THIS IS THE VIDEO I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOREVER FOR. Seriously man, thank you for everything that you do in regards to helping people interested in getting into wrapping. You are the man!
Just watching is odly therapeutic. I do, however have a lot of corners and difficult areas to contend with...just not on a car...yet. I'm seriously considering it.
Chris, Just wanted to extend my appreciation to you for this video. I am tackling a partial wrap on my off-road Lexus GX470. I have not been happy with the corners. This video answered a lot of my questions about wrapping the corners. Your door-handle video was also a blessing for me (actually all your videos!). Please know how much help and guidance your videos provide. No swearing, monkey-shines or crazy thumping music...just great information. Thanks again! FlyboyTR Mobile, AL
I know this is a old video but thank you for showing how you wrap the corners. Iv been watching your videos for a while now and I wrapped my entire 00 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 in Vivvid Camo and now my 22 Can am Commander in Vivvid + Gloss slate grey. It has corners with 3 or 4 angles that was challenging so I searched your channel and found this awesome video! I just need to work on the excess wrap I know you leave about 1/4in and Im leaving about 1/2in or so. So on corners itll bunch up so I just need a little more work in those areas.
I’m taking up wrapping. I watched a few of ur vids and gained the confidence to wrap the chrome trim, spoiler, grill, and gas cap on my K5. I appreciate this so much. I really feel the spark of a new passion with this.
@@marcoperez306 It did. The more I've learned the more difficult it's become. Especially when it comes to trying to read wrinkles, but I'm far from deterred. I've seen improvements through the past year, and I've gotten good feedback.
Just what i am needing, as i'm soon to do some wrapping on my Rogue front end. With lots of corners. Excellent teaching and demonstrating!!! Deeply appreciative!!! thanks again!
Gearing up to do my first wrap and I gotta say its intimidating, but your videos are so helpful and its really nice to know that the information is out there for reference. Keep it up CK, your killin it!
Thank you so much. I'm wrapping my 10 year old yellowish cream kitchen cupboards with white now. So much more modern and I got the beveled edged corners perfect with the help of this tutorial
These recent videos on this beemer have helped so much!👏 The toughest corner for me is always the doors front bottom corner (cornering the fender/side skirt.) Such a tight spot to stretch over the corner of the door and fender corner.
i've been watching many of your wrapping videos for quite some time and this one is great. though im not a professional, i enjoy doing some small wrapping stuff on my car. Thanks for sharing your skills bro.
I've been wrapping motorcycle and cars for more or less 6 years here in the Philippines.. all I can say is we are using different techniques bcos we are using different types of stickers... And I can say dat u have d best stickers.. how I wish to have materials like yours 😅😅😅
I really love that cutting tool. Which one is it? I don't like the other ones you usually see on Amazon and stuff because they're just flimsy. I've been thinking about messing around with cheap vinyl wrap on a hardtop. Who knows I might wind up being good if I play around with vinyl wrap enough. It looks fun.
ive always thought what the seams looked like. I wonder what vinyl is absolutely the most user friendly like bubbles or wrinkles the least and hard to burn.
Just found this channel it's brilliant I love his tutorial skills absolutely perfect I messed up my interior trim due to heating after cutting so I'm going to start again ,,so thankyou !

Bro i tried wrapping my side mirror around bends not even this tight and could not get it without lots of fingers and when I'd apply heat it would pretty much make the fingers permanent. Could it be the vinyl wrap? I used a cheap one off of ebay.
How do you wrap inside corners without chamfering the edge. I've been attempting this for intricate interior trim and have had no real success. If you have any tips or tricks on that I would greatly appreciate any advice!
Hello, I would like to see how to wrap a very cornering shape with depth too, for example the whole exterior mirror of an Audi a3 8p inside out, is there a way of doing it at one peace?
So, I know this video is old. But I just wanted to say: thank you. This really helps me. I'm practicing with small stuff now just to get the hang of it. I tried doing a case for my phone with some leftover vinyl but I couldn't make the corners. I'll try it again with more leftovers to see if I can make it better. One question I have is: how do you know when to stop the heat? One thing that happened to me is that I used the heat gun, the vinyl looked ok but had some wrinkles, I used again, bam there's a hole in it. Small, but still a hole. What are your thoughts about that? Could it be a bad material or did I do it wrong?
Heat in shorter increments of time, from a farther distance (like 8-10 inches away).. that should prevent heating too much and/or too quickly I know your comments old but just in case you are still wondering
Good video on how to wrap corners! However, how do you deal with corners/edges that are not as sharp/angled? Like the corner on the front fender to the left of the third corner you are doing in the video? Know what I am talking about?
What about something big like atv plastics? Particularly the gas tank area, so I would have a bunch of relief cuts wouldn't I? More than one anyway correct? And on overlays you always do the bottom first don't you? I've only done very little wrapping I did do the hood of my truck didn't come out too bad. Had like 3 bubbles I couldn't get out. I was using Vvivid and it seemed like once it touched the surface it was stuck and a biotch to get back off without putting wrinkles in it. Wonder if I would have better luck with the wet method? Chris you bad mofo with that shit man
THIS IS THE VIDEO I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOREVER FOR. Seriously man, thank you for everything that you do in regards to helping people interested in getting into wrapping. You are the man!

Lol same here😁
Just watching is odly therapeutic. I do, however have a lot of corners and difficult areas to contend with...just not on a car...yet. I'm seriously considering it.

What are the best brands of vinyl?
I would like to see you do the headlight on a 1955 Chevy.
I'll do it on my truck's chrome step boards and I'm thinking of black snake color vinyl 😄😄
