I'm in Connecticut born and raised here in New Haven. Looking to escape the crazy weather and costs here in...cottonwood came up on my radar... Love to know more about this place.
Cottonwood AZ. is surrounded by public lands, National Forests, Verde River, Oak Creek, Page Springs, water Conservative's. Unique creative communities.
Thank you for the video Dawn. I really enjoyed it. Read comment below so will check out the Clarkdale video now. (Can't remember if I watched it or not). These are just what I was looking for. I lived in Cottonwood for a brief time, (I stayed with someone while building some custom homes in Sedona at the base of coffee pot rock), in the late 80s early 90s. Native Zonie here. I shouldn't of been shocked that the prices of the homes have gone up so much there but I was a little surprised. I for one am anxious to see your next (3) Verde Valley videos. Thanks again.😊
I have a couple videos on Verde Valley, but they are a little old. I think I have a “pros and cons of Verde valley”, “top towns of Verde valley”, and maybe a “reasons not to move to Verde valley” on the list. I can’t remember the exact titles
Jerome is nice but there are very few homes for sale. I will occasionally will see one house listed in Jerome in all of the Verde Valley Association of Realtors listings. Usually a few pieces of vacant land. But it is a nice place to own a house or vacation home. Good views of Verde Valley, sometimes all the way to Sedona.

@@livinginnorthernaz Well thank you for trying ,I do have another question. Arizona does not have no property tax but housing and rent is very expensive compared to other places in the U S A why do you think that is ???and again thank you for trying looking into the 3% tax I could not find the answer either .I know the neighboring communities Sedona ,Jerome ,Verde no tax on groceries.
@@laceysky6141 supply and demand, we’ve had a lot of people moving here the last few years. I agree, rent and housing costs are extremely high. AZ used to be a reasonable cost to live, but not anymore.

Hi Dawn. I'm interested in the Flagstaff area. Do you have a video we can watch on that area?
Hi, I have a few on Flagstaff. Here is a link to the playlist. ua-cam.com/play/PLQkEdaOkZ2yHgL0Q-qhjitAs4hA0pF64I.html
How do I contact you?
How about Jerome ? Is there much real estate up there ? That would be a cool place to live.

@@livinginnorthernaz Can you see the San Francisco Peaks from Jerome , or do you have to go higher up Mingus Mt ?
No
No high home prices now!!! Keep raising the rates!!
Too late, prices seem super high.

Is there an area known for good soils?
Cottonwood sounds like a snooze. It's best attribute seems that it's close to somewhere else.
Proximity to Sedona is a big draw for Cottonwood.
My budget is 75k! Need a 3/2 house in Cottonwood az!
you can get a nice piece of land to build your home in that price range
Keep renting and dreaming. $75K is the price of a decent car.
@@joevarga5982 the collapse is coming! Im buying the entire state of Arizona for PENNIES on the dollar! 2024 is my year of wealth!
If I move to Cottondale, will I be bit by an alligator?
