Lucas never should have sold Lucasfilm to Disney. He should have set his royalties, trust fund, and hedge fund and some shares involved in his company and pass it down to the people who were committed to the Expanded Universe. Folk like Timothy Zahn and other EU writers were far better to pass down such a legacy to then to Kathleen Kennedy and Dave Filioni who are treacherous and vain. My question is what does Kathleen Kennedy have on Bob and/or other Disney executives? It's one thing to flop spectacularly on a single venture while keeping your job but it's a completely different story to not only just flop 4-5 times over consecutive years with each one being worse than it's predecessor but to come away from each cleaner than you were before and with seemingly more power than you previously had. The answer is simple for Disney to resolve this disaster.
1. Sideline Kathleen Kennedy since they can't fire her, give her a new office in a janitor closet in the subterranean level. Put her in charge of creative editing of all incoming scripts which would require her to read and provide comments during a weekly meeting with Disney interns.
2. "Order 66" (Blacklist) Leslye Headland and anyone else (Ryan Johnson, J.J. Abrams) (writer/director/producer) associated with Kenobi, Ahsoka, Acolyte, and Skeleton Crew from any future Star Wars projects.
3. Hire George Lucas as the new head of Lucasfilm with full creative control and hire/fire authority.
4. Put Dave Feloni on a leash and make him report directly to Lucas and Favreau.
5. Assemble a new writer/director/producer team hand picked by George Lucas. They would undergo a boot camp to vet new perspective talent so that hacks like Headland or Johnson never get control again. Give them a non-Star Wars project to start with and if the series succeeds and the reviews are good, then they can start on Star Wars projects.
6. Retcon the sequel trilogy, jettison the Rey Skywalker/Palpatine storyline altogether, and retool a storyline with elements from the Timothy Zahn trilogy but with edits; Mara Jade would be the perfect female Jedi hero that fans have been asking for decades.
7. Focus on developing story driven series like Andor with some of the fun of the Mandalorian.
8. Instead of hiring the actor from Squid Games why not hire the writer!
9. Issue a standing order that stories will be based on core material - NOT agenda or personal issues.
10. Issue an apology to the fans.

Back when the Original trilogy was in theaters, diverse crowds of humans stood around the block waiting for tickets, all enjoying each other's company. Nobody was excluded, nobody was told, "This isn't for you!" or "You're too toxic to stand in line with us." Nothing in the movies beat us over the head with politics. This was pure, escapist entertainment, and a LOT of the fans were young men who weren't the alpha coolest bad-asses, and their friends, families and dates. These guys loved being able to escape and feel like greatness was possible. Now? Diversity and Inclusion doesn't include us, not even a little bit.

What does Disney do? Get rid of George Lucas, destroy the lore and make up their own garbage, make bland characters and a garbage plot, for example, “somehow palpatine has returned!” Basically get rid of everything that made Star Wars so loved.

There is a reason why DEI does NOT work. Real talent will ALWAYS
rise to the top. Whilst all people should have equal rights, equality as of itself does not exist. Some people ARE more talented than others and some are way LESS talented. That is REALITY people. Cream will always rise to the top and casting and hiring personnel based on their ethnicity or gender or gender bending, as opposed to ability, will always end in disaster. This is why EVERYTHING about the Acolyte is atrocious. The writing, the directing, the acting, the entire concept is unspeakably BAD.
