    • @wisconsineaglesfan7925
      @wisconsineaglesfan7925 8 місяців тому

      @@elementoryking4452 Depends on what you consider expensive. But depending on your vehicle, it should be under $200 for the material. The real cost is the time to prep right, and installing. A pro like this on a stand can knock out a great job in 7 minutes, a first timer installing on the car will easily be quadruple that time. After you've done it some times it gets easier, especially if it is the same car and you can reuse learned tricks for tough spots.

    When i used this technique at my last wrapping job my boss walked in and yelled at me for "doing it wrong" saying that im supposed to squeegee the middle section down first then stretch othe the sides and front after. She would always argue with me on everything i wrapped being done wrong yet my work always came out better than hers and her husband. She also said she was a 3m preffered installer and that her name was listed on their website (like all 3m preffered installers) and i went home that night and looked it up and couldnt find her or her husband anywhere lol. Anyways, great work i miss wrapping cars and im actually going in for an interview with another wrap company tomorrow so hopefully ill be able to break off the 4 years of rust and hone my skills again.

      Some vinyls are heat activated which usually just lay down and stick right away, and some are pressure activated. Avery and 3Ms 2080 can lay down and even slide around before actually sticking down until you apply pressure from the squeegee or palm.

      This is wrapping film, with air egress and repositionable adhesive.. cut vinyl is a different product. Good luck!

    This took me a long time to do before seeing this. I think 3 hrs. I struggled with the bubbles. I did order short and had to adjust though. I’ll be doin a little more in the next couple o days. This time I learned.

    I like that yellow/gold colour. What’s the name and approx. how much a roll? Can a roll do a whole vehicle and how long does it last? Just comparing wrap to paint cost. Ty.

    Where's the rest of the video? How long did it take to remove the hood and then after refit? 😉 But what worried me was how you used your knife round the whole edge. You didn't leave anything to wrap and stick underneath. I'm not a wrapper myself, yet. But watching a ton of videos from CK Wraps amongst others, I suspect that this wrap will start to peel around the edges within the first year 🤔 Having said that, I did enjoy the video and learn from it. You have a unique technique which was quick and effective, letting the air out as you swiped down each section. So Thx and Subscribed 🤟
