making it though!

    • @DiamondPaintingBetweentheLines
      @DiamondPaintingBetweentheLines  Рік тому +1

      Hi Laurence! You'll love the A3 size. It's nice. Regarding the feedback. Thanks for that. I think you are the 3rd person in total that has commented on the length of my videos. But, at this time, overall, I am getting WAY more feedback that people like the videos being longer and more detailed. I think it's a way I "differentiate" myself from other creators right now. So, I don't think I'll be changing that overall approach at this time, at least. But, I know it won't be everyone's "cup of tea" either. But, I appreciate you letting me know. Right now, since all my videos are new subjects for me, I am just "dumping" everything I have learned at this point. So, it takes longer. Later on, I do expect my videos to get shorter and shorter. For example, if I do another light pad unboxing, I will probably say, "If you want a more detailed video about all things related to light pads, go to this video"... If you don't like repetitive videos, I bet you REALLY hate diamond painting unboxings then! 🙃 Since, they are 90% repeat of things we all know like "what are ABs", "what does the square symbol mean on a DAC box", "how to flatten your diamond painting", "don't forget to peel back the wax cover", "square DPs only have the tweezers in them", etc... I find all that info gets old to hear over and over again. But, I understand why they do it. There's always new viewers out there that if you don't explain it, they will ask you all those questions in comments. So, I get why we all spend the time "over explaining" things. Thanks for the feedback. It helps me to know so I can make changes as needed based on the where the majority of the feedback is driving my channel. Have a great week! 💜

      @@DiamondPaintingBetweentheLines Thank you for your lengthy response! I only meant by « repetitive » that within the same video, some info are told more that once. I think it's normal when a video is long to forget what is already mentioned.
      Anyway, like I said, it was just a « gentle constructive feedback».
      Good luck to you and your channel.
