@@ghored123 could be but depends on where he is from bc wrap in central Europe for example is super hard to find and way over priced... I wanted to get car wraped for my mum, They sayd it would have been there for 4 days and I would pay about 70 000 CZK which is about 3000 USD... that is 3 months or more of full paycheck so....

I've watched and learnt probably all your techniques but I still watch to keep them fresh in my mind, that laying into recessed areas is one of the ones i try to do when at work but my boss is super picky and wants things done their way and to use primer in those spots and always to stretch into these areas its so frustrating and has caused many segments between me and my boss lol, anyways keep up the great work

Great job. I take a plastic putty knife and gently heat the end and shape it to reach areas like this. Much faster and eventually you will have an assortment of plastic putty knives for different areas. Keep up the great work. :D

Wrapped my motorcycle fairing over the weekend it gave me a mental break down lmao took it to a guy who works from home and he showed me how to cut the wrap in seperate pieces and made my life so much easier

I wrapped my Jeep using your videos as a guide. My only problem was glue lines with Avery film. Otherwise went smooth
Did the film fold over on itself at all or were the conditions to warm when you did it?
Glue lines can happen with Avery just as easily as 3m. 3m is much worse since they're a lot thicker and more prevalent

I wasn't repositioning properly I think was my problem. Some spots I couldn't do it rapidly like he does and that's where my lines happened was on slower repositioning.
Practice makes perfect. We cant all be like christian haha. Good luck with the next one though brother

Great videos. When the clear coat is shot and paint faded surface rough I assume that wet sanding the surface, in this instance the hood and top, would be in order. A simple yes or what to do would help. Thank You 19SkyPilot48
Yes. You want it as smooth as possible. My mirrors had major clear coat failure, I sanded them smooth and they came out great. I wrapped a lip spoiler for a friend, it had been hit so the paint cracked and I told him it was his responsibility to fix the paint. He did a shite job and every bit of it showed through the wrap - I asked him to not put my name on it... hope this helps.

I couldn't see the detail on that wrap tool you used between the door and the fender. Can you put a link to that? Also, what do you do to repair scratches in vinyl once it is on the car?
Tools are on eBay if you go cheap, with vinyls scratches are rarely visible depending on how bad. High heat gun or replacing the whole wrap on that panel for scratch repair.

@ck is there a right and wrong direction of the film? Like there is with window tint.
I usually say to run all films in one direction whenever possible
@ck wraps i bought isopropyl alcohal 99 pefcent. I couldnt find the same as what you use but is this okay? Do you add water to yours?

Prevents sratches and to better visually see. That's why I tape off when I wrap. Could be other reasons also
