We happen to be here right now down in the valley section A. Verizon is sort of OK. Calls in and out are no problem. Mobile hot spot ok in the early morning and later evening, but slow during the day. Have not had any issues with phone calls. Because I do so much online, I purchased the wi-fi for a week and the antennae is literally right next to me and works good.
We were there in March 2019 and those boondocking places have been shut down. BLM said there were too many "permanent residents" and the ones directly across the main long driveway into the campground have huge boulders blocking them. Just for viewer info. Great vid... can't wait to get back!
Yes, that was one of the first things we noticed this year....no boondockers, boulders and signs. We drove around that area last year to see if we might have any interest in boondocking there. NO...nasty piles of garbage any many areas. Too bad they had to do that.
Nice tour and glad you got to see so much of my home State of Arizona. I'll add two places that are great stops for lunch to your video.... Haunted Hamburger in Jerome, and Oaxaca Mexican restaurant in Sedona. Safe travels and enjoy! Pete - KI7LIL
I just use a cheapo video camera from Sam's Club Sony Handycam and my Smart phone. I use Power Director for editing. Check out my video on How I Make My Videos and you'll see an example of how it works. Thx for watching.
Be careful with the drone. Some TT parks like Lake of the Springs does not allow them in their air space, or to take off on their land. If you head out there make sure to ask Management before flying. The old sayin better to ask for forgiveness then permission does not work at LOTS LOL Happy trails!
@@WattsOnWheels I guess the rule was new when I was walking back to camp with my drone in hand... and boy did the landscape guy not know how to handle it... they had had thefts like a month before i flew up in dry dock, the thieves used a drone to fly over and see what they had to do to get in... so now because of some bad guys we dont get to fly. Just wanting to save you the embarrassment... LOL Felt like i committed a felony the way he was hollering LOL But if you come up and Im here I can show you some off grounds take off spots... but i dont suggest flying over the park even over the 100 foot privacy range... but your the pilot so its up to you.
I lived in Cottonwood 35 years ago.
I bet it has changed a lot since then. They win for the most number of roundabouts.
Thank you for your videos…..your vids and narrative are outstanding.
Glad you like them! We try to put info in them that will help others.
What a great video. Like how it takes you step by step once your in. Christmas party looked like a good time too.
Thanks so much for watching Alonso. Glad you liked it.
How's the Verizon signal in the campground? Could you get stable cell phone signal? Thanks.

Awesome. We will be back. Love it there.
Great tour. Do you know what they charge for extended stays?
No I don't. When looking online it appears you have to enter your name and information and they will contact you back.
Thank you for posting. BTW, what camera and video software do you use?
