Have had this problem many times with plugs. I finally just started duck taping the end that plugs into the pad securely to the port. I use black and you can't even see the tape. I just have to unplug from the wall and the port never gets messed up. I also have 2 A4 pads that I ducked taped together on the back for when I do a larger DP or my beaded cross stitch kits. So much cheaper than a A3 as I paid $12.00 a piece. Works good just need a power strip near you to plug them in and just flip the strip off when done.
I have this same brand for my light pad, same size, but not rechargeable. I messed up my cable right away. It got hung when I moved and yanked it out. I ordered a new cord that has an angled plug end, which works much better for me. The pad I have is magnetic, I use small pushpin style magnets to help hold my cover papers in place when covering a spot not finished but not enough sticky left to stick the paper to, I love it. I did not pick it out, my son surprised me with it.
The light pad is heavier because of the built in battery. The orange light on the side will flash while charging and turn solid when fully charged. The red light is the power light and when you turn it on, hold the on button down continuously to change to brighter settings. Hope this helps.
I’ve been looking at this one and really appreciate you sharing it. I’ll be very interested in seeing an ‘update’ review after you have had a chance to use it for a bit.
Stitcherista I have an A2 that plugs in so have been contemplating seeing if there is a rechargeable or USB based in this size. I love it but if you don’t have electricity, can’t use it. I use a HALO power supply for my USB light pads so don’t have to worry about a plug. It is a brick but have taken it in the car and traveling (cruise and plane) so I always have a diamond painting that I can work on.
I used silver sharpie and put dots on right side of plugs!!! My manual said to put switch on battery to charge and when it is finished charging, red light will flash. Red light is on, but not flashing! Does yours flash every time when fully charged??? Also, what do you use to clean your light pad? Get wax on mine! Thank you so much for your help! Relatively new to your channel but trying to watch all your videos and give you thumbs up! You are awesome 😎!!!
Danielle, thank you so much for this! You really go above and beyond for your channel and it’s much appreciated more than you know! 💜 How has the light pad been now since you’ve been using it for a while? I know you are done much more of Elizabeth that’s why I ask. 😊 Like you, I hate the chords as well.
I LOVE the light pad! I have used it for a week or so and love it. So glad to not be tethered by a cord!! And because I only have the light pad on the lowest setting, it lasts hours and hours.
I think you’re looking at the wrong light. That’s probably the power light. The light on the side that turned on when you hit the switch is now off. It is 3 level according to the info on Amazon.
i had 2 light pads so far.......never came with a usb and all mine were too small...........never stayed connected so i downloaded a FREE lightpad app............its a pain though cause it clicks off easy.
The light didnt go off when it was charged because you still had it on BATTERY! I was trying to tell you through the screen to PUT IT ON USB WHEN YOU ARE CHARGING IT WITH THE USB CORD!!!!
My manual says this exactly: FLASHING ORANGE when charging. FLASHING RED when charged! Says nothing about how to tell when it needs charge!! Also, does not FLASH RED when charged! It stays red continuously, no flashing!!! OMG, need new or different instructions!!!

That light pad is perfect. It is a great size and I love the idea of not being tied down by cords. Thank you for sharing.

I did wind up figuring all of this out eventually. The instruction manual was not very clear!!
Thanks, I will be checking this out. It seems awesome!
I also had the same issue.....so now I do not unplug from the light pad when I am done, but unplug it from the charger.
Very nice light pad. I plan on getting another A4 so I don't have to keep moving it to another room.
Solved the issue by buying longer cords and used clips to clip cord to top of board wireless ? Is cool but I paint longer than 5 hours lol
That's what I do too. Totally helps!

Mine does not blink. You can use goo gone to clean residue off the light pad.

Looks like you might be in the wrong usb port - looks like there is two. Try plugging in to the right of the light. :-)
How good is that! Love Elizabeth ☺
Thanks for the video.

Ah okay. Thanks! The instruction manual was not very clear!
I love my Huion light pad! I'll have to get the rechargeable one next time. Thanks for the review.
I love love love my A3 light pad...
Danielle my light pad but the dust! Shopping for replacement. How has this one held up over time? Still working? Still love it? Worth the price?
Yes, I still use it and it works great. Completely worth the money.
Thank you so much! Ordering from your link now
Omg I need this in my life!!
My light pad for my diamond painting is make it better to see my letter and number clearing
You could be on QVC.......sold! Need that wireless!
I’m having the same problem with mine. It said it was adjustable but it isn’t.
I had the issue of wearing out the port on my light pad. Bought an A3 with the cord coming out of the sudd
I have the same exact issue with my light pads. I ruin the portal by forgetting it is plugged in.
Hi Dear One. Great video as always.
Hold finger on the button it should get brighter
Yes, I did figure that out...eventually. Haha.
Oh wow! I need one! 😆 That price though.
I can always count on you to find what I
Looking for... lol

Do you know where I can get a2 or a3 wireless lightpad i tried your link for a3 but it doesn't say wireless in details
Try this link: amzn.to/2N5G6T6
Hopefully I finally found the one you have
First one!! Yay!!
My lightpad dims when you hold the power button, not just tapping multiple times like some of them, so try that maybe?
HA! I commented this too early obviously. Way to go me! lol
It's hard to tell looking at it on the video, LOL!! :-)
